Melissa Marie Benoist is an American actress and singer. She is known for her portrayal of the title character in the CBS/CW superhero drama series Supergirl. Just because you don't like Marley, that doesn't mean that Melissa is a bad actress.
^For me it was the opposite. I liked Marley, but I think Melissa Benoist is a mediocre actress.

Her character on the show annoyed me at times especially in season two, but Gwyneth is a fantastic actress.
