Top 10 Worst CM Punk Moments in WWE
CM Punk is undoubtedly the true best in the world and not Shane McMahon who despite finding success in the WWE not everything was smooth sailing for Punk who suffered several setbacks within the company and basically some moments where Punk was screwed over in WWE.On that night Punk was told that not only would he lose his world title but he wasn't even going to compete in the Championship scramble match and instead would be put in an angle were Randy Orton would attack Punk and basically prevent him from competing in the match so they could put the tile on Chris Jericho as his feud with Shawn Michaels was hot at the time and Punk of course was not happy with the decision.
Long story short Paul Heyman wanted Punk to win the ECW title that night and Vince said no Bobby Lashley's is winning it and was furious at Big Show for wanting to go along with the plan.
On Punk's last night in the company Punk is eliminated from the Royal Rumble match by Kane who he eliminated earlier then proceeded to chokeslam Punk through the announce table and side note Punk was injured at that time, and pretty much was the last straw for Punk as he walked out on the company the next night.
After winning his first Money in the bank contract at WrestleMania XXIV then cashed in on Edge to win the World Heavyweight championship it was great to see Punk as world champion but the company never treated him like a real world champion as his first world title reign was rather disappointing.
As champion, he was treated like a total afterthought.
Vince's way of sticking it to Paul Heyman by having the guy he wanted to win the ECW title get eliminated first in the match.
Punks wins the match only to get blindsided by Kevin Nash and have Albert Del Rio cash in the MITB contract to win the WWE title.
Out of all the superstars to beat Punk for the title The Rock was the least deserving nothing against The Rock but he was a part timer plus the match lead to a rematch against Cena that no one wanted to see again.
Rumor has it Undertaker was unhappy with Punk when he told him that as champion he had to wear a suit in public and Punk questioned this since no one ever made Cena to wear one which angered The Undertaker who went to the WWE higher ups and not only that but straight up squashed him in the match and a month later he lost a dark match to R-Truth.
Punk was super over at that time and having him lose to Triple H on this night just hurt his push.
Nothing against Chavo Guerrero but there was no way that Chavo should have beaten Punk for the ECW title espcially since he would only go on to lose it at WrestleMania XXIV in mere seconds.
