Top Ten Worst Courage the Cowardly Dog Episodes

Sorry it is so short. I just really like most Courage episodes.
The Top Ten
1 Ball of Revenge

This is the only bad episode of the show. Okay, I'll admit the idea to bring back past villains to kill Courage is a good one, but it was executed poorly. Eustace is beyond a dick in this episode, he tries to kill Courage over a blanket (if Courage accidentally did something to harm Eustace, then this would be slightly more believable) Also, the villain choices were pathetic. Katz and Le Quack were the only understandable choices but really, I didn't care for Cajun Fox, the Were-Mole has nothing against dogs, the Queen of the Black Puddle only wanted to kill Eustace, not Courage and the Clutching Foot died. What about Freaky Fred, Schwick, Mad Dog, King of Flan, Di Lung and the Space Chicken. Also, no one helps Courage. Muriel was captured, which doesn't affect the plot at all, and the Duck Brothers do nothing. Where are his allies like Shirley, the Hunchback of Nowhere, Kitty and Bunny, the Starmakers and Dr Zalost. That would've been awesome, but no. This episode is just a ...more

So this seems like a good episode at first, because all of the villains come together, but what they were doing together was just mean and bad. First of all, the groups leader was Eustace. Eustace is just so cruel to Courage that I can't stand him. Then, the groups entire purpose was to kill poor Courage. It's mainly just the villains trying to tourcure Courage for most of the episode. Then Courage's scream makes it so the group goes away. I mean what? He screams and it destroys the group? The only good things about this episode is that Courage stood up against his biggest fears, and Meurial wacked Eustace on the head.

Seriously, how can Eustace become allies with those who tried to kill him. The Weremole was just a stupid creature, Katz and The Queen of the Black Puddle tried to kill Eustace, The Big Toe took over Eustace's body, and Le Quack was just an idiot. The Cajun Fox was okay because Eustace didn't even appear in that episode.

The Halftime show was just a waste of 10 seconds, just to make the episode long enough, and I really hate the beginning when Eustace is complaining about not having a blanket, and doesn't even care about his chair. We'll, in Klub Katz, Eustace found Katz sitting in his chair, accidentally ruins it, and starts to kill Katz for making him break his chair.

Atrocity. How can they screw show continuity with this kind of stupidity? The Queen of the Black Puddle and Katz wanted to kill Eustace at the first place, how can he made them as allies? I always hated "star collection" cartoons, but this is the worst of the worst. Never watch it again.

2 Freaky Fred Freaky Fred is a fictional character from the Cartoon Network animated series, Courage the Cowardly Dog.

Am I the only person that found this episode annoying? I mean, it might be a little creepy (Which is a good thing in this show) but Fred talked in such an annoying way. Also, he was the narrator. And any was, what was up with him saying the word naughty all the time?

Didn't like this episode one bit. Fred's creepy smile gives me the chills! He even talked in an annoying voice! He also says the word "naughty" EVERY.SINGLE.TIME!

Dude, this is a good episode. One of the best of the series.

This is a good episode

3 The Last of the Starmakers

This is a sad, but very sweet touching episode. Please remove this from the list.

This is one of the saddest episodes of the series. I love it.

I found this episode totally BORING and not even freaky!

I'm done with this list

4 Cajun Granny Stew

Alright, this episode was pretty funny, but it was also pretty annoying at the same time. I watched season 3 & 4 first, so I might be a little biased judging a season 1 episode, but did it annoy anyone else that Courage talked so fluently in season 1? Well, this episode is where Courage talked the most, so of course I found it annoying. Also, did anyone else notice that the entire episode is pretty much a chase scene?

I really liked this episode. The only ones I didn't like were the mask and tulips worm.

I thought it was alright

5 Son of the Chicken From Outer Space

I put the wrong episode here.

6 Farmer-Hunter, Farmer-Hunted

It was still good

7 The Mask

This episode was just straight up cruel to courage she was just betting him up for no reason

8 Courage vs. Mecha-Courage

At the end of this episode, Muriel said that no machine can replace Courage. That assurance is totally meaningless, because in this episode, that is exactly was happened, and neither Muriel or Eustace were able to tell the difference between the real Courage and his replacement that was obviously a machine. I really felt bad for Courage, not only because he got replaced, but also because his owners who supposedly value him couldn't even recognize an obvious fake.

Di-Lung (weird Chinese dude) was really ANNOYING in this episode. All he did was make a mechanical version of Courage and humiliate him!

I also find it sad that Courage was starting to cry when he saw Mecha-Courage on Muriel's lap, it made me want to cry too. Di-Lung, on the other hand, he was just a heartless douche!

9 Perfect

The teacher that tried to make Courage perfect was such an idiot. I kind of found the weird curly thingy in Courage's mind a bit creepy, but at least he told Courage that "nobody is perfect", which really helped the moral a lot!

All the songs in this episode were bad and the teacher that tried to make courage perfect was an idiot. Also, the only good part of this episode was the blue thing.

Eustace's trumpet (the blue thing/creature) is why. Other than that weird curveball it's good.In fact the blue guy even helped it be good, it helped push the moral.

The only episode on this list that I did not like.

10 Remembrance of Courage Past

No this is good but sad, it explains why Courage is in the way he is and with humans: a vet took his parents away and sent them to the moon in an experiment. Courage gets sad and is taken to the vet where he sends the vet to the moon, realizing he has a new life with the humans (I think).

I found it pretty harsh when the vet tried to send Courage's parents into outer-space. Then, when the same vet tries to send Courage into space, he knocks the vet into the rocket, thus sending the vet to the moon, where he supposedly got attacked by other dogs (including Courage's parents)

The Contenders
11 Scuba Scuba Doo

One of the very few I didn't enjoy, I don't know, it wasn't weird like other episodes, it was full of color, it wasn't very funny and the plot was meh. it just didn't feel like a courage the cowardly dog episode

12 Car Broke, Phone, Yes

This episode was nasty I remember watching this when I was like 8 and I just found it so appauling. In case you havnt seen it, it's basically about an alien that sucks the kindness out of Muriels nose and the kindness looks like snot. So it basically looks like snot is being sucked out of Muriels nose and its just so gross.

13 Dr. Le-Quack, Amnesia Specialist

This episode made no sense. It's about this villainous French duck who impersonates a doctor. He goes to the Bagge residence, traps Eustace in the closet, and tries to attack Courage. He could've just treated Muriel's amnesia better than tying her up, tickling her feet, etc.
