Top 10 Worst Episodes from Good Cartoon Network Shows
You know, when Jimmy Neutron had his own Christmas episode, he didn't believe in Santa Claus either and even accidentally hurt him at a major plot point in the episode. However, at least with Jimmy Neutron, he tried to help deliver Santa's gifts and finally believed in Santa Claus at the end. In addition, that Christmas episode ended off on a good note. With Dexter's Christmas episode, it absolutely fails to redeem itself. It did have a good concept, but the writers really screwed up how Dexter treated Santa throughout the episode. Not to mention the ending was lackluster and not comedic. Sometimes, I wish Dexter's Christmas episode was as well-executed as Jimmy Neutron's Christmas episode. All in all, this is probably the worst Christmas episode out of not only any animated series, but probably any T.V. show in the world.
I know that considering Dexter's character is that of the boy genius archetype, that he's obviously going to not believe in Santa Claus, but going as far as to air an episode where he literally beats up Santa Claus makes this the worst Christmas episode ever shown in a cartoon ever.
Jimmy slipping on a banana peel at the end of the episode wasn't enough punishment for him.
You wouldn't think The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy has any episodes in its entire run that sucked, but along with No Body Loves Grim, I can see why Sickly Sweet would be a good choice if a list was ever made counting down the worst episodes of The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy. If I can sum up my feelings about this episode in one question only, it would be, "Why does Mandy always have to have her way all the time?! "
