Top 10 Worst Disney Animated Villains

Disney has some very great villains! These ones are terrible examples. Let’s talk about them.
The Top Ten
1 Alameda Slim (Home on the Range)

He actually had the ability to be a really good villain, and I mean it. He's built up to be this terrifying and careless cowboy that takes whatever he wants. Heck, in the beginning of his song he sounds just like an evil disney cowboy...until he lits up the night by playing a country song on his banjo. Why? He could've made the movie WAY more memorable. But no, we got just a cringe-worthy cowboy villain. Why disney, why?

Alameda Slim is atrociously awful! An absolute embarrassment! One of the worst villains in anything ever! What was Disney thinking? Alameda Slim is basically a cowboy and he has the ability to hypnotize cows by yodeling. This is something that writers took the time to think of! How did this get greenlit? It’s extremely stupid! He even has the worst song in Disney history! It’s almost as if someone fired all of the writers and replaced them with monkeys! Alameda Slim made me cringe every time he was on screen! Nothing redeemable about him! I get that they wanted to make him a more silly villain rather than a serious one, but they’ve done that before and it worked perfectly before! Just look at Captain Hook! They went out of control with Alameda Slim! They made him so unbearable! I hate Home on the Range! I think it’s the worst thing Disney has ever done! We’d be better off if this film never existed!

Makes Ratcliffe look like Frollo and Edgar look like a male Maleficent.

Haha, hater didn't find list yet

2 Morgana (The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea)

Wait! Ursula’s a great villain! Why is she here? Oh. This is actually her sister. Morgana! Who is pretty much an exact clone of Ursula! This is a terrible sequel and Morgana is a major reason why! If you’ve seen The Little Mermaid, Ursula dies. And she never brought up a sister in that movie but out of nowhere she all of sudden does in the sequel! This was pretty much their way of including Ursula in the sequel without including Ursula! This is lazy writing at its finest! Every thing about her screams Ursula! Except the fact that she’s thin. Even her voice is exactly the same! They actually got Pat Carroll to voice Ursula’s sister! It’s like they didn’t even try! Why couldn’t they have created an entirely new villain? The movie itself is pretty much a reverse version of the first movie. Ursula turned Ariel into a human, so Morgana turns Melody into a mermaid! And this is the first of two times in which Tara Strong becomes a mermaid! The other time is in that cliché, ...more

3 Governor Ratcliffe (Pocahontas)

I actually like him. At least he gave John Smith a semi-decent fight in the sequel, where he wasen’t ganged up on, and actually joined in the fight and clashed with someone himself. That’s more than say, Lyle Tiberius Rourke or Madame Medusa can say. And at least he went down fighting an actual man. These two fell to mice and a teen respectively.

He's greedy and wants to get rid of the Native Americans. That's it. He doesn't have any real character

4 Prince Hans (Frozen)

He literally did nothing throughout the film and he ended up saying he wanted to kill Elsa but then he swings his sword on Elsa, but it was only an attempt.

Watch him get voted up to number one. People only hate him because he’s from Frozen. Even though there are actually legit reasons why he sucks as a villain! His plan was to get rid of Elsa and Anna so he could be prince. This plan would not work. If Anna and Elsa died, another relative would take the throne. Like a cousin. And if he had married Anna, he still wouldn’t be able to take the throne. His plan makes no sense. I think the twist with him being a villain was very well done since it’s a way to show that you shouldn’t be too trusting of someone considering Anna was willing to marry him without getting to know him, but if had a better motivation he probably wouldn’t be so bad.

I don't know why some people find him charming! I mean he is just ugly and charmless bratt!

This is such a crazy villain

5 Miles Axlerod (Cars 2)

His plan is confusing and I get they were waiting until the end to reveal the villain but I think he could have been more developed characterwise.

6 Lyle Tiberius Rourke (Atlantis: The Lost Empire)

Atlantis: The Lost Empire is an okay movie. Not good or bad. Just okay. It has its moments but also has its flaws. An example of one of its flaws is the villain, Lyle Tiberius Rourke. Just the design of this guy makes me hate him. He was a surprise villain before Disney started putting surprise villains in almost all of their movies. Only difference is this movie actually had hints to him being evil. Just from the look of him, it was already pretty obvious. The biggest problem with him is that he’s so boring! He has gotta be the most boring Disney villain of all time! It’s been a long time since I’ve watched Atlantis. I don’t remember too much from it. But I remember how much I hated Lyle! Terrible!

He looks almost exact as McLeach, a villian from an earlier Disney movie, except that villian actually was GOOD! This guy's plan makes no sense.

7 Edgar Balthazar (The Aristocats)

Have you ever met anyone who said Aristocats is their favorite Disney movie? Probably not. Because no one like that exists! Balthazar is a butler, and the lady he works for says she will give her fortune to her cats when she passes away. And not to Balthazar. Okay. Who gives their fortune to cats? What would they do with it? Buy a bunch of yarn? Also, Balthazar attempts to get rid of the cats so that he can get the money. As much as I hate cats, this is animal cruelty. Also, he’s incompetent. He can’t do anything right! He even gets outsmarted by cats! It’s a known fact that cats are dumb! So this is just sad! Aristocats is a horrible movie with a horrible villain!

8 Chick Hicks (Cars)

He is the most overhated Pixar villian! Just because he didn't do much it dosen't make himbad, he is played by the brilliant Michael Keaton, I love him most because he is so GREEN! He has always been my favorite my aniamted movie villian of all time, also you, MegaSoulHero wonders why I put him on the best Disney animated villians of 2010s, I get it he's not a villian in Cars 3, but 1. He was too awesomne and I couldn't reject putting him onto the list, 2. He did act like a brat in Cars 3 and was hilarious in that movie, so, there you go.

"I only put him on this list in hopes of angering a specific person." That's me darthvadern right? Funny how you seem to dislike me while I seem to like you. Anyway, I haven't got triggered. Though I wish Chick Hicks got more attention.

I am not a fan of him, however I think Jackson Storm is MUCH worse than him, Prof Z, and Miles. Storm has 0% personality.

Not really a villain character. He's only an average rival

9 Shan-Yu (Mulan)

This is the worst disney villain I've ever know...like I hate the way the disney fans said shan yu was hedious because her eyes is creepy but I realized I am not scared of it so...bo bo shan yu your a looser on my opinion

He's evil that's it no personality whatsoever which is a shame because he could have been a really good character

A good mould for a villian but he completely lacked any personality and is forgettable

Evil but forgettable.

10 Bellwether (Zootopia)

I love Zootopia, but after watching it again I can see why people hate Bellwether. Jenny Slate is great in everything she’s in. She’s great in Star vs the Forces Evil, she was great in Lego Batman, she was even great in Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked despite that being a horrible movie. Bellwether is no exception. However, she’s not a good villain. She doesn’t really have much of a motivation for turning the animals into savage beasts. Also, I totally saw the twist of her becoming a villain a mile away. Disney does so many surprise villains that they’re becoming predictable. Moana did it slightly different, but even that was predictable. Moana was one of the most predictable movies I’ve ever seen. Zootopia only has one predictable moment, and that’s Bellwether being the villain. Zootopia is still one of my favorite Disney movies, but Bellwether sucks.

The Contenders
11 Mushu (Mulan II)

This is what I hate about sequels: an important character from the original becomes a villain for no reason and acts really stupid. Mushu from the first Mulan was amazing, but this version of Mushu is completely stupid. How the hell did he start from training Mulan to keeping her apart from Shang? He is exactly like the animated version of Jar-Jar and he was the one ruining Mulan II.

12 Ripslinger (Planes)
13 Professor Zündapp (Cars 2)

If he was the main villain instead of Miles, then maybe Cars 2, despite it's detachment from the other two Cars movies, would be considered a good movie.

He has a cool evil scientist character but my problem with him is that he's so minor.

14 Amos Slade (The Fox and the Hound)

Not necessarily a villain, he's just an ordinary hunter that's all.

15 Madame Medusa (The Rescuers)

How was this not already on here? She was a pathetic excuse for a villain, she was just a straight up bully.

The only thing she cared about was money. Why doesn't she just marry Mr. Krabs already?

16 The Duke of Weselton (Frozen)

I hate this movie with this idiot here

Please he's not a villain.

17 Jackson Storm (Cars 3)

I haven't seen Cars 3 yet, but I already love how arrogant he is.

Probably the best of the Cars Villains. Way better than Chick Hicks or Axelrod

18 Cad Spinner (Planes: Fire And Rescue)
19 Jangles the Clown (Inside Out)

But he's not even a villain!

20 Bradley Uppercrust III (An Extremely Goofy Movie)

Bradley was a terrible villain, he is horribly cruel to torture Goofy, and he only cares about winning. He's only in the race for hos image, but now everyone know's he's a greedy, cheeting, compulsive, dog thing that I despise. He is the only thing I hate about this movie, which is a FANTASTIC movie by the way, let's also not forget goimg has far has to kill for 1st place, and break colledge kids necks, Bradley Uppercrust may be deliciously voiced, but man o man do I hate him.

21 Chief O’Hara (Mickey Mouse)
22 Jade (Trains)

But she was an Hidden Antagonist in Walt Disney Animation Studios Trains(2021).

She is a green Chevrolet car.

23 Lotso (Toy Story 3) Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear ("Lotso" for short) is the main antagonist of Toy Story 3. He takes over Sunny Side Day Care and makes all the other toys work for him.

Why? He was a great villain!

24 Zurg (Toy Story 2)

He was only the minor villain, Al and Stinky Pete were the real deal.

Cool character.

25 The Wolf (Make Mine Music/Peter and The Wolf)

As much as I love this segment, the Wolf was just a useless villain
