Top Ten Worst Characters to Ship Sonic the Hedgehog With
Poor Sonic has been in more pairings or team-ups than you can imagine, and these are the worst choices of characters to pair him up with. Why just pair him with only one character?
Sakura Haruno is a fictional character in the Naruto manga and anime series created by Masashi Kishimoto. Sakura is shallow, annoying, obsessed with Sasuke that tried to kill her, no one should be shipped with her, Sonic deserves much better.
Chrom is married. We don't know who is his canon wife but it can't be Sonic because he need to produce Lucina to save the world, and it can't happen of he marries Sonic.
They can be lovers though but Sonic has more interesting options like Lucina

She has been described as ...read more. As a big hater of both TLG and TLK, Fuli would be a horrible ally to Sonic and it would be a nightmare if fans shipped Sonic with Fuli. Just because they're both fast doesn't make them compatible. Doggone it.
Sonic and Fuli will never be a couple, and it would be wrong for them to be shipped together due to being from different series and such. Needs to be higher on his list.

Not as bad as shipping Sonic with Fuli, but still... It gets into my nerves. Rainbow Dash is better off with Soarin, or heck, even Applejack.

Shadow the Hedgehog is a character who appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series released by Sega. He is an artificially created black and red hedgehog whose hover shoes propel him at extreme speeds that rival those of Sonic. I swear...every time I go on Wattpad and try to find a good Sonic fanfic, its ALWAYS about Sonadow (Sonic x Shadow) and it drives me INSANE! ALL I WANT TO DO IS READ A DESCENT FANFIC BUT NOOO, PEOPLE WANT TO SHIP SONIC AND SHADOW INSTEAD OF MAKING A FANFIC THAT doesn't INCLUDE A STUPID SHIP! I personally don't ship ANYONE is the Sonic franchise but if I read a fanfic that has something like Shadow x Rouge or Sonic x Amy, I'm ok with it because I makes sense and actually has some kind of proof the ship MIGHT happen in the video games, T.V. shows (i only really watched Sonic X...Sonic Boom...i refuse to acknowledge that it exists...), or comics. Honestly, people should just NOT ship Sonic and Shadow!
Thought Shadow was bad? This lech from the Archie comic adaption of Sonic is much worse (He made Fiona turn bad), and he's just another enemy to Sonic. Nothing more.

Metal Sonic is one of Eggman’s fastest and most powerful creations. Programed to be better than Sonic in any aspect possible, he can shoot electro balls, shoot electricity downward, do a boost, and make himself invincible. He fight’s Sonic each time he gets stronger, and when he gains enough power, he becomes the Metal Overlord. But he becomes an advanced phase of himself before becoming the Metal Overlord. And Eggman can’t keep him under his control all the time, which is the only downside about him. He can morph and shoot lasers, and fight Sonic no matter what, even when disobeying Eggman. Even when you are on his side, you must cry out for mercy when he encounters you. Same as Shadow, Metal is nothing more than a rival/enemy to Sonic. Not a love interest.
Just because they're both anthropomorphic animals doesn't make them a match. It seems that pairing up Sonic characters with classic cartoon characters is some weird fan's specialty when it doesn't make sense at all. The Internet these days...
