Worst Glee Characters

The Top Ten
1 Rachel Berry Rachel Barbra Berry is a fictional character and de facto female lead from the Fox musical comedy-drama series Glee.

I think Rachel Berry is an over privileged, selfish, ignorant, annoying, over dramatic, undeserving, and all around horrible person. Her voice is sub-par at best and she stays in the spotlight way to much, when there are so many with better talent than her in the show. Watching Glee I've seen practically everything handed to Rachel Berry on a silver plater when she has no talent. Frankly I cheered when she failed in the beginning of season six, even if it was short lived. Her character in my opinion is unrealistic, to much was handed to her and she never grew up. To be blunt, I would never have called the show Glee, I would have called the Rachel Berry show or Rachel Berry and the back ups, because it's not really about the club, it's mostly about an attention seeking girl who in my eyes has no talent, gets everything handed to her, and if she doesn't like something or it doesn't go exactly her way, she throws a hissy fit and breaks up friendships. I would have liked to see her grow ...more

Rachel's personality is abrasive. She cares very little about anything but herself, She thinks that she is a better PERSON than she is. Yes she has a good voice but her character constantly "rises above" by stepping on others. I just can't get behind that..She claims to look out for the interests of her team but she is constantly swirling drama everywhere, hogging the spotlight and walking away when she doesn't get her way. The only positive thing about her that I can find is that her character went through some character development and by season 6 she was (almost) tolerable. To be clear though, I don't know like anything about Lea Michelle so I have no opinion on her personally.

I honestly have got to the point (Season 5! ) where I can't bear to watch her any longer. She is one of the most selfish characters I've ever seen and is literally only happy when she gets what she wants and is on top. Why do the writers of the show love her so much and give her all the solos and good breaks and she always wins? Even when she is knocked down a peg or two (thank you Santana! ) it only ever lasts for a few minutes or an episode at most. She is just totally unbearable. Kurt, Mercedes, Santana and even Britney are just so much more talented. Britney is the most amazing dancer, Rachel is just average at best. Why is she always in the spotlight? She just likes to throw a few crumbs to her friends, but is never really pleased for them unless she has something even better in hand. Quinn's character development was just so much more interesting, I'd have much preferred to see more focus on her. Or Santana. Or Kurt. Or Britney. Or Mercedes. Or just about anyone.

I think Rachel is selfish, arrogant, extremely annoying and a drama queen. When people did not benefit her schemes and dreams, she was ready to drag them down and manipulate them, such as when Finn wanted to join the football team again in season 2 but she wanted him to drop it for glee club so she could feel socially equal to him. She also did not accept that Finn's dream differed from what she wanted for him, and eventually cheated on him in New York with Brody. Rachel selfishly spilled the truth about who the father of Quinn's baby was so Finn would break up with her and date Rachel, even though it was not her business and Quinn would maybe have told Finn eventually anyway. Rachel also threatened to quit and acted bratty when she was not given EVERY single solo. The character of Rachel was loved too much by the producers and directors. I will not deny that Rachel was extremely talented, but she was given way too many solos even though girls like Santana, Mercedes, Tina, and Quinn ...more

2 Will Schuester

He really is the worst. He doesn't only treat his students bad but everyone around him. E.g. when he found out about the fake pregnancy, he got physically abusive. He rarely has an ear for what Emma needs or wants... he is just a jerk. But he thinks he is the most awesome guy in the world. He even "sacrificed" himself and kissed beast out of nothing. And I want to quote an other comment here because it captures my feelings very well: "He is so repulsive and inappropriate with the kids. Any time he gets emotional, dances or sings I want to punch him in the face."
While Rachel is arrogant and annoying, he is a racist macho. The only question is: why does a show produce a character like this?

He is so annoying because he only does the songs that he wants to do. The only time where the kids did a song where Will wasn't involved with the decision is the season 1 sectionals, and that was because he wasn't allowed to. They still won, and they did it all by themselves. He only lets them do songs that he likes, which is very selfish, since he is always saying that the glee club is about them, not him. Also, in season 1, he made them do le freak, and sit down you're rocking the boat, which he said the '93 glee club did. Finally, he always says that he treats everyone equally, when it's obvious he likes rachel, finn, and kurt the best. He treats everyone else so badly. He gives all the solos to Rachel, when Mercedes and Santana are just as good, or better, than her. He is my second least favorite character, Kurt being my least favorite.

Schuester is nothing more than a completely average man projecting himself onto teen kids because he never fulfilled his dreams. He pretends to be all empathetic, understanding, and progressive when in reality he holds them back and pits them against each other and their issues. Ex: harassing Mercedes, suspending Marley (a recovering bulimic with body image issues) for not wearing a bikini, acting like a child and basically blaming Puck for taking Finn's jacket, pretending to know Spanish and deprive kids of correctly learning a culture. Also perpetuating every stereotype ever... The worst part is that he does that and then expects GRATITUDE

Will schuester is the worst and thinks he's the best. Like he became a Spanish teacher because it was the only post open? Bruh you don't even speak Spanish, that's depriving a whole lot of people the chance to learn a language and different cultures properly. I was happy when Santana complained about him. He has some kinda hero complex where he thinks he's the only one who can help these kids. Also his best friend is a literal teenager (Finn). And he stole finns jacket from Santana and basically let puck take the blame like dude you're an adult grow up. He's just a terrible teacher who gets way too involved in his students lives, like I get it to some degree, I had teachers that I was close with in high school, but boundaries man.

3 Lauren zizes

It's not just that she's fat and unattractive. It's that she's fat, unattractive and she acts like a cocky, self absorbed ass who thinks she is the hottest thing. I can't stand fat characters to make up for their self pity by overcompensating. And come on, who in the world believes puck would get with her. Let's try and make it believable.

I'm sorry but who dare put up Will Schuester, Tina Cohen Chang, Mercedes Jones and even though I hate her Rachel Berry! The show wouldn't exist if it weren't for these characters and I really like Marley and I'm one of the only ones who does. I'm sorry but all Lauren does in the show is be a fat pig just my opinion!

How come the only argument you people can come up with is that she's a "fat pig"? It's wrong just to judge her or anyone on their body type. I personally don't like her, but only because of how hard Puck tried, and how horribly she treated him. Plus, she beat up my Santana. MY Santana. That's unforgivable.

Lauren is an amazing character, what's not to like. She's one of the most beautiful, funniest, and most bad ass character. She was the only girl Puck ever had to work for, which shows viewers that if you want a girl to like you, you have to work hard.

4 Marley Rose

Marley gets a lot of hate for no reason. She's not a second Rachel Berry, but do we really need a second Rachel Berry? Marley lacks Rachel's star quality but she's a very sweet girl with big dreams of becoming a singer. Just because she's nice, that doesn't make her boring. I know a lot of people LOVE Santana but she always makes me mad because she's so insensitive and she makes horrible remarks about people for no reason. The majority of the Glee fandom have Santana as their favorite and Marley as their least favorite, which is sad because Glee is a show about the underdogs and people like Santana are not by any means underdogs. Marley, on the other hand is relatable to many teenage girls more than Santana or any other cheerio will ever be.

Marley is the worst Glee character because the only thing she can do is just being sweet and nice. She is really boring and she doesn't have anything interesting to say. Her storyline sucks. I don't believe that characters with strong storyline like Karofsky and Lauren got kicked off the show and Marley is a main character. She tries too hard and she doesn't like herself, and that's totally against what Glee stands for. Glee is about loving yourself and Marley hates herself. Being bulimic is not something that Kitty did to her. Marley did that to herself. Marley is not the only Gleek to be bullied. What about Kurt, Blaine, Quinn? They became even stronger through bullying. Marley is a horrible role model for young girls.

Clearly one of the most boring characters in the history of television. At least if she was just boring, she was also weak and pointless (I think the producers thought they were writing for high school musical). She had a high budget when she joined the show, she even sang more than Rachel in that season. All that for nothing, since even Kitty, the new "blonde villain" was more interesting to keep up than her in the following season. I blame the executive producers of the series, Glee did not deserve to have had new characters that did not fit into the main message of the show. Glee isn't high school musical.

Marley is, undoubtedly, the worst character on Glee. She enters with zero character flaws, and given perhaps what is one of the worst sob stories in the history of television. She's the poor, harmless flower who's given an eating disorder when it's realized she has no possible plot potential besides the Ryder/Jake debacle. She is a Mary Sue, no doubt about it. Sure, Rachel wasn't necessarily a good person in the same way Marley is. But she was an AMAZING character--because she had a story. She was deeply flawed, and very nuanced. Marley is none of that, and it is no wonder why she was cut after only one season.

5 Brody

He lied to Rachel (Which she deserves) But I hate how he acts so charming and plain awesome! His abs are nice but I'm not going to get started on his hair. It looks like strings of rust that got washed. He said he didn't want to tell Rachel because it would hurt her but I think its because he was too selfish to share his money! SHE had to pay for college too and the difference was that she used her ACTUAL talent and her parents' money. Brody is a selfish brat! FINN! PUNCH HIM HaRdEr!

Honestly I don't think Brody was ever intended to be a permanent character, he was not a bad one, and he never did anything to deserve being hated as a character. The fact that everyone acts like he was a bad person just because he's a prostitute, is both baseless and awful.

You hate him. Why? Because he works as a prostitute to pay for his college? For some people that's the only option, give him a break.

He was the most annoying person ever- thanks for getting in the way of Finchel, dude. If not for him, Finn and Rachel would have been together more!

6 Tina Cohen-Chang

In season one, she was fine. But I feel like you have to hate every Glee character once. The thing about Tina, is she started getting so annoying, I just couldn't handle watching her. Especially after the first graduation, she got super annoying. She thinks she is all that, and she even had an assistant. She randomly broke up with Artie, and though I love Mike most of the time, she went with him instead. Only to hate on him after their breakup. Then she started hitting on Blaine (one of my favorites) even though she knew he was gay and still loved Kurt. I was tempted to vote Rachel, because of how selfish she is (even now), but Tina is just ongoing. Every time I try to like her, she does something to get on my nerves.

Tina Cohen-Change is by far the worst person on the show, even before season 3. Everyone seems to want to forget that when she dated Artie the first time, he told her that his deepest secret was that he wanted to dance more than anything else, and then she breaks up with him in a rude way so she can go out with the best dancer in school. After season 3 she becomes much worse. She was so rude to Blaine when she liked him, even though she knew he was gay. She has such a disillusion view of her worth and ability. Granted, she doesn't have a terrible voice, but its not worthy of solos or being, "The New Rachel". All her songs are bland and boring. Worst of all, she uses people like objects and it's obnoxious, example being how she agreed to go to prom with Sam until she found out she was on prom court so she could win. While pre-season three Tina was ok, post season three she is a betrayal to the character she used to be and is a horribly written character. It doesn't help she looks like ...more

I never really cared for her much, AND THEN SEASON 4. "Oh, Blaine's gay, he's so perfect though, let me be all creepy stalkery and desperate and MAKE HIM LOVE ME! " I don't know why the writers did this. I completely lost all respect for her. I never liked her in the first place, because she wasn't that talented and always acted so butt-hurt whenever all the talented people made them win. When she was dating mike, I felt like that was a good place for her and she wasn't particularly annoying or anything. But again, is she so desperate after breaking up with Mike, that she goes for the clearly gay guy?! come on Tina, have some self-respect.

Reasons why Tina was a horrible character:

1. She faked her stutter
2. She assumes the worst in everyone (Bad Reputation, Audition, Duets, etc.)
3. She has no regard for other people (she terrorizes the principal, she calls Mike a jerk for no reason, etc.)
4. She thinks she's better than everyone else (she complains about cutting her hair, but then mocks Quinn for complaining
5. She judges Rachel for her fashion sense, and doesn't believe her after she insists she is telling the truth, instead listening to a girl who has turned her back on her multiple times
6. When Brittany thinks she's pregnant and Tina is asked to keep it a secret, she tells Puck
7. She writes an offensive song about a part of someone's body that they are already bullied for
8. She judges Rachel for wanting to get a nose job
9. She is really rude to her assistant, who was just trying to help her
There are countless other moments where Tina was not a good person, but I'm tired so ...more

7 Sandy Ryerson

I don't even know where to begin with this guy. You could start with the pilot where he was taking advantage of a male student, Acafellas where he was sending Josh Groban locks of his hair, or "Night of Neglect" where he was the only adult who actively took part in heckling teenage kids.

I know that the guy hasn't been in it since Season 2, but he was the worst part of the show (with Cooter Menkin a runner-up)

Bae, daddy, lover, inspiration. It all comes down to one person described. Sandy Ryerson. Truly disappointed in this fandom for not appreciating this magnificent man.

He took advantage of a student, how could anyone like this character? He is simply horrible and creepy.

He's pointless and annoying. He's not funny at all and we definitely did not need him in the show.

8 Kitty Wilde

She was just a attempted mix between Satan, I mean Santana, and Lucy, I mean Quinn. She has the popularity and stereotypical mean girlishness of Quinn and the absolute horrid, evil, and cruelty of Santana. I mean this girl is literally around to be mean to Marley and basically ruin her life, I mean she literally made her develop an eating disorder, not even Santana did that. She sucks, plain and simple.

She was so mean to Marley. What did Marley do to her? She's also such a snob who thinks she's so much better than anyone else and she insults everyone. Okay, Quinn and Santana are kind of like that too but they have their personal struggles that make them likeable and relatable, while Kitty is the stereotypical mean girl.

Ugh. I hate this girl. It's as if the creators were trying too hard to replace Quinn Fabray, who CANNOT be replaced! Quinn is the best character in my opinion! Kitty is just such an awful character because, unlike Quinn, she's just straight up obnoxious and has no obstacles in her life. HATE HER. And also why is Will Shuester on this list? He's awesome!

Santana has said way worse things than Kitty has said and she's everybody's favorite while Kitty is nicer than Santana but everyone hates her. Kitty did one mistake with Marley and she apologized IN TEARS. Santana never apologized for harassing Rory or talking crap about Finn and Rachel FOR YEARS.

9 Finn Hudson Finn Hudson is a fictional character from the Fox musical comedy-drama series Glee. The character was portrayed by Cory Monteith and first appeared on television when Glee initially premiered its pilot episode on Fox on May 19, 2009. Finn was developed by Glee creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan.

I felt bad for fin at times yes but also he kinda sucked. He damn near cheated on Quinn with Rachel, Even though Quinn is worse due to sleeping with someone and having their child. He acts like a child whenever someone threatens his position as lead male singer. He got unreasonably angry at Quinn when she planned to walk from her wheelchair to get her crown at prom. She was in an accident going to his and Rachel's wedding, causing her to be in a wheelchair. So he's shouldn't be so mean to everyone.

Finn can not sing or dance yet he is the glee club's golden boy. Finn is a bit chubby, not every good at football, and stupid yet he is super popular. Finn has insulted every gay and bisexual character yet he isn't homophobic. He has cheated and insulted Rachel yet she comes back to him. Personally I don't find him cute. He teaches no life lesson and does not represent any kid watching GLEE.

I hate this guy. I hate Blaine too, but I must express why I hate this character. First of all he argues with Rachel EVERY EPISODE. Second of all, he is always putting himself down as being a loser. Third, he cannot sing as well as Puck, Sam, or Artie but gets a solo in EVERY DAMN GROUP NUMBER. Why did Quinn think about letting him take her baby? Quinn is my favorite character, and her being with my least favorite character is disturbing. Rachel was right for leaving him.

I'm sorry but I didn't like how he was calling Quinn names such as liar when he saw her standing up. Seriously I hated the writers for making it look like Quinn didn't have a great senior prom since Finn didn't get the clue that Quinn wanted to feel special one night esspecially with him.

10 Kurt Hummel

I liked Kurt at first, but I started liking him less during seasons 3-6. He used to be an amazing character, but now he's nothing more than Rachel Berry's personal slave, I mean sidekick. "I'm not a box, there's more than 4 sides to me". That used to true, until Rachel snatched him away. This is why I like KurtCedes more than HummelBerry. At least Mercedes treated him like a human being, while Rachel treats him like a pocket dog. I'm not voting for him, since the death of his character is Rachel's fault. I always cringe when Kurt and Rachel call each other "best friends", because everyone knows that Mercedes and Kurt were the best bestie pair on the show, besides early Brittana

Kurt is extrememly annoying and every time he talks he irritates me. He somehow manages to make literally EVERYTHING about himself, even if it's very sensitive for someone else (AKA when his dad had cancer and Kurt just made it all about himself instead of supporting his dad). I think he is a terrible singer and his high-pitched lady voice annoys the crap out of me. every time he sings I literally mute the T.V. or skip that scene. He also looks like he has no teeth when he sings. I've never liked his character. He's petty, selfish, and immature. His outfits are absolutely terrible by the way, there's no way he'd ever get a job at Vogue.com. I don't get people who love him, he's just as obnoxious, if not more, than Rachel.

Kurt is literally the best character in Glee because he helps show everyone how to be true to themselves and to fight for what you believe in. I believe that his relationship with Blaine is so adorable, and he does not deserve all of the hate. I'm just suprised that Sebastian Smythe isn't at number one, or even on this list in general. He was a real jerk to everyone and was petty and immature when it came to just about anything. And now whenever I watch the Flash, I see him with hatred.

There's a comment on here about how unsupportive Blaine was during the second prom, but what about Kurt's insensitivity during the first prom? Blaine admits that he's not a fan of school dances because he was literally (and savagely) assaulted for going to one as a out gay and hasn't been to a dance since. After agreeing to go to prom with very little convincing, Kurt shows off his gay attention seeking outfit and Blaine very astutely points out that being flamboyant could 'cause them trouble and be a risk to both of them and Kurt's reaction is basically "I don't care about your trauma or conserns, can't stop this fabulousness". How terrible can you be to someone like that? It wasn't even a face your fears I'm here for you moment. It was a everybody look at me one. Franky Blaine should never have agreed to go with him and we could have been spared having to see their unnatural, unconvincing, forced relationship.

The Contenders
11 Santana Lopez Santana Lopez is a fictional character from the Fox musical comedy-drama series Glee. The character is portrayed by actress Naya Rivera, and has appeared in Glee from its pilot episode, first broadcast on May 19, 2009.

People are saying that Santana is the most relatable character but honestly, I don't think that's true. There is a certain level you can go to before you start bullying someone and Santana surpasses that level. People are saying she represents us, right? Well, if people are that bad, no wonder the world is becoming a worse place day by day. You say characters like Marley are boring because they are too nice but characters like Santana are hilarious. Yeah, sure, Santana might be funny but there is a certain extent to go to. She tried sabotaging Rachel's dreams, she insults literally everyone and she expects people to like her. If they don't, she throws a fit. Whenever something doesn't go her way, she throws a pity party. Also, people say her voice is good but, in my opinion, her voice is a little too raspy. It doesn't really appeal to my taste. To me, Brittany's voice sounds better (Rachel's sounds a little too auto-tuned). I honestly don't like Rachel but the character that I dislike ...more

Everyone is saying that Santana is a relatable character. However, considering the real world, I don't think that a person could be that vicious to people who are supposedly her friends. I get the fact that she has attitude, but the way she treated people like Rory and Sam is utter crap. Although Santana would have made a great understudy, it's the fact that she can dish it, but she can't take it. Whenever she says something, people should be able to take it but when someone says something rude about her, she thinks that she is the victim and throws herself a pity party. You all don't like the characters that are genuinely sweet because they are boring. Then what kind of example are the mean people setting? That it's ok to insult people in every way possible and not expect anything back? That if you are nice, it's boring. That's bull crap.

Santana, though she insults almost every character on the show, is the most memorable. Even when all the other characters started blurring together, she remained original and interesting. And everyone judges her because she talks crap about everybody, when everybody does it, everybody in the real world talks crap about each other. People hate on Santana as if they'd never talked crap about somebody behind the other person's back. Face it. She's the most realistic person on the show. If you think every character should be overly nice to each other, maybe you should go back to watching My Little Pony.

She is a terrible person, regardless of sexuality. I'm not saying she deserved to be outed, but she really needed to be taught a lesson. She is a dream crushing, cruel, uncaring, arrogant, wretched, and worse than so many people. She does not deserve having her lesbianism used as a shield. She tries to tear everyone down around her and constantly uses the insecurities of others to make them feel bad. She told Rory Flanagan, a kind and caring person who did not know how America worked, to disappear as a favor to everyone. What if Rory did disappear(kill himself), what would she do then, what if fin cut himself open from her fat shaming, or made Rachel quit music due to her trampling her dreams or leave her boyfriends. She is pure evil and cruelty in people, even if she did it because she was lesbian or was raised wrong, it is no excuse for what she did to everyone

12 Ken Tanaka

I hate him, but he was a good character. He shouldn't be on this list.

He was just too pointless to be an even remotely good character.

... Hate him but we need him back on glee!

He is the worst character on glee!

13 April Rhodes

Why did they keep bringing her back? Just to make sure she's still the alcoholic burn out we all knew she was, and will be, till she dies?

Why was she on the show so much!? She sucked and was so annoying! Also she was Will's "student" once but she looks older than he does.

She was pretty cool, I admit, but her voice is creepy. And she's SUPER scrawny. But other than that I like her.

She's so annoying, I don't understand why Will thinks she's so amazing.

14 Emma Pillsburgh

I hate her voice so much and then she got engaged to both Carl and that one coach dude with the scrunch face. Also I hate the way they portray her ocd, she acted more like a germaphobe( not saying that those aren't symptoms). On top of that she flirts with a married man. Furthermore she is extremely boring, is a complete prude, and personally for me the worst character.

First of all these rating are way of! "This vote isn't characters you wouldn't be friends with", it's worst characters meaning they are boring lacking substance. How can you put Rachel and kitty on here?!? People are saying "kitty's so mean" well big deal she's hilarious to watch and she's kind when she has to be. And Rachel's whole character is around her being self centered and messing up social relations that's what MAKES HER CHARACTER INTERESTING! Why is everyone on here so so dumb

She has horribly big eyes and flirts with Will all the time. Plus she does things she never wanted to (eg. Married the football coach) and then is sad and mad about it. She creeps me out with those big eyes.

The most annoying person at mckinley more annoying than Sue.

15 Mercedes Jones

Geez. Like Rachel, Mercedes thought she was the bomb. She did everything for the spotlight. She deserted New Directions and made Brittany and Santana leave. Sometimes her sassiness is hilarious but ugh sometimes it's very annoying. When she had a "summer fling" with Sam she thought she was all that. I don't know why she won't stick her nose out of the air and bring it back down to earth. I loved her after the first 3 seasons. Also she did't realize that yeah she was beautiful and her voice was amazing but she is a lot on the heavy side. Her body shape is more heavy set and just not really likable when she's saying how SHE should get a solo when all you see is her hand on her enormous hip.

It is hilarious when people think Mercedes would have been the star if Rachel wasn't there. For one thing Amber is limited in her acting.

But the real problem was for Mercedes was Santana. People want to blame Rachel for her not getting more but Santana is who took more from her. Rachel was the lead from day one and frankly didn't do anyhting wrong to have that taken from her. Santana leap frogged over Mercedes. Tina and even Quinn to take second female

Ugh this is the same problem I have with Lauren. Mercedes is a large and unattractive woman, yet she acts like a diva that is the hottest thing God put on this earth. come on play your body size. It's annoying to see her act like a self absorbed ass. You've either got to have a good personality or a good look and she has neither yet acts like she has both. She disgusts me.

Mercedes is both selfish and ignorant. Yes, Rachel could be annoying and self-centered but Mercedes has to prove herself before she can demand the lead spot. Rachel has always had a better range and pitch than Mercedes, so I get tired of her whining. While I think Mercedes is very talented, her vocals are limited.

16 Azimio Adams

He's the one that bullied all the glee club kids (not the main one) and he's just boring.

He was so mean and a follower, but he had mich of his own personality.

He had no personality, he was just a Karofsky wannabe.

Sorry but who even cares?

17 Cooter Menkins

I hated him, not only did he make me feel uncomfortable (I don't know why) but he abused coach Beiste and was seriously the dumbest character on Glee.

This guy was honestly the worst character on glee. Not only was he extremely annoying, he abused coach Beiste who was such a sweet character.

Worst of them all. He's an abuser to one of the sweetest character on the show. What more can be said?

He talks like Bill Cosby

18 Noah Puckerman

Noah Puckerman is ugly and terribly lame. The bad boy act, the total botchfest of his life where he aggressively makes mistakes left and right and all over the place. Getting Quinn pregnant, tossing himself everywhere like the garbage he is to whatever person with two legs and a skirt. Sheesh! He's offensive of on all aspects.

Puck is garbage. His tacky Mohawk, image, and everything that is Noah Puckerman offends me in every ounce of the word. He's so trashy.

He was the best looking guy in the show but according to the internet he could be a pedophile.

Seriously? Noah Puckerman is and always will be awesome!

19 Blaine Anderson

Blaine is a horribly written character and an overall bad person. I used to think that Rachel was the worst and most self-centered, but now it's him. I used to kind of like him, even though I was annoyed he always got solos, but after what he did to Kurt when he cheated and his expectation for forgiveness he didn't deserve, he's now my least favourite. That says something, because there are a lot of characters I dislike. I don't just not like him- I hate him with a passion. He pushes talented characters to the back and got way more attention than he deserved. I agree he's talented, but no more talented than most of the other Glee kids, except Sugar who was purposely not talented. Ugh.

Blaine sexually abused Kurt while drunk in the back seat if a car, and didn't even apologize. When he gains weight in New York and doesn't even try to lose it, he blames Kurt. When he gets all jealous that Kurt's body is sexier than his (it's true), he blames Kurt. When he gets depressed and watches porn, he blames Kurt. When he cheats in Kurt, he blames Kurt. This guy is a total overused annoying character. It's like it's impossible for him to take responsibilty for his actions. Kurt should marry StarChild and have cute diva babies, while Blaine should be the depressed fat homeless man who lives in the dumpster and yodels at children. We all know Kurt wears the pants in the relationship, cause honestly Blaine is a mess. The fact that Blaine got accepted into NYADA made me cringe. Blaine was right when he said maybe he didn't want to go to NYADA, because why would anybody accept him? Madame Tibbido are you high? He and Rachel are like the annoying self centered hobbit twins. Oh, how I ...more

A good character in S2 (who sang too much). But in Season 3 and Season 4, he really just turned into a whiny, hypocritical irritant, for a number of reasons that would take too long to list. Season 4 finale was the final straw for me, as he just ignored all the advice given to him and decides to propose to Kurt (Who is dating another guy). Just ridiculous. And he sings way too much while talented singers (Tina, Artie etc. ) are shunted into the background. Plus Darren is a dreadful dramatic actor.

HOW HIS HE NOT ABOVE FINN! Blaine is the WORST character on the show. First he accuses Kurt of cheating when he was just texting, yet he really DOES cheat and expects forgiveness. His character was overused to the point of exhaustion, ruining every song. His character wouldn't be nearly as bad if the writers didn't make him join the and. He is WAY to emotional for my liking, and Kurt deserved better. How much you want to bet they got divorced within ten years of marriage? I hated that he made a Kurt puppet and was OBSESSED with it, I hated when he got mad at Kurt for being in better shape than him, and instead of working out, he stayed home and watched porn. He and Lauren Zizes should switch places on this list, because Lauren could wipe the floor with that loser. He says he'll never forgive Kurt for breaking up with him, yet Kurt forgave him for cheating. Kurt was just trying to make the relationship healthy, and Blaine was the biggest baby about it. The writers ruined his confident ...more

20 Mike Chang

Some people are upset for a little while Mike took Tina from Artie. But they forget that Mike and Artie where good friends. Tina was being ridiculous proposing to Mike. I know why she did it but if she had gotten Married Tina wouldn't have been happy. There are some who are probably upset with Mike for rejecting Tina but Mike knew the truth weather Tina's heart fully did at time of not.

I don't get why you people hate Mike Chang. You say that he can only dance, but if you watched all the episodes, you can see that he could also sing. I don't see you faulting Mercades for only being able to sing, so why fault Mike Chang for dancing very well, and being an okay singer.

My absolute favorite. There is no way he should be on this list. Just because he didn't go around and cheat on everyone or add that much drama he was still cool and super chill.

Mike Chang is by far my favorite character on Glee, probably because he didn't get so many lines so the writers didn't have a chance to kill his personality and make him totally unlikable like Tina

21 David Karofsky

I really love him, but I hate how he bullied Kurt for a year, and then one week of himself being bullied he attempted suicide... Like, he should've understood how serious bullying was in the first place! But I cried when he almost died and he is a very nice character after season two...

At first I hated him, but when I learnt his story I grew to respect him. He has really changed throughout the Seasons and I would like to see him happy with his boyfriend someday.

He bullies kurt so much that kurt goes to another school and then he says he likes him... I'm sorry but I just hate how he made himself feel like the victim when kurt actually was.

This guy was such a stereotype. Just because someone isn't comfortable with gays doesn't mean that they are gay.

22 Holly Holliday

Holly Holliday is amazing, I feel like she didn't even need a ton of character development and her sparratiic appearances were explained well. She's the best!

I hated her because I hate Gweneth Paltrow. Also, I don't think that she should've made as many appearances as she did.

Truthfully, I loved her

23 Carl Howell

Ugh he annoyed me so much. But he was hot.

Eh, he was okay I guess

He took time away from Wemma (Will and Emma) so... case closed. But ya'll might not be Wemma fans so...

What he was so much better with emma and doesn't deserve to be hated

24 Jake Puckerman

Seriously? His Character is plain retarded, the bad boy act? It would be cool if he wasn't such a loser, I hate his character, it's so cliché, and puck's half back brother that he had no knowledge about, really? And how he gets everything! Ryder is way better for marley, jake is so overrated, he has a good voice but he only hits low notes, and his character is just plain, he's like a crappy copy of puck

After what how he treated Marley, he lost my respect.

Poor man's Puck without the charisma, funny lines or the looks. So basically he's just a loser with a bad attitude. (Puck wasn't a loser though, ever.)

This dude is terrible and a sub par singer.

25 Sam Evans

I think my problem with Sam isn't his brick wall of idoicy moments though those are fustring it's two things 1. His lack of understanding of personal space you are 6ft tall even if person who is 5'7 doesn't feel(sadly actor could when character couldn't) you can't sit on them that doesn't work and is dangerous and when your 6ft or taller you should be more catious about personal space. 2. I got creeped out anytime Sam tried to talk to Artie it felt like Sam was flirting with Artie and it felt weird. He doesn't talk to Finn or Blaine same way he talks to Artie and it's weird. However while I'm not a Sam fan Tina needs to be higher so she got voted up.

Sam is just a boring character. Every single person in this list (even Marley who is currently in place 1) is unique and has something special. But there is nothing special about Sam at all. He is just a handsome guy and a good dancer.

The only thing he does in the show is being cute and dumb, but other than with Brittany, I can't see anything cute at his dumbness. And in season 4 he starts to be annoying as hell

The worst character on the show. Why they kept him so long is a mystery to me. They should have replaced him with Blake Jenner. He's more talented!
