Top 10 Worst Filler Moments in the Pokemon Anime

Here are some of the worst examples of filler in the Pokémon anime, and If you don't agree with most of them then its fine its just opinions.
The Top Ten
1 The GS Ball

The GS ball Ash gets from The Orange Island season was just an excuse to get Ash to Johto where they take it to Kurt who is suppose to figure everything about the ball turns out he's no real help and The GS ball just completely disappears from the series and is never brought up again as far as I know.

I watched this episode and I thought this idea was pretty cool. They could've done something with it but instead they dropped it altogether.

Was meant for something important but they changed their mind on the matter, so it did not happen.

2 Beauty and The Beach

I was watching season 1 of Pokemon on YouTube and when I came across this episode I was like what. I was wondering why it was ever allowed to play on T.V. or why it was even made in the first place until years later I saw a Watchmojo video on banned Pokemon episodes. This should be #1. At least the GS ball idea didn't involve broadcasting porn to 8-12 year olds.

In a completely out of place episode they hold a swimsuit competition for no reason and it has James wearing inflatable breast which is why the episode was banned.

3 Ash, Misty and Brock Help Make a Movie

During this time where Ash is suppose to be training for the Pokémon League he ends up becoming easily distracted he, Misty and Brock end up helping a director make his movie then the next episode along with Ash's mom Delia get invited to the premier and it turns out the movie was a flop, what a waste of an episode.

4 The Ultimate Test

Another very pointless episode that does nothing to further the story, how can anybody tell that shadowy thing is suppose to be a Jigglypuff, I think Jessie pretty sums it up by when she says this test is a waste of time.

5 Ash, Brock and Dawn Get Stopped by a Trio of Psyduck

While making their way to the next city they are stopped by a trio of ridiculously powerful Psyducks blocking their way.

Does... this even count as filler, though? It’s virtually a direct adaptation of what happens in the games. In DPPt, you will be roadblocked by a bunch of ducks who prevent you from going to the later half of route 210, possibly so you get the Surf HM later. Can’t say it’s filler if they were doing what they were supposed to.

6 Ash Goes to School (Sun and Moon)

Ash already knows all he really needs to know about Pokémon why does he need to go to school for, pretty much all of Sun and Moon so far has just been filler.

7 Meowth Rules!

Meowth is deemed a god and treated by like royalty by the island people nothing special or memorable.

8 Pokémon Ping Pong

I really see no reason for this episode, the gang get involved in a Pokémon Ping Pong tournament it was totally pointless and we see Ambipom leaving Dawn to go train for Pokémon Ping Pong.

9 May Becomes a Coordinator

I know a lot of people will disagree with this entry but I have my reasons May becomes a coordinator purely out of the blue The Pokémon contests during Hoenn and Kanto just felt like nothing but filler and at times no very interesting, at least with Dawn in Shinnoh did a little better with it and they were able to balance Ash's Gym Battles and Dawns Contest Battles.

I personally thougt the contest battles during the Hoenn saga felt like nothing but filler it was improved in Sinnoh.

10 Serena Becoming a Pokémon Performer

I personally don't think its all bad but I know a lot of people would put this on the list so I'm putting it here, though it is a decent idea for Pokémon showcases it still feels like nothing but filler and worst Serena's journey as a Pokémon Performer doesn't start until the second season of Pokémon XY.
