Top 10 Worst Characters from 2017 Movies
Unlike Riley from Inside Out where the movie tells us all we need to know about her, in The Emoji Movie we are barely told anything about who Alex is all were told is he's a teenager who goes to high school and has a crush on a girl and that's pretty much it, he's basically just a robot with no personality or identity and the movie gives us very little reason to care about him.
Is he even a character?
As I've stated before The Poop emoji had more character and personality than Gene ever did as a matter of fact they should have made the poop emoji the main protagonist at least it would have made the movie a little better which isn't really saying much.
What a very 1 dimensional and unlikable character. Oh wait that is every character in this god forsaken failure of a movie.
Nothing more than a Gru clone and another one of those family member characters who just exist for no real reason other than just for this one movie or T.V. episode.
His voice made my ears bleed. Also the rest of the movie sucked too.
He made Jar Jar Binks look even more uglier.
He's entire presence in this crossover movie is nothing but pointless filler not to mention on how much they try to make him look like the villain even though everyone who already saw the original knows that he's not the villain nor is he really Slugworth but instead one of Willy Wonka's men send to test the kids which only further's how pointless making him look like the villain really was.
Mr. Slugsworth was the most interesting and entertaining character in the film. I saw his song online and loved it so much that I rented the film.
Worse than gene
The mere fact that she constantly gets upstaged by the most annoying character in the whole movie Hi*-5 goes to show just how pointless her character really is.

Scarlett's pulled off plenty of interesting & relatable characters and it's best if we don't talk about this one.
Ben Affleck was awesome as Batman in Batman v Superman but Holy Smokes Batman did they they screw him up big time in Justice League
Who put a bunch of the Lego Batman Movie characters here? That movie was great...
He's by far one of the least interesting and most one-dimensional villains in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
The only positive thing I can say about her character in this installment is it's the last we ever have to see of her when they reboot the franchise.

Out of the characters in the remake Maurice has to be the least memorable unlike his animated counterpart who had more character and personality in the 2017 movie he's completely bland and does very little to stand out.
His lack of personality and memorable traits in this movie are so his daughter Hermione- sorry, Belle, can look better.
