Top 10 Worst Baby Shows

The Top Ten
1 Barney & Friends Barney & Friends is an American children's television series aimed at children from ages 1 to 8, created by Sheryl Leach and produced by HIT Entertainment. It premiered on PBS on April 6, 1992. The series features the title character Barney, a purple anthropomorphic tyrannosaurus rex who conveys educational messages through songs and small dance routines with a friendly, optimistic attitude. Despite the show being popular with kids, the University of Chicago professor W. J. T. Mitchell's book The Last Dinosaur Book: The Life and Times of a Cultural Icon, he notes that the program is often a target for parody and negative attacks by children of various ages, adolescents, and adults in the United ...read more.

This was tough since I also hate Peppa Pig but Barney is worse. He's crap. Even at a social group I go to (I'm 11 by the way) all the kids are younger! Like 7, 5, and even younger! So one kid never participates with the group and always plays Barney on his iPad! The same part of the show again for 3 hours! So annoying! Plus, the worst part is the other people like Barney! And I LIKE TELETUBBIES WATCH THAT! Boo to my Autism!

I agree, Barney is creepy, his eyes are so ugly and creepy, and his face can't move and stares at you. Baby Bop is one of the worst singers I have ever heard, the songs are sucky and stupid. And Barney is a pedophile, corny.

Wait a minute hold the phone they made a strangers are a friend you never met episode? I thought this was supposed to help kids learn not have them talk to a maybe muderer or kidnapper and my mom always asked why I hated this show is when that episode went on air I can't even anymore

Someone putting This show ticked me off, is probably why you can't vote for more than one now unless you have an account I dunno. If I want to vote for different things I use Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge and Firefox urgh.

2 Caillou Caillou is a Canadian educational children's television series that was first shown on Teletoon (both English and French versions), with its first episode airing on the former channel on September 15, 1997; the show later moved to Treehouse TV, with its final episode being shown on that channel on October 3, 2010. The show was animated in Canada by CINAR Corporation (later Cookie Jar Entertainment),... read more

I hate Caillou, he whines too much and he also throws tantrums like a baby. I have read some complaints about this show and moms felt like Caillou is teaching kids to whine until they get what they want. In one episode Caillou pushed his little sister, Rosie out of his room, another episode he threw a temper tantrum because he couldn't go to the circus, then an another episode he pinched his baby sister on the cheek and made her cry, then another episode he called Clementine "stupid", and finally in one episode he cried over a teddy shirt.

It's actually not a bad show, it also sort of gives a role model for the parents and how calm they should react. Caillou is just an example of how a typical child probably behaves, and it shows that no one is perfect and we all have our down times. The only realistic show actually.

This show is crap! Caillou teaches kids to throw temper tantrums! Which is completely inappropriate for little kids who are watching this! I don't think parents should let their kids to watch Caillou.

3 Dora The Explorer Dora the Explorer (2000 - 2019) is an American preschool educational animated TV series created by Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh, and Eric Weiner in which Dora goes on adventures with her friend, a monkey named Boots.

Dora does irritate people over 6 but she is not for people over 6. Children under 6 do they understand television properly? no. This show teaches communication, how to locate things. She repeats everything because children under 6 are starting to learn. She talks to inanimate objects (map, backpack) and animals Monkey Boots and a Fox called Swiper and so that means she's on drugs oh please tell me what age is this show for? She goes on adventures without her parents noticing and is an illegal immigrant oh please. Ever heard of Rosie and Jim (for children under 6) why didn't John who owned the boat they lived on ever notice that they had disappeared or had came to life.

This is actually a guilty pleasure for me, ot is so stupid it is funny to watch, and it is hilarious to make fun of it, like the parodies. At the same time, this show is too overhated and there are worse shows out there, at least it is better than Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Does every non-living thing on that stupid show have to have a face and personality for the dumb characters to talk to?!?!?!

Dora asks so many questions to kids. They need to take a break. Know what I mean?

4 Peppa Pig Peppa Pig is a British preschool animated television series directed and produced by Astley Baker Davies in association with Entertainment One, which originally aired on 31 May 2004. It went on a hiatus for just over two years before re-premiering on 14 February 2015.

What do you do when you're sad? Jump in muddy puddles! When you break up with your girlfriend or you failed in a test? Jump in muddy puddles! If you are about to be executed in an arabian apocalyptic future? Jump in muddy puddles! That is the only educational thing peppa pig teaches. It is boring, annoying and lazy and a bad example for kids.

She is a terrible role model for kids because she eats snacks improperly, bossy, annoying, plays in muddy puddles, George cries and the rest are nuts. I only watched the show just to laugh at the jokes and how bad it is when I was 8 (I am 13 now! )

Bring this to number 1! She is a terrible example for kids because she jumps in muddy puddles, annoying and bossy, George cries, and the rest are rotten terrible garbage. So we voted her as the worst show.

Haha the yank shows got higher than this. Barney & Dora. Maybe Americans suck at making television shows now and that's why people think baby shows have dumb.

5 Teletubbies Teletubbies is a British pre-school children's television series created by Ragdoll Productions' Anne Wood CBE and Andrew Davenport, who wrote each of the show's 365 episodes. It is owned by Canadian Studio WildBrain, which is the largest independent Children's and Adolescent's Film Studio

If you think this is like a horror movie well did they secretly have fangs and was the tubby custard made out of the rabbits hearts?
They didn't worship the sun. Come on they behaved like toddlers, so baby in the sun.
How many kids had learning problems, speech after watching this? Like people claimed would happen after it was made.
The show was cute, silly.
oh the toddlers didn't learn anything? Ok it didn't have counting or the alphabet but it had learning friendship, having fun. Kids don't have to learn from television shows.

Obviously age is a reason for hating the show.
The show would bore you to death watching it.
I liked it when I was younger but now watch a new episode and boring *change channel*
It's just 4 creatures doing silly things and watching videos of toddlers doing stuff. Now they have baby Teletubbies and even if they look cute probably more boring.

I actually find this less creepy than Barney since at least the Teletubbies are not pedophiles, plus, this show is for toddlers. This show is not that awful for a toddler show, it is normal.

This show is dead, its nowhere as popular as in the 90s. "Oh you want a Teletubby doll sorry we are sold out" - 90s. *In a shop, oh look a Teletubby doll* - now

The last episode was 4th November 2016. (I have read the episode list on Wikipedia and episodes came out quicker in the 90s)

6 Yo Gabba Gabba! Yo Gabba Gabba! is an American live action/puppet children's television show starring five costumed toys-come-to-life and their friend DJ Lance Rock.

This show is actually decent, I used to watch this all the time. The guests in this show are cool, especially The Aquabats(Travis Barker's former band). People hate this mainly for the puppets, but the show is decent. Only a few of the songs can get a bit annoying, but other than that, it is alright for a kids show.

I liked it when I was little but always hated the green one (Don't know his name) because he mopes around and cries over EVERYTHING!

What is this one?

7 Nina Needs to Go "Nina Needs to Go!" is an American animated series of shorts that aired on Disney Junior, beginning in February 2014. The series follows the titular character, 4-year-old Nina, as she visits a variety of settings such as the zoo and the beach.

In each location, Nina becomes so engrossed in play that she finds she "needs to go" to the bathroom. The mission then becomes getting her to the bathroom... read more

The only thing this show teaches is the importance of going to the bathroom.

Nina has a big blatter problem I tell you BIG!

More like Nina needs to hoe.

8 Doc McStuffins Doc McStuffins is an American-Irish animated children's television series produced by Brown Bag Films.

Not a bad show for kids, I respect that, the only thing I don't like is the songs. But come on, this show is for kids and it is not bad for a kids show, this is actually decent.

It's fine at least its about compassion!

I don't mind it

9 Mickey Mouse Club House

The show is too colorful that it almost gives me a seizure like The Problem Solverz. However, it is not an awful show, but it did ruin Mickey Mouse.

Right after you say "Oh Toodles" they need another mouskatool and they ask you "What do we say when we need help? " It made Mickey Mouse look like a fool.

This is a ripoff to the original Mickey Mouse! I loved it, no I said Loved not Loved, I SAID LOaThEd it, Darn you AutoCorrect

Do you get the difference between spin-off and rip-off?

10 Mike The Knight Mike the Knight is a Canadian/British/American animated television series created by Alexander Bar and written by Marc Seal.

Mike the Knight should take off his Halloween costume, stop looking like some crappy bobblehead figure and do normal things like going to school.

The Contenders
11 Boohbah Boohbah is a British children's television programme created by Anne Wood. It premiered on 14 April 2003 on ITV in the United Kingdom, followed by its Nick Jr.

Anne Wood who had become so high after making Teletubbies arrived 2 hours late for her meeting about a new preschool show. "Anne! Anne! where the hell have you been?!?! " "Ok, Anne the Tweenies had finished last year, which had been our rival show."
"YAY" yelled Anne like a little kid. "Anne, what ideas have you got for a new show? " "Well I saw these critters- "Critters, didn't you say this in 1997 is this a new Teletubbies." "NO! " "Ok let her talk" said the nutty man who still hadn't been sacked. "I saw these critters they where called Boohbahs." "Boo-what? " "Yeah like a comet, fat aliens, squeak and synchronise dance." "Ok, ok and what are their names these Boo? " "Zumbar the purple one, Humbar the yellow one, Jumbar the blue one, Zing Zing Zingbar the orange one and Jingbar the pink one."
"Ok Anne we will see if the Boo show works."
Everyone except for the nutty one, starts to laugh.

Okay, this show is as bad as Barney, like I said, I am fine with kids shows, but this is awful. Those weirdos are creepy and cannot dance, and it is boring too, I don't see anything that I think will entertain kids.

I can't believe this was by Anne Wood who made Teletubbies and before that Rosie and Jim, Tots T.V., Brum. I thought she had made The Tweenies not these weirdos. To go back to more human characters.

Sucks, as bad as Boku No Pico, Secret Mountain Fort Awesome, BOTDF, and Where The Dead Go To Die. The worst in the baby show category.

12 Sofia the First Sofia the First is an American computer-animated television series that features a commoner joining the royal family as a princess.

For kids, this is actually good and somehow entertaining. I don't find this entertaining to me because I am older and obviously these shows are not for me, but for kids, this is a good show and I know kids like this. It is not creepy and stupid.

Sofia is WAYYY too much of a Mary Sue, plus she appears to be selfish. Avoid.

This show isn't that horrible however it does have its flaws I don't think it should be on this list

I like this one

13 Paw Patrol PAW Patrol is an Canadian animated television series created by Keith Chapman. It is produced by Spin Master Entertainment with animation provided by Guru Studio. In Canada, the series is primarily broadcast on TVOKids, which first ran previews of the show in August 2013. The series first aired on Nickelodeon in the United States on August 12, 2013. ...read more.

UGH! Paw Patrol, wow! I cannot believe like really, this show is just about a bunch of dogs who must save the day, how stupid is that? Really, what the heck? That's why I hate this show. I can't believe Keith Chapman creates this show. "Paw Patrol, we're on a roll." - No, that show has none of that. I already did a rant on this show, so yeah. Screw Paw Patrol, more like "Penis Patrol" if you ask me.

This show is stupid. Before school in the morning, I used to watch spongebob. I got to watch a few episodes of Spongebob, but then this stupid show would come on T.V.. It annoyed me because the song for the opening credits of this show was repetitive and annoying. I always turned the T.V. off after this show came on in the mornings.

Good thing haven't seen Even a little bit of this show because it looks so bad. Shows about talking dogs that don't live in post-apocaliptic anthropomorphic animal world Are anyway destined to suck. Disclaimer: If this show was about BADGERS with exactly Same proffesions AS these dumb mutts, maybe I could Even be drawn to it

Not an awful show, but very overrated. I cannot go anywhere without seeing something Paw Patrol related. The merchandise is everywhere, please stop marketing this show too much.

14 Bubble Guppies Bubble Guppies is an American-Canadian animated television series targeted at preschoolers, which premiered in 2011. Created by Jonny Belt and Robert Scull, the show takes place in an underwater classroom and educates children about various subjects through songs and sketches. With its colorful characters and interactive format, Bubble Guppies has become popular among young viewers. The show has received several awards and nominations for its educational content and creative approach.

This show ripped off The Little Mermaid which is a good movie, because they sang a stupid theme song that makes my head hurt a lot! I hate this show! It gives me a headache! So don't watch it, ok...?

On another list, someone said it wouldn't even interest a toddler. I agree with them. I thought it was stupid when I was a little kid.

I hate this show so much

15 Pocoyo Pocoyo is a Spanish animated television series targeted at preschool children. Created by Guillermo García Carsí, the series debuted in 2005 and features a young boy named Pocoyo exploring the world around him. The show uses simple and colorful animation and is known for its educational themes, focusing on friendship, curiosity, and adventure. Pocoyo has won multiple awards and is celebrated for its engaging storytelling and visually striking animation.

This is one strange show, the characters do not even talk, and there is no background, just some objects, that is it. What kind of world is that? This is the weirdest show ever.

I liked it when I was very young.
Now it's these weird kid, duck and elephant thingys.

Why is this on the list

16 Team Umizoomi Team Umizoomi is an American computer-animated musical children's television series with an emphasis on preschool mathematical concepts, such as counting, sequences, shapes, patterns, measurements, and comparisons.

I hate this show so much! I hope one of the stupid children cameos throws a bomb at the characters!

This series is kinda boring, I only watched some episodes and got bored of it real quick.

They don't even know what 2 + 2 is. It's 4, and we all know it!

It's very cheap and every time my immature bros watch it, I want to punch the T.V.

17 Dinosaur Train Dinosaur Train is an American/Canadian/Singaporean children's animated series created by Craig Bartlett, who also created Hey Arnold!. The series features a curious young Tyrannosaurus rex named Buddy who, together with his adopted Pteranodon family, takes the Dinosaur Train to explore his time period, and have adventures with all kinds of dinosaurs. It is produced by The Jim Henson Company in association with Media Development Authority, Sparky Animation, FableVision, and Snee-Oosh, Inc. It is the second show by The Jim Henson Company to use CGI animation (the first of which was Sid the Science Kid).

Well I used to watch Dinosaur Train but I hated Don. He thinks Dad is hiding under a tiny rock and he flies like he has a broken wing. He trips over everything and always annoys the other pteranodons. Don the Bottom!

It's very educational for any age. The facts are accurate.

18 Thomas The Train

I thought it was Thomas The Tank Engine and that is a classic cartoon, everyone watched it when they was little.

This is plane stupid, get it? By the way I said I loathed it on the MickeyMouse ClubHouse one, I I fact hated it

They ruined my favorite old kid's show by making it CGI.

I used to like this, but then CGI came in...

19 Sid The Science Kid Sid the Science Kid is an American half-hour CGI animated series that aired on PBS Kids from September 1, 2008 to March 25, 2013, with a total of 68 half-hour episodes produced over two seasons. The computer generated show is produced by The Jim Henson Company and then-PBS member KCET in Los Angeles, California using the Henson Digital Puppetry Studio. The show is produced by motion capture which allows puppeteers to voice digitally animated characters in real time. Production began in the fall of 2008 with 42 half-hour episodes of Sid the Science Kid having been ordered. The series debuted on PBS Kids along with Martha Speaks on September 1, 2008, with a two-year on-air commitment. The original ...read more.

This is a kids show that sucks, in fact, this is one of the kids shows I hate the most. The characters are ugly and have worms as hair, they look like aliens and Medusa's relatives. And the songs are beyond horrifying, they almost sound like BOTDF songs, and Sid can't sing at all, his voice makes my ears bleed. Admittedly, it does teach some good things, but the art and the songs ruin a show and make it awful, it could have been better. Even kids don't find this entertaining.

I think it's called Sid the Science Kid because Sid is a government science experiment, which explains why he has yellow skin and blue hair like he's some Marge Simpson wannabe.

The characters look like they are made of Play Dough.

More like Sid the science sloth.

20 In the Night Garden

Looks kinda cute but I'm sure most people on here are way past the age for this show.

They talk garbage

21 VeggieTales VeggieTales is an American series of direct-to-video children's computer animated films created by Phil Vischer and Mike Nawrocki featuring antropomorphic fruits and vegetables in stories conveying moral themes based on Christianity

I used to watch this show when I was 2 with Toni, but now I'm 16! I hate this show! I hope it get's cancelled right now!

In a kindergarten class when I was quite young I watched this, and I liked it back then.

22 Dora & Friends Into The City
23 Little Bill Little Bill is an American animated children's television series produced for Nick Jr. The stories are based on Bill Cosby's Little Bill book series, set in Philadelphia, and feature Bill Jr.

I love this show! Why is this on here? It taught real morals and Bill's imaginations are cool. And the art and music is nice too. I could relate to Bill a lot.

This show ticked me off.

It wasn't that bad...

24 Nanalan'
25 The Chica Show

I never liked this show, when I saw it, I thought it was boring.

The noise from Chica is horrible and will make babies deaf.

A ripoff to baby Einstein!
