Top Ten Worst Clone Characters in Mario
There has been a lot of clone characters in recent mario games, here are the worst ones.Also, Waluigi is NOT a clone.
Pink Gold Peach is a character who debuts in Mario Kart 8, where she appears as an unlockable playable character. Pink Gold Peach is the definition of how to not make a new video game character. It's lazy, a clone AND obscure! All mied into ONE trashy statue! Pink Gold Peach, or as I like to call it; Pink Gold Trash. This is exactly what Mario Kart fans do NOT want! And yet there are people who defends her! For no reason! They think she's a good character for... Well, they don't even have reasons. They jut like Pink Gold Peach to annoy smart people! Just because she was in a Mario game it doesn't mean she not a CLONE VERSION CHARACTER! She doesn't even have background. I would be ok if there was a game where Mario fights metal characters and Pink Gold Peach was the final boss and ruler of Garbage Kingdom. Actually just REMOVE THIS CLONE FRMO MARIO FRANCHISE!
It’s mind blowing that Nintendo gave us this pink gold pile of garbage instead of Birdo or Diddy Kong or Nabbit and so on. They decided to give us an obscure lazy clone character. Who in the literal heck wanted her? The fact that there are people who defend her in the first place is mind boggling to say the least

Metal Mario is a character that appears in both the Mario series and the Super Smash Bros, where he made his first appearance in the Nintendo 64 version. He's pretty similar to Mario when using a Metal Cap, but instead of being a transformation, Metal Mario is his own character. Metal Mario... *sigh*, AKA, Root of Clone Garbage. This is exactly why Mario Kart 7's roster was mediocre.
But do you want to know something more annoying?
People defend him! Yes! People, mainly some annoying Waluhaters (Waluigi Haters) who defends anything but Waluigi (Yes they choose PGP in favour of Waluigi). Waluigi was left out in Mario Kart 7 in favour of METAL MARIO! There was Waluigi Pinball as a retro track and Waluigi was robbed by a clone made of metal! And only a few Waluigi haters understands why Waluigi should have been in Mario Kart 7. Well,
He sucks but at the very least he was a power up in Mario 64 so he’s better than pgp. However he was one of the major reasons why Mario Kart 7 has one of the worst rosters in the franchise. I’d rather have Waluigi in the game.
Another reason why Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is bad. They left out my waifu Birdo in favour of ANOTHER GARBAGE CLONE! He was a POWER-UP in NSMB2! Statues are not meant to drive!
Baby Rosalina is an infant version of the major character from the Mario Bros . Franchise, Rosalina . She first appeared in Mario Kart 8 as a playable character and is now one of 5 baby characters in the roster, alongside infant versions of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Princess Daisy . Like let's be real this was only created because a bunch a little girls mistook Rosalina for a princess. Listen! Rosalina is a godess who rules and protects the universe and not a "princess in distress"!
Cat Peach, like seriously, at least she mews but seriously though! Yes, she's cute but extremly LAZY!
Who asked for her? Nintendo ruined a chance to redeem themselves for giving us pink gold peach and a lazy roster by giving us a character we want! But NO instead we get Cat Peach. So let’s see we have Peach,baby peach,pink gold peach,and now cat peach! That adds up to 4 Peach Characters in one game! Do you think that’s enough?
Only reason he's lower than Cat Peach is because he gives me nostalgia.

Dry Bones is a common enemy species in the Super Mario series of video games since „Super Mario Bros. 3“ (1988). After his first debut as a playable character in „Mario Superstar Baseball“ (2005), he became a fan-favorite and also got playable in other spin-offs of the Mario series. Dry Bones isn't really bad or anything, however, his FANBASE is! They always brag about how awesomne he is and always complain about Waluigi, don't you realize Waluigi is no clone but Dry Bones is?
At least he debuted in Super Mario Bros 3 and does act different from the koopas

Koopa Paratroopas, also known as Sky Troopas, Para-Koopas, or simply Paratroopas, are winged versions of the Koopa Troopa in the Mario franchise. They lose their wings when they are stomped or jumped on in the air, turning them into normal Koopa Troopas. Paratroopa isn't really a clone but she did appear in Mario Kart: Double Dash! and Mario Golf: World Tour so...
It deserves to be MUCH higher. Double Dash sucked.
Dry Bowser is the fossilized version of the main antagonist of the Mario Bros. Franchise, Bowser. He first appeared in New Super Mario Bros. on the Nintendo DS after Bowser had been dumped into the lava and was left with his skeleton. Since then, Dry Bowser has appeared as a villain in games like Super Mario 3D Land, New Super Mario Bros games, and similar titles. He also appears in some Mario Spinoff series, including Mario Kart. In my opinion he is awesomne! He has been my favourite Mairo character for many years due to his amazing boss battle in Mario Party: Island Tour, and of course his amazing look!
This character is non-canon. But if he beacomes a character I will definitely facepalm.
He’s not in any game at this point but If he comes into existence my head will explode.

Since then, she has been featured in many main-series Mario Games and many spinoffs. She has appeared as a playable character in Super Mario 3D World for the Nintendo Wii U in 2013 and is a playable character in the Mario Kart series and Mario Party series. She also has come into Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS as a part of the large character roster. She's just a fat Peach, so she counts
