Top Ten Worst Characters In Star Wars: The Force Awakens

The Top Ten
1 Finn FN-2187 (Finn) is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. He first appeared in the 2015 film Star Wars: The Force Awakens in which he is a stormtrooper for the First Order who flees and turns against it after being shocked by their cruelty in his first combat mission. He is portrayed by English ...read more.

I didn't like him in the first movie and I continue to dislike him in the second movie. He has no point. They could have had a suave, clever character but he's nothing. He adds nothing. He ruins the other characters.

He hardly serves any purpose in the main plot. He isn't really good at anything. Poe is an awesome pilot, Rey is a Jedi, Kylo I'm not really sure about but his scenes were good, Finn should've just stayed in a coma.

Token black guy. Problem nowadays is that casting is done because of modern agendas. Protagonist has to be female, villain has to be white male etc.
Finn is a nothing character and badly cast.

A ridiculous character. A supposed stormtrooper who, in his own words, was raised to do one thing". Which, going from the actual film, was to be cheap attempt at quite unfunny comic relief. Never once convinces that he's been raised in a strict military group.

Even Han Solo had to tell him to bring it down.

One of the worst Star Wars characters ever.

2 Rey Rey is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, portrayed by British actress Daisy Ridley. First appearing as the central character in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Rey is a scavenger who was left behind on the planet Jakku when she was a child, and later becomes involved with the Resistance's ...read more.

She is a flipping Mary sue. This film is trash because of her.

3 Kylo Ren Kyle Ren, also known as Ben Solo, is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. Kylo Ren commands the First Order with a temper as fiery as his unconventional lightsaber. Ren first appeared in 2015's Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. Ben Solo, the son of Han Solo and Princess Leia, was ...read more.

How can hypocrites criticize Lucas' Anakin, but like this Kylo? It is like a spoiled brat who wanted MacPro but got a MacAir instead! Whiner with a capital WHINE! Were his parents unknown or slaves? Was he a slave as a child? Did the whole Jedi order reject him and ask him to spy? Was his mother murdered and tortured? Oh, wait his Dad was murdered by him, and for what? Not being there for his light saber brown belt performance? As a stand alone villain he sulks worse than Batman in Batman vs Superman. Nobody forgave that.

People hate him, not only because of what he did (not to spoil you), but because he's a whiny brat who loses control with his anger and makes fun of the dark side.

What Kylo DID may have been bad(no spoilers), he's still a great villain. Also, why are Finn and Rey anywhere close to top spot?

He is not a Sith Lord. It appears he is of the darkside cult, Ren. We do not know much about this --- once again thanks Rian Johnson

4 Captain Phasma Captain Phasma is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, portrayed by Gwendoline Christie. Introduced in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the first film in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, Phasma is the commander of the First Order's force of stormtroopers.

They acted like she was going to be one of the biggest characters, yet she has next to no dialogue or purpose in the plot.

She's going to have a big role sometime, but not in the force awakens. I think she will be better in one of the sequels

Was hyped up a lot, did absolutely nothing. Then came back and did even less in the sequel. Also, it's a dumb name.

I'd put her #1 honestly.

5 Han Solo
6 Maz Kanata Maz Kanata is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. Introduced in the 2015 film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, she is a CGI character voiced and performed through motion capture by Lupita Nyong'o.
7 Princess Leia Princess Leia Organa, later known as General Leia Organa, is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, portrayed in films by Carrie Fisher.
8 Chewbacca Chewbacca, nicknamed "Chewie", is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. A Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk. Chewbacca is the co-pilot of the Millenuim Falcon alongside his best friend Han Solo. Chewbacca was portrayed by Peter Mayhew in the Original Trilogy.
9 Poe Dameron Poe Dameron is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. Introduced in the 2015 film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, he is portrayed by Oscar Isaac.
10 Luke Skywalker

12 General Hux General Armitage Hux is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. First introduced in the 2015 film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, he is portrayed by Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson.

Can't stand his character. Sorry
