Doesn't send the best message, I don't think, for a date night.

One of my favorite movies. However, if I were to watch this with a romantic partner, I'd make sure she's a cinefile or she's my wife.

As touching as it is, it will undoubtedly start a chain reaction of harsh truths about relationships and leave you feeling that any chance you have at resisting the eventual break-up is futile.

Unless you've been with the person for a long time, this one gets very personal and emotional to the point where you'll be wanting a shoulder to lean on. Not 1st-10th date material.

All this will do for your relationship is give you and your partner no hope of ever reaching this level of romance.

Just stay away from Ryan Gosling. This makes two bad choices featuring him.

Anything about divorce is bad. Great movie, bad choice.

You're not going to want to be intimate at all after watching this. Unless you want an illegitimate child after the 1st date.

Yeah. Creepy, abusive, obsessive, paranoid husband with a mustache? That screams romantic.
