This lump of coal deserved to be lost for almost 14 years for a good reason: it's a horrid excuse for a Christmas special.

To quote the Nostalgia critic "Jar Jar and Howard the Duck are OK but this is what he personally ashamed of" this special is god awful and show never be seen.
Even Lucas hates it. And he thought Howard the Duck and Jar Jar was a good idea.
I showed this to my sister, who is a big fan of Star Wars. She had headaches for weeks. Only thing memorable about this is Boba Fett, and even when he appears, it sucks.
Yeah, that movie looks bad, saw the reviews and also, the characters look like they belong in a Cinderella mockbuster, the head woman looks like Cinderella's evil stepmother, the woman who got hired looks like Cinderella before she gets her dress, and her husband looks like Prince Charming. Now, I'm starting to wonder if this was made to cash in on Disney's Cinderella too.
To make a long review short, here is a summary of the entire movie, and everything about it, the story, acting, writing, animation and everything else. No, just no.
Never heard of it until I saw Nostalgia Critic's review... Yeah, either way, this film is as bad as the Star Wars Holiday Special.
If you think The Star Wars Holiday Special was bad (which still is) that is nothing in comparison with this turd.
Just looks like preschool characters and Frosty the Snowman. Oh and Barney is a pedo because of his silly songs and can transform into a toy.

A toymaker takes in a cricket as an employee because he thinks that having crickets in your house brings good luck, but instead his family's life starts to fall apart and he's forced to work for an evil Scrooge clone, who plans to put a hit out on the insect for revenge at ruining his chances to win a blind woman's heart. Ordinarily, that would make a sob bad, it's good quality film, but it stretches out FOREVER.
Why is this on the list?
When I was little, I couldn't even sit through the whole movie because I thought it was really boring. Nowadays, I recently saw it and it's the worst Christmas special of all time in my opinion. Sry guys but I didn't see the Star Wars Christmas special, but hey, I should feel happy that I didn't.
Why Frosty the Snowman, and Rudolph and Frosty Christmas in July on this list? HECK why a Charlie Brown Christmas on here that is good?

This special was a nightmare I mean character designs are bad they remind of the garbage pail kids for some reason oh I know maybe because their mouths are never fully closed and what was the plot in this special I don't know because there wasn't any plot god I hate this special and for those people who thought TMNT 3 and Michael bays verison were bad you haven't seen nothing yet until you watch this special and I agree the puppets in TMNT 3 are bad they look almost like seasme street characters some how and the reason for that was because the puppets were done by the Jim henson company but they did the first two and to me the turtles in those two films looked a lot like the ones from the cartoon and comic books except live action but this I don't even think it was done by Jim henson I think they just got some random company and probably that company didn't have the budget to move their mouths properly and just ugh I just think that this special is probably just as bad as the star ...more

How comes Frosty Friends is at #3 and this at #9. Elf Bowling is much worse in my opinion.
Why is this on the list, it's actually funny! At the "story about your legs?!" part, I died, I start to wonder why this is not a meme! And it has good actors in it like Kate Miccuci (voice of Sadie from Steven Universe) and the guy who plays Mr. Gus from Uncle Grandpa, I keep forgetting his name but found out he's everywhere! Uncle Grandpa just ruined him for me but I feel sorry for him because he was a great actor who was roped into voicing a dinosaur for this horrid cartoon.
Why is this on here?! I like this special. It's funny, creative, and you wanna know why they did this to Elf, this wasn't only adapted from the 2003 film with Will Ferrell, it was also adapted from the broadway musical adaptation of "Elf", if you haven't heard of it.
The live action movie with Will Ferrell was way funnier than this.
You can't expect this that great when it's designed for 2-3 year olds

I watched this special once on ABC Family (now Freeform) and I honestly thought it was the worst Christmas special I'd ever seen until I watched The Christmas Tree and Rapsittie Street Kids: Believe in Santa.
A christmas special so bad that I think Freeform and Ocean Spray outright refuse to acknowledge it's existence
I'm talking about the 2008 version.
I though it was okay the one thing I really didn't like was how insufferable Donkey is constantly harassing Shrek about Christmas coming up and later he and the rest of the fairy tale friends just barge in uninvited to Shrek's house for Christmas and juts take over.
Shrek the Halls is actually pretty good!
