Top 10 Worst Disneyland Rides of 2017MegaSoulhero If you think every ride at Disneyland is great, you're wrong!
The Top Ten
I'm sorry! I know everyone loves this ride but I can't stand it! It's just so annoying! It's torture! It feels like it goes on forever! That song is the most annoying and repetive song I've ever heard! It plays throughout the entire ride and in different languages! It's sung by a bunch of animatronic dolls that look like they want to kill us in our sleep! This ride isn't that bad when it's decorated for Christmas because the decorations look really nice and they sing Christmas songs while also singing the regular song. So it's not AS repetitive. But regular It's a Small World really gets on my nerves! Can you imagine the ride breaking down while you're inside? That would be scary! - MegaSoulhero
You think this is bad? Try Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout That one's really sucked, and it replaced Tower of Terror, which happened to be one of the best rides ever made, and GOTGMB is very unoriginal and shows how much Disney is focusing too much on Marvel now and is greedy.
Ugh, it's so annoying. - Cartoonfan202
No I love this ride it shouldent be the number 1 worst!V 1 Comment
In a park called CALIFORNIA Adventure, they decided to replace a ride called Soarin' Over CALIFORNIA! I loved that ride, but to be honest, I was actually kind of looking forward to Soarin' Around the World. And boy was it a disappointment! This ride has no reason to exist! It is just filled with terrible CGI and terrible scene transitions! The thing I liked the most about SOC was that it felt very real. With this one, it doesn't feel real with the amount of CG that's thrown in! Like the Taj Mahal scene for example! That entire scene was clearly fake due to the Taj Mahal's no fly rule! And as for the transitions, they are very annoying! There's a bird that flys past the camera, a kite that flys past the camera, a plane that flys past the camera, and some other things! It makes me miss the jump cuts! The music was also a huge downgrade. The only thing I like about this ride is the ending Disneyland scene. At least it's not decorated for Christmas this time. But this ride was a huge ...more - MegaSoulhero
You know, one of the rules for this ride is that you can't bump other cars. People do it anyway. Not by accident, but when you let children drive it's hard to avoid that. This is a ride that allows children to get a license before they're old enough to get a real one. Luckily the cars are on tracks because they don't want people getting into accidents. This ride is not exciting at all! Driving is already pretty boring so why make an entire ride that gives you an idea of what driving is like? Also, I can't stand that gasoline smell! They should really convert the cars to electric. They keep coming up so many pointless updates. They gave it a Honda makeover and they recently included ASIMO in the ride which makes no sense. But you're meaning to tell me they can't put in electric cars? I'm sure they have the money to do it! - MegaSoulhero
Apparently California Adventure received criticism for not having enough rides for younger children. So they came up with this crap. Basically, you ride inside Heimlich (pretend I didn't say that) and he shows you different food that he likes to eat. If it sounds dumb, that's because it is! The idea of the ride is just to show that Heimlich likes eating things! If you watch A Bug's Life, you already know that! All of the rides in A Bug's Land are for kids (except It's Tough to be a Bug which is awesome) but Heimlich's Chew Chew Train is pretty much an insult to children's intelligence! - MegaSoulhero
Honestly, this ride is mostly just boring compared to other river rapid rides. Although it's a lot more fun than Kali River Rapids at Disney California Adventure. The only exciting thing about this ride are the two drops. And that's pretty much it. Most of the time it's not very thrilling. SeaWorld has much better river rapids ride. That one actually feels like you're on a rapid. This one doesn't! Very disappointing. - MegaSoulhero
There's literally no point in going on this ride. It basically gives you a tour of the Storybook Land ride. It would make a lot more sense to just wait in line for the Storybook Land ride! Why are the two rides even connected? - MegaSoulhero
Because people just LOVE being up 160 ft in a cage that constantly swings back and forth and slides on oval shaped rails! I don't usually get motion sickness but this ride kind of made get sick. As I was up there I really wanted to come down. I felt like the gondola was gonna fall off any second. This is quite possibly the scariest ferris wheel I've ever been on. It should be called Mickey's Death Wheel. - MegaSoulhero
UGH can't STAND this Ride. It's AWFUL they ruined a wonderful ride.
Worst Ride EVER!
This is seriously the WORST ride Disneyland HAS to offer. It replaced Tower of Terror, Disneyland's all-time favorite and best ride, and it's so unoriginal and stupid, the theming sucks and doesn't fit with the thrill or drop sequence, yet the music they're playing is not Disney music, but pop culture music, and does Disney own the rights to non Disney songs? Seriously, Disney's sucked a$$ on this ride and no one is going to understand how wonderful the theming of Tower of Terror was if they haven't heard of TOT or how original and awesome Disneyland used to be when it was more original.
Moreover they're also turning Paradise Pier into Pixar Pier and planning on closing Mickey's Fun Wheel and California Screamin' which is one of the best roller coasters in the history of Disney.
2016 and 2017 are really horrible years for Disney, and Disney is caring too much about movies like Marvel and Star Wars now, and they're only wanting more money as they close down good rides and ...more
People might disagree with me on this because it's a kids roller coaster, but it's not a good kids roller coaster. You wait in line for half an hour only to ride a coaster that isn't even a minute long! And again, I know it's a kids coaster, but they could at least make it longer by having it go around twice! - MegaSoulhero
The ride itself is actually ok, but the reason I put it on the list is because of the line! I never understood why this ride always has such a long line! It's not even the best ride in Fantasyland! You wait in line for about an hour just to ride in a flying pirate ship over miniature models and animatronic characters that barely move and the ride is over. The entire thing is three minutes. After waiting in such a long line, the ride itself seems very underwhelming because you expect it to be amazing considering how many people want to ride it. It's a fun ride, but the line really ruins it for me. - MegaSoulhero
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage is the ride that replaced the original Submarine Voyage ride. It's pretty much the same ride except with Finding Nemo. I like the Finding Nemo theme, but it still has the same problems that the original had. You are sitting in a slow moving cramped submarine for about 15 minutes! This is not a good ride for people who are claustrophobic! And yeah, the submarines move VERY slow! The scenery is very nice and there are tons of exciting stuff, but the submarines move so slow that it takes a while to get to the exciting stuff! I liked this ride the first couple of times I rode it, but now it's just not worth it. - MegaSoulhero
I prefer the corny old ride. This thing puts me to sleep!
This ride is like 15 seconds long and there's like a 45 minute wait
