Worst Cartoon Network Live Action Shows

Seriously? No one made this list yet? Anyways, many people might recall perhaps one of the worst moves to be ever made by the cable channel Cartoon Network: introducing live-action shows. In June of 2009, Cartoon Network introduced a new block dedicated to airing live-action shows called "CN Real". These live-action shows included programs such as The Othersiders, Survive This, BrainRush, Destroy Build Destroy, Dude, What Would Happen and Bobb'e Says. Many network executives and critics were not fond of this new block, as they felt that it alienated Cartoon Network's core audience of cartoon fans since these were live-action shows... on a TV channel meant solely for cartoons. Thankfully, due to low ratings, CN Real ended in early 2010, with Dude What Would Happen and Destroy Build Destroy being the last two CN Real shows to air until 2011, but these shows have since been cancelled.

All I can say is... the Snyder era (2007-2014) was a VERY dark era for Cartoon Network. Fortunately, in the late years of this era, new animated series such as Adventure Time, Regular Show, and The Amazing World of Gumball came onto the scene, helping to bring in new ratings for the cable channel and essentially making it great again with brand new animated content.

Now this list will be counting down all the worst live-action TV shows to have ever aired on Cartoon Network. And not only will there be live-action TV shows from the former CN Real block, but there will also be live-action TV shows that weren't from the former CN Real block along with live-action/animated TV shows as well (so expect shows like The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange to be on this list). That said, vote and feel free to add any live-action shows from Cartoon Network that you may dislike to this list if I haven't done so already.
The Top Ten
1 The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange is an American live-action/animated TV series based on the characters from the popular web series The Annoying Orange, created by Dane Boedigheimer and Spencer Grove, which is made for the television by Boedigheimer himself with Tom Sheppard for Cartoon Network.

I regret ever liking this show as a kid. The web series itself wasn't that great like Zach808 said, but this is even worse. By animated series standards, the animation is so cheap that it looks like the crew behind Where the Dead Go to Die worked on this show! Not to mention that the voice acting is horrid and the characters are so annoying! Then again, the main protagonist's name IS Annoying Orange, so what did you expect? Regardless, that stupid fruit's trademark annoying laugh is so infectious that I might as well be hospitalized if I were to hear it long enough! Honestly, the only character I liked was that Toby guy, literally the only main human in the entire show! I feel bad that one of my favorite stand-up comedians of all time, Gabriel Iglesias, had to appear as a special guest in one episode of this awful series. Even if the creators tried to cancel it off with a bang, I'd hardly remember it or even like it if I were to watch said series finale. Either way, let's just be glad ...more

I haven't seen most of these but they all seem really bad. But I'm voting for Annoying Orange because I have seen it and have always hated it. Yeah this show has never been funny and I don't want to be rude but every time I heard that orange's voice I wanted to chop my ears off.

I hate his voice and the show sucks. I watched it for literally no joke 10 seconds and started to feel sick. There suppose to look like fresh fruits but, to me they look like rotten fruited that talk

2 Level Up Level Up is a live-action television series that was aired on Cartoon Network. A film with the same title, which served as a pilot for the series, premiered on November 23, 2011. The series premiered on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at 8 p.m.

The only sort of pleasure that I ever derived off of this geek-pandering piece of crap was that snake lady villain I saw in one episode. Other than that, all the main characters are dumb and it didn't even feel like what a live-action show about MMORPG's should be about. The acting was pretty bad from what I remember and the movie that this series is based off of isn't really that great either. I'm just glad this got cancelled. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm planning on watching other animated media worth watching than this live-action POS, such as KonoSuba and the new Sword Art Online Ordinal Scale movie.

I saw an episode once. Never again. So boring

Neat premise, AWFUL execution.

3 Dude, What Would Happen Dude, What Would Happen is an American live-action reality series that aired on Cartoon Network originally as part of its CN Real block which aired a line of live-action reality shows promoted in the summer season of 2009. The show premiered on August 19, 2009, preceded by another CN Real series Bobb'e Says.

I wanted to say I disagree highly with you this show was on of the best in this era along with destroy build destroy I loved this as a kid. The broness people hated made it even more better for me. take these comments with a grain of salt this show was great.

Dude, what would happen if you aired perhaps one of the worst live-action shows to ever be known in the history of Cartoon Network? Well, pretty much, I've already stated the answer!

Dude, this show was awesome. I remember watching this and it was a good show. It just needs to be aired in a different channel. Am I the only one who likes this?

The moral of the story should be, keep a CARTOON CHANNEL focused STRICTLY on cartoons.

4 Out of Jimmy's Head Out of Jimmy's Head, is an American live-action/animated television series. It was advertised as the first Cartoon Network's series in this genre, even though Big Bag was what took credit, while also including some animated segments.

They should have just left Jimmy to die in the movie instead of giving him that stupid cartoon brain.

I heard this was from the same guys who wrote for Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.

It should have been called Out Of Jimmy's ass...

5 Destroy Build Destroy Destroy Build Destroy is an American live action reality series on Cartoon Network. It was an unusual type of game show, in which two teams destroyed a random object and built vehicles from it, and then the winners destroyed the losers' creation.

Man, I can't believe I used to like this when I was younger. The concept itself is pretty pointless since all you do is just destroy stuff, build something from the debris, and then have it be destroyed once again. Sounds like a waste of time and resources, if you ask me. The only reason I liked it as a kid was because of the explosions. Other than that, the show itself isn't all that great.

The only thing I liked about the show were the explosions, they just looked pretty cool but besides that it's one of the worst T.V. shows of all time.

I heard the guy behind this show is a pretty cool guy but his show SUCKS unfortunately.

This was worse than Dude What Would Happen

6 Incredible Crew Incredible Crew is an American sketch comedy television series, created by Nick Cannon for Cartoon Network.

Nothing but an awful rip-off of So Random!, which just so happens to be another bad show. Anyways, this sketch comedy live-action series just tries so hard to be funny and hip to the point that it's more cringe-worthy than most of the cringe-worthy content you see from Nickelodeon these days. I never really liked the show that much and it was overall just a stupid attempt to appeal to kids and teens through lazy sketches and ear-splitting songs with terrible lyrics and deplorable singing voices. It's so bad that I even consider So Random! to be better than Incredible Crew. Cartoon Network, whatever you do, NEVER MAKE LIVE-ACTION CONTENT EVER AGAIN!

I simply can't hate this show. It's very funny and made up a lot of my childhood. I want to hate it honest. I guess I'm just nostalgia-blind

I can't believe I used to like this diarrhea of a show when I was 8.

I think it could've been WONDERFUL if it was a YouTube channel.

7 Hole in the Wall

I heard this show used to be on Fox. So, why did it have to move to Cartoon Network?!

8 Tower Prep Tower Prep is a Canadian/American television series. It debuted on October 16, 2010, after the world premiere of Scooby-Doo!

I didn't even know this was a show until I came upon this while researching.

9 Brainrush BrainRush was a live-action game show on Cartoon Network, hosted by Lamorne Morris and, to a lesser extent, Sarah Karges.

Thankfully, I never watched one episode of this. Leave the game shows to Nickelodeon from now on, Cartoon Network.

10 Bobb'e Says Bobb'e Says was a live-action clip series hosted by Bobb'e J. Thompson that aired on Cartoon Network from August 19, 2009, to September 23, 2009. It was part of the CN Real block, and it is Cartoon Network's shortest lived live-action series along with BrainRush, both only running for six episodes.

Out of respect, this kid claims to know a lot, in that series.

However; "horses hate humans"?!? That's stupid; I'm pretty sure, that, it may be just that particular person.

In fact, there are PLENTY of heartwarming bonds, between horses, and humans.

No offense, Bobb'e, but you need to LEARN more.

I don't remember this show, but whatever it is, I'm glad it was short-lived.

Looks like a ripoff of Kid President

The least bad live action show here.

The Contenders
11 The Othersiders The Othersiders was an American paranormal reality television series that premiered on June 17, 2009 on Cartoon Network.

You would think that with this show being in the paranormal genre, it would be good, but I've never ever heard anyone say anything really good about it.

12 Big Bag

Here's a live-action show from 1990s Cartoon Network that literally NOBODY remembers. I watched this when I was little, and even when I was little I always hated Big Bag. THIS was Cartoon Network's first bad show.

13 Unnatural History
14 Hall of Game Awards
15 Survive This
