Top 10 Worst Companies In the U.S.

The Top Ten
1 Morgan Stanley

Morgan Stanley can be a bad place to work. Goldman is the only finance firm in the top 100 places to work. Here, hard work is not appreciated, and quality takes a backseat to speed. Good people should watch out for second-rate old-timers still walking around. The company is racist. Forward-thinkers may get buried.

Not to mention, they're even known for dangerous, armed fire marshals threatening managing directors and their employees because of where they're from. That's not very New York. Benefits exist if you can find HR. Really, if you go down and can find them. There are many smart and high-caliber people around, but maybe they're going back to elitist hacking after the outsourcing recession where everyone was subpar.

How can such companies, which committed crimes and caused the Great Recession with many billions in bad mortgage fraud, continue to operate? Their history is even worse. They treat people terribly, and they treat their own people even worse. When will the bad influence end?

Save yourselves. This is not the company for you. They focus on blue-blood B2B and wealthy customers only. They take egregious advantage of people, and not just customers.

2 Meta Platforms, Inc.

Facebook/Meta has no customer service, limited features, fake fact-checks, and removes and censors the most important posts and articles. It's part of the system. They offer more truth than news stations or politicians, which isn't saying much.

Can't Facebook work better in the future? There are too many users chatting, which slows down my computer while I'm scrolling through comments and pictures. Additionally, I don't want to befriend anyone creepy or any acquaintances while on Facebook.

Like alcohol, drugs, and tobacco, Facebook has become an addictive and destructive substance that ruins lives.

3 Electronic Arts Electronic Arts, Inc., also known as EA Games, is an American developer, marketer, publisher and distributor of video games headquartered in Redwood City, California.

I once thought to myself, "A new Spore game would be cool," until I remembered EA. While I can't get behind sending death threats to developers, I wouldn't mind seeing the company crash and burn slowly and painfully. If BF2 is successful as a pay-to-win game, gaming as we know it will perish. EA is not the only publisher or developer that likes money. If they can do it, Activision, Ubisoft, and the whole bunch will undoubtedly follow.

Electronic Arts and all companies affiliated with EA are, in many ways, the most greedy, sleazy, and profoundly unprofessional companies in the world. Their customer service could best be described as "What customer service?" They are sustained only by the ignorance of consumers, who EA beats into submission with their imprisoning Terms of Service.

Outrageously greedy, with shameless evil tactics. They create conditions that encourage kids to gamble. Horrible, horrible company.

4 Verizon Verizon Communications Inc., commonly known as Verizon, is an American multinational telecommunications conglomerate.

Verizon could get you killed if they could. I called for State Police and they kept asking for a specific police department. They refused to give me a number, no matter how many times I asked and how many answers I provided, including the area, problem, and even asking what numbers they had. Now my kids are abducted. With luck and a good lawyer, Verizon will soon be gone.

Verizon could get you killed if they could. I called for help, asking for State Police Emergency, and they kept saying, "You have to be specific. Which one? There are so many." I said, "Any one, please give me one now! My children are in danger!" Verizon Operator: "But I told you, you have to be specific. I can't just connect you to one." This went on for some time. I died. All true except for the last part. My children are gone. With luck and a good lawyer, so will Verizon - be gone.

My experience with Verizon from top to bottom has been horrible. We have been treated like they don't want or care about our business. Our community has been forced to migrate to Fios for voice and data, and it has been one problem after another with slow or no response. I will give the cable company a shot.

5 T-Mobile USA

AT&T and Verizon Wireless are on top of the food chain, but T-Mobile is in total turmoil. As for the spokeswoman, let's hope she loses both wheels of her bike and breaks a leg.

This is legit, man! Their commercials are the worst out there. I wouldn't dare to watch one again.

6 Apple Apple Inc. is an American multinational technology company that specializes in consumer electronics, software and online services headquartered in Cupertino, California, United States. Apple is the largest technology company by revenue (totaling US $365.8 billion in 2021) and as of May 2022, and, as of June 2022, is the world's biggest company by market capitalization, the fourth-largest personal... read more

Tim Cook is incompetent and clearly needs to be forced to resign for his terrible business practices and the selling of defective products.

Apple! Why isn't Apple number one? I've never left the so-called "Genius Bar" feeling satisfied or even helped to any extent. Every time a piece breaks on it, even for example when the screen broke in my pocket, I had to repair it myself because Apple wouldn't replace it for a reasonable price. Their employees are extremely rude and try to justify their unsatisfactory customer service with corporate jargon.

If Nokia and Microsoft are here, Apple should be number 1. They charge so much for technologies that are almost three years behind the ones on the market. Their app stores are a joke and everything is overpriced there. The cost of replacement parts is eye-watering, and the system isn't even half as reliable as a Nokia. Try a Nokia out, I dare you!

7 Dish Network Corp.

I was told that to use their service at all, I had to commit to a 2-year contract, and they pull the money right out of my checking account every month. Two more months to go, and I will never be held prisoner by them again.

Nothing seems to work right. I'm having more problems with their service than I did when I had Time Warner.

They tried to cancel my favorite show, The Walking Dead, but that's never going to happen again.

8 Monsanto

Just read that the Bill Gates Foundation is a major Monsanto shareholder. They force their products on third-world countries through government policy manipulation to further increase profits. These products include Roundup, Glyphosate, and others. They also have major pharma investments and are forcing vaccines on the third world, creating potentially dangerous combinations.

Evil. Just evil. It's all about the money. They would rather kill to get money than have morality and make less money.

Pure, unadulterated evil. No regard for anything but profit.

9 Viacom Viacom is a global entertainment content company that specializes in television, film, and digital media. Founded in 1952, the company is headquartered in New York City and owns a variety of media networks including MTV, Nickelodeon, and Comedy Central. Viacom also holds Paramount Pictures, a major film studio. The company focuses on creating and distributing high-quality content across multiple platforms... read more

Viacom's copyright system on YouTube is terrible! They also shove celebrity gossip in our faces! Who cares? Viacom is the worst company and needs to be at least #2. Since YouTube is corrupt, I'm going on Nico Nico Videos instead.

If you think that EA is bad enough, then you will see the bad side of Viacom. The worst deed that they have ever done is removing MrEnter's channel on YouTube. It seems that Viacom enjoys pissing off people on YouTube.

Viacom is the reason why channels like MTV and Nickelodeon suck today.

10 JCPenney

Somebody needs to stop messing up the prices, or this mediocre company will go out of business forever.

The Contenders
11 American Airlines American Airlines is a major U.S. airline headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. Founded in 1926, the airline serves an extensive network of domestic and international routes. American Airlines focuses on delivering reliable air travel services, including passenger flights, cargo transportation, and frequent flyer programs. The airline aims to provide high-quality customer service while maintaining operational... read more

A horrible woman working as a counter representative was distracting another counter representative. This happened after he asked me to step up to the counter on Thanksgiving. She told me how rude it was to interrupt her conversation because they were talking at the time. She kept going on about how rude it was, and how I didn't understand that this was my first mistake. Her attitude kept getting worse until I called for a manager and asked for a complaint form from all the other reps down the counter.

What a bad airline to have people like that harassing and defaming good customers, even on holidays. I was very kind and patient, and I even paid for First Class only to be treated worse than I've ever been treated before. The other rep tried to tell her to stop but couldn't until I called for a manager. I got out of there as soon as possible since I didn't have time to deal with it. I will never use American Airlines again unless it's a matter of life and death. What terrible management with no control over employees.

12 AutismSpeaks

They harm the reputation of autistic people more than any internet troll ever could.

13 Google Google is an American multinational technology company specializing in Internet-related services and products. These include online advertising technologies, search, cloud computing, and software.

Stupid company that makes products. People are so stupid to buy Android devices that will slow down and crash after a month.

Pixelbook: Terrible performance.
Google Pixel: Poor quality and value.
Pixel Tablet: Horrible cheap tablet that lags and crashes.
Google Assistant: Stupid, useless garbage. It steals your data.

They steal your info! They make cheap, horrible products!

Awful company with an equally awful operating system. They don't know what privacy is.

Pixelbook: A shameless rip-off of Mac, with viruses and lagging. It's slow all the time.
Pixel Phone: Terrible value with a high rate of viruses. Very laggy and a stupid excuse for a smartphone. Abysmal in general.
Pixel Tablet: Just as bad as Google Pixel. Lags all the time and freezes. Horrible glitching and, judgments aside, a very high rate of viruses. It crashes like all the other three devices stated above.
Google Assistant: Useless, creepy, steals your data, and spies on you.
The search engine in general: Stupid when it comes to searches, provides wrong answers. Just search "Google is stupid," and you will see dozens of answers about it.
YouTube: Horrible video site that used to be good. Users are toxic.
Their services: Low-quality garbage, but the movies are nice.
Google Play: Had a decent layout but is now terrible. Allows apps with viruses to get approved. Full of viruses and allows rip-offs of games. It's a reason they get sued.

They also spy on people and steal their personal information! And it's constant! They don't even care about people's privacy! While their website is nicely simple to use, their products are horrible! Like I said, they spy on people and steal their info!

HOW CAN PEOPLE SUPPORT THIS EVIL COMPANY? LOOK AT "GOOGLE IS EVIL"!

14 Chick-fil-A Chick-fil-A is an American fast food restaurant chain headquartered in the city of College Park, Georgia, specializing in chicken sandwiches. Founded in May 1946, it operates more than 2,200 restaurants, primarily in the United States. The restaurant serves breakfast before transitioning to its lunch and dinner menu. Chick-fil-A also offers customers catered selections from its menu for special events... read more

Bigot company that refuses services to LGBTQ community and their chicken sucks.

15 Comcast

Terrible service, monopoly pricing. Comcast charges for things, then you can't get a refund to your account. Customer service is subcontracted out to other countries, and they tell you that your account has been credited when it hasn't been. Comcast is minting money because they are a monopoly.

This company also donated over 14 million dollars in illicit dark money via PACs to campaigns across the country to rig elections and retain their unethical and un-American monopoly. The customer service and deceit practiced by this vile den of thieves is unforgivable, and the FCC needs to dismantle this criminal enterprise.

I am constantly dealing with internet issues. The WiFi doesn't reach across the whole house. It's frustrating when I try to use the internet with my tablet, and I can't connect to the WiFi.

16 ADP

Save yourself a lot of grief and stay away from ADP. Their worst customer service is a horrible experience. Former customers recommend going local, where there are dedicated live people to talk to.

ADP offers the worst benefits and treats their own employees so poorly that they hate working there and take it out on anyone associated with the company. Why would anyone want them to manage their human resources? Stay away! The managers are on manipulative power trips, the company is cheap, they don't care about employees, and they're unfair. They never give any recognition and have really hurt a lot of people.

New Jersey is terrible, much like the rest of the pollution and harm affecting the people of New Jersey, America, and the world.

Paychecks are direct-deposited from Hell.

17 Cisco Systems

Cisco sold surveillance equipment to China to support tyranny and human rights violations. If you express your support for rights to Cisco employees, they may viciously go after you. This comes especially after the U.S. federal government shut down those sales and amid the human rights lawsuits now against Cisco. They are a major corporate human rights violator.

Cisco sells and installs corporate phones, networking, and video surveillance equipment in the U.S. It's not surprising that they were caught selling to a totalitarian regime, violating rights, yet they continue to operate in this country.

Disgusting people are more of a harm to the people of America and the world than their products, much like bad bureaucracies and politics. You pay more for that.

18 Microsoft Microsoft Corporation is an American multinational technology company headquartered in Redmond, Washington, that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports and sells computer software, consumer electronics and personal computers and services.

Microsoft ruined Windows. It seems they don't care about the Windows guys and only focus on the Xbox guys. They're like wasting their own money on video game companies instead of spending more money on new Windows 10 features.

Greedy, disrespectful, thieving scumbags that may resort to stealing your money if you don't cancel your Xbox 360 membership before being banned.

They literally ruin everything they touch and clearly don't give a damn about their customers.

19 Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide

Starwood project managers from corporate have called it the project from hell, giving it such a bad reputation that anyone interviewing who didn't say the same could get jumped. And if corporate heard about it, they wouldn't need to leave to get jumped. IT management was so bad, with COBOL/Mainframe coup leaders and many green employees, that anyone complaining would learn corporate was even worse and more dangerous. Marriott management should be better. It has to be.

Treat people like dirt. Throw away like trash. And then follow to the next employment to cover their malevolence. Bought because so bad no one good could stay regardless of pay and all the good people thrown out by some of the most undesirables throughout the world from Korea, China and Austria and importing from India for the massive illegal L1-B slave labor to replace and disparage Americans. Bought by Marriott but how to get rid of the rest of the bad ones who remained? Only a few good ones here.. and there. Years of painful mismanagement drove Starwood and their people into the ground making it a bargain basement non-hostile takeover once they could desperately find a buyer and not the sneak hostile takeover by China Royalty's Children at the last second only thwarted by the US federal government but costing Marriott $2 Billion. At least they saw the most senior bad influence executive management finally go after all those years of pain and changing C level people like underwear except the CFO who together with the Austrian 4th Reich Fuerher/CEO finally at the end descending into Wagner and Hitler's Valhalla, the name of their IT project built by those whom they fired so they could claim for themselves the now aged tech.

20 PETA

This is the animal version of ISIS. Oh no, EA made a rushed sports game. That is way worse than literally murdering a million animals a year. PETA should be the #1 worst.

Biggest hypocrites in the world.

21 KPMG

So much corruption and fraud, pays billions to get out of. Check wikipedia on all the improprieties. Headquartered in Netherlands? New Jersey KPMG Montvale known for threatening architects who would catch criminal insecurities in computer systems covering all improprietous subsidiaries - no control or standards across.

Every location is different and more corrupt than the last! Software consulting was sold off and then withered and died! Apparently, the same would happen to any other part of this gigantic collective hive.

KPMG is the worst accounting firm since Andersen. They committed billions in tax evasion fraud and paid hundreds of millions, and more, to defer criminal prosecution among the rest of them.

22 Walmart

This and McDonald's need to be tied for 1st place. Walmart is notorious for horrible accounts of labor abuse, child labor in China, and destroying local shops in every town in the U.S. McDonald's is responsible for making the people of America obese, using horrible ingredients, and shipping processed chicken meat to China to be processed even further. It seems that when people from other countries, including Canada, think of a typical American day, they imagine eating at McDonald's and shopping at Walmart. Well, at least that's my opinion. It seems like no one else cares.

With the destruction of small businesses through immoral practices, Walmart is by far the worst company for society. The employees of Walmart have a long history of being greatly underpaid, underappreciated, and mistreated. The majority owners, the Walton family, give extremely little back to the communities and people they exploit. Of their staggering combined ~$150 billion net worth, they've given less than 0.2% of this amount to philanthropy and charity.

23 Nokia Nokia Corporation (natively Nokia Oyj, referred to as Nokia; stylized as NOKIA) is a Finnish multinational telecommunications, information technology, and consumer electronics corporation, established in 1865. Nokia's main headquarters are in Espoo, Finland, in the greater Helsinki metropolitan area, but the company's actual roots are in the Tampere region of Pirkanmaa. In 2020, Nokia employed approximately... read more
24 McDonald's

My stepsister likes this place, but I don't. Here's a true anecdote: A couple of years ago, my mom, stepdad (who wasn't my stepdad back then), and his daughter moved to Pennsylvania. Apparently, during a visit back to their old state, my mom found a McDonald's burger patty inside a drawer. It had been left there by her boyfriend's daughter a few months before and hadn't rotted. This burger patty looked as if it were new and hadn't gone bad. It was gross. To me, this is a clear example that McDonald's burgers not only taste terrible (though I think all burgers are terrible), but they also aren't real meat. Thank you for your time.

Bad hamburgers make my entire family feel nauseous after eating. There are no more healthy salads, and not even grilled chicken sandwiches are available. It's a bad influence on kids due to the poor-quality fast food.

I'm not loving McDonald's as much as you people do. It has to be the worst fast-food company in America. One of my brothers got sick from salmonella after eating a rubbery chicken McSandwich. Thanks for creating this list, yo!

25 Westcon-Comstor

Forces Cisco monopoly on U.S. and U.K. companies and the world. Makes companies buy overpriced second rate networking and telecom with third rate software making dependent on overtrained technicians who couldn't get a job otherwise giving companies no choice and no way out.

Worse to employees. Managers abuse, harass and bully, avoid at all costs. New owner SYNNEX needs to make a safe place to work, same for their wares and protect people from their abusive vendors like Cisco.
