301 Portishead

Portishead has no business being on this list. Their debut album, Dummy, is widely regarded as the greatest Trip Hop album. It is also often included among albums such as Blonde on Blonde, by Bob Dylan; Wish You Were Here, by Pink Floyd; And Kind of Blue, by Miles Davis for best albums of all time by well listened critics and communities.

302 Papa Roach Papa Roach Papa Roach is an American rock band from Vacaville, California. Formed in 1993, their first major-label release was the triple-platinum album Infest.

Poor structure. Boring. Awful name. Last Resort is about cutting yourself. This band is awful for those reasons and more. - GREATEST

Can't sing, just a bunch of auto-tuned teenagers desperate for attention who'll never be like the "cool" kids.

Who likes these kids. Looks to me like a three way gone wrong

All their songs are pandering, which wouldn't be THAT big of an issue if the songs had some life and didn't put you to sleep!

305 The Little Stinkers
306 The Magician
307 The Emotions

310 System of a Down System of a Down System of a Down formed in 1994 as an Armenian-American Nu Metal group from Glendale, California . The band name is sometimes shortened to System or SOAD. ...read more.

System of a Down is amazing! Who the hell put it on this list!?

311 Rush Rush Rush is a Canadian progressive rock band that was formed in 1968. Even though the only founding member still in the band is Alex Lifeson (Guitar), the band is most well-known for their current members Neil Peart (Drums) and Geddy Lee (Bass, Vocals). ...read more.

My consolation for Rush being on this list is the fact that they are currently at 192. Personally, I love Rush. That being said, beauty (or in this case, good music) is in the eye of the beholder. A lot of people criticize Rush for Geddy's voice (an acquired taste, which I like) or weird/cheesy lyrics ("The Trees" especially gets some hate for this if you just look at the lyrics once), which is understandable. But before you blindly hate for things like that, you have to analyze the band as a whole. Alex, Geddy, and Neil are some of the best musicians on their respective instruments, and are able to perfectly showcase their talents without seeming boring or repetitive. The lyrics aren't your typical rock'n'roll type shtick, either. They deal with a lot deeper subjects than the norm, such as the pressures of living in the limelight, the death of a loved one, some mythology/space themes (which gets some criticism), and corruption in the music industry and world as a whole. ...more

OK, I guess people on the internet and especially this site have been voting only for bands they don't like not bands that are REALLY the worst ever. Classic rock bands are remembered for a reason; their music has survived time and was not forgotten like the real bad bands have been. Being popular doesn't mean being bad. Whether they are good at all is a matter of taste.

Having bands like classic rock bands in this list is ridiculous.

You really want the worst band ever? Look up the Black Out Band.

I really love this band there very talented and are the most popular band in rock plus who ever put slipknot slayer foo fighters and megadeth on here are no fun

I will bow to this band and blow them as soon as they start selling 'Rush' amyl nitrate stimulant bottles and drinks...I figure anyone spending so much on equipment to compensate for not talent ought to be outed as musical transvestites on speed anyway.

Total mediocrity in musical form. So weak and bland it's not even worth getting angry about. If someone likes this music you know they're dull as dirt and probably stupid to boot.

These guys are amazing in their time and still in ours and that alone shows their talent

Anyone who hates Bon Jovi can go and not be alive

Bon Jovi used to be a good hard rock band.

Overrated...can't make a hit even though there is no competition now...

313 The Offspring The Offspring The Offspring is an American punk rock band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1984. Formed under the name Manic Subsidal, the band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Dexter Holland, bassist Greg K., lead guitarist Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman and drummer Pete Parada.

Such an underrated band! They are really great!

Why is The Offspring on here? They definitely aren't the best band, but they are FAR from the worst.

Novelty act... Derivative... Silly... But still fun in a Disney does a "it's a grunge world after all" kind of way.

Worst ever? No. Not even close. The Offspring is absolutely amazing. Morons...

314 Nirvana Nirvana Nirvana was an American grunge band that was formed in Aberdeen, Washington in 1987. Nirvana disbanded after Kurt Cobain committed suicide in 1994. The drummer of the band, David Grohl, went on to start the Foo-Fighters, an alternative rock band. ...read more.

Nirvana should not be on this list. They are amazing. People think they were overrated because they know one song. Kurt, Dave and Krist are legends.

The only reason I still have some amount of faith in Humanity is because One Direction tops the list.

Are you kidding me? This band is great! They are one of the Greatest bands ever!

What is wrong with this generation?
They will never know what Nirvana is..

Why. this band is great - emilk

315 Suicide Silence Suicide Silence Suicide Silence is an American deathcore band from Riverside, California. Formed in 2002, the band has released four full-length studio albums, one EP and eleven music videos.

Something tells me a directioner put this here. Did you even know One Direction's Fanbase insulted Mitch Lucker's daughter after he died

Lay of Deathcore, its way better than those lame pop songs in the mainstream

Why isn't this number 1, scenes worship this stupid band just because their singer died of a motorcycle accident drunk... That's pathetic

Pretty good from what I've heard.

317 Paramore Paramore Paramore is an American rock band from Franklin, Tennessee, formed in 2004. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Hayley Williams and guitarist Taylor York.

This band doesn't deserve to be here. They are pretty good.

Hey shut up this is a great band

Paramore kinda sucks. I tried listening to some of their songs, but I found them really boring and dull. Not as bad as Good Charlotte or 5 Seconds of Summer, but pretty bad and Haley Williams has an average voice, nothing really special. - AnimeDrawer

Fuuck I accidentally clicked vote this is my favorite baaand

318 Evanescence Evanescence Evanescence is an American rock band founded in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1995 by singer/pianist Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody.

Slow and whiny songs. They do have talent, but throw it away. Their biggest hit "Wake Me Up Inside" is awful at the beginning with the soft whisper-like singing, but the chorus is amazing. Amy Lee also worked perfect in the Seether song "Broken".

Well bloody hell! Why is Evanescence on here? If they are really that bad, how are Bring Me to Life and My Immortal still playing on Top 40 radio?!

Plain and simple? They're posers. They shouldn't be classified as metal when they are really just hip hop with guitars.

There amazing that they make me cry almost

319 Red Hot Chili Peppers Red Hot Chili Peppers The Red Hot Chili Peppers is a Californian funk-rock and alternative rock band, that was founded in 1983. ...read more.

WOW REALLY WHY IS THIS EVEN HERE THE ONE OF THE ORIGINAL ALTERNATIVE BANDS AND they're GREAT TAKE EM OUT OF THIS LIST!

Funk Metal may be the most unholy genre of all time, their only good songs are their melodic ones that are basically just alt rock

No way, they brought METAL into funk metal!

Terrible music. Don't understand why this is appealing.

320 Dragonforce Dragonforce DragonForce are a British power metal band based in London, England. Formed in 1999, the group are known for their long and fast guitar solos, fantasy-themed lyrics, and electronic sounds in their music to add to their retro video game-influenced sound.

This band should NOT be here. DragonForce is so amazing and one of a kind. All of the members, current and former, are extremely talented. Herman and Sam, the current guitarists, are so incredibly fast it's amazing. Past singer ZP and current singer Marc have such strong voices and it's amazing how they don't pass out trying to catch up when they're singing to such fast music. Ex drummers Dave and Didier and recent drummer gee are so quick it's incredible. Frederic (current bassist) Adrian, Steve S and Diccon (former) are so good and they make/made their powerful music more strength. Vadim (current keyboard and player) and ex keyboard player Steve W are wicked fast pressing those keys as quick as lightning. It's surprising that none of these musicians get tired out after playing or singing one of there brilliant songs. Examples are Through the Fire and the Flames, Heroes of our Time, Operation Ground and Pound, Soldiers of the Wasteland, Where Dragons Rule, Fury of the Storm, Valley ...more

Seriously... Just kill me. If this is what metal has come to... Kill me. These screw ups can't play live. They're noise is repetitive like no other mother. And yea they suck - avenged7x

DragonForce is not good as it used to be because of ZP Thearth's disband from the group. Anyways, this band is so underrated that people call it overrated. Dragonforce will always be one of my favorite bands.
