Worst Band Member Replacements

The Top Ten
1 Robin Finck for Slash - Guns N’ Roses
2 Kenney Jones for Keith Moon - The Who
3 Blaze Bayley for Bruce Dickinson - Iron Maiden

No way, this was a very good replacement. Some earlier songs even sounded better with him live (Afraid to Shoot Strangers). It was a good idea that they didn't choose a similar voice, otherwise people would have thought it's a Bruce wannabe. He didn't really fit the band's former style, but I highly prefer the studio version of his songs to the live ones with Bruce. I also think his singing is easier to listrn to for non-metsl fans. Nobody would have a problem with Blaze if he sang in a blues rock band.

He isn't the world's worst singer, but the two albums with him are their worst. That has to say something.

Yes, this wasn't a good idea. There were better candidates.

4 Axl Rose for Brian Johnson - AC/DC

Lol I almost forgot Axl was in AC/DC. I think he’s much better than Brian Johnson though. Imagine Brian Johnson singing Guns N Roses songs lol

5 Mat Skiba for Tom Delonge - Blink 182
6 Gary Cherone for Sammy Hagar - Van Halen

I beg to differ

7 Dave Navarro for John Frusciante - Red Hot Chili Peppers
8 Ian Gillan for Ozzy Osbourne - Black Sabbath

I disagree but I respect your opinion. I disagree because Ian Gillan is a much better singer than Ozzy - bigger range, more powerful voice, more metal sounding voice, and so on.

9 Jay Weinberg for Joey Jordison - Slipknot
10 Robert Trujillo for Jason Newsted - Metallica

I disagree but I respect your opinion.

The Contenders
11 Mike Mangini for Mike Portnoy - Dream Theater

I disagree but I respect your opinion. Mike Mangini is a great drummer and I can't think of a better replacement.

12 Benoit David for Jon Anderson - Yes
13 Josh Klinghoffer for John Frusciante - Red Hot Chili Peppers
14 William DuVall for Layne Staley - Alice In Chains
15 Andreas Deris for Michael Kiske - Helloween
16 Adam Lambert - Queen
17 Vinnie Vincent for Ace Frehley - Kiss

Vincent was a decent guitarist, but he had an attitude problem and always saw himself as distant from the other three.

18 Paul Bostaph for Dave Lombardo - Slayer
