Worst Hair Metal Bands

The Top Ten
1 Poison Poison is an American glam and hard rock band that achieved great commercial success in the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s.

Though poison is very famous, But their 'latest' songs which they produced aren't good at all, but yes - their starting ones were (some) good and the leading reasons for their fame

They have one good song. THe rest is absolute garbage, worst "metal" (not really) out there, even worst than some really bad core bands.

They have a few good songs, though not that many...

They have a couple of decent songs.

2 Warrant Warrant is an American glam metal band formed in 1984 in Hollywood, California, that experienced success from 1989 to 1996 with five albums reaching international sales of over 10 million.

Metal isn't supposed to have interactions with pop music. Here are 3 quotes that make it clear:
Geezer Butler, Black Sabbath: "If you are a pop band, don't say you're a metal band. Poison and Warrant were about as metal as the Backstreet Boys".
Dave Mustaine, Megadeth: "Pop and metal aren't friends. Each knows exactly where the other lives and tries to keep its distance. They choose different streets, neighborhoods, zip codes".
Dave Mustaine, Megadeth: "Glam stands for Gay Los Angeles Metal".

Cherry Pie is one of the worst songs I've ever heard...

There is not a more annoying song than Cherry Pie with the possible exception of George Harrison’s Got My Mind Set on You!

They're probably the worst HM band.

3 Cinderella Cinderella was an American glam metal and hard rock band from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The band emerged in the mid-1980s with a series of multi-platinum albums and hit singles whose music videos received heavy MTV rotation.

Their ballads make me want to rip my ears off but their heavy stuff is Fire tho

4 Bon Jovi Bon Jovi is a hard rock/pop rock band formed in 1983, which had a streak of successful albums in the late 1980s. The band originally consisted of lead vocalist Jon Bon Jovi, guitarist Ritchie Sambora (left in 2013), bassist Alec John Such (left in 1994), keyboard David Bryan, and drummer Tico Torres. The band's most famous album is Slippery When Wet, released in 1986, and had multiple hit singles such as "You give love a bad name", "Livin' On A Prayer", and "Wanted Dead Or Alive". The band's success continued well into the 1990s and 2000s, and the group still makes music to this day. They have sold around around 83 million albums worldwide. The band's first four albums blended the glam metal ...read more.

Overplayed garbage. A disgrace to hard rock music. Even Poison are better than these wimps.

Bon Jovi isn't metal however, they certainly contributed to the decline of modern music...

Don't think that they try to be metal like other hm bands.

5 Twisted Sister Twisted Sister was an American heavy metal band originally from Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, and later based in Long Island, New York.
6 Skid Row Skid Row is an American heavy metal band, formed in 1986 in Toms River, New Jersey. They were very successful in the late 1980s and early 1990s, with their first two albums certified multi-platinum.

Actually, from my point of view, glam metal is an annoying genre. But glam metal artists are talented though. Axl Rose, Slash, Sebastian Bach etc.

Good band but quite overrated...Their recent songs weren't good at all either

7 Dokken Dokken are an American metal band formed in 1979. They split up in 1989 and reformed four years later.
8 Stryper Stryper is an American Christian metal band from Orange County, California. The group's lineup consists of Michael Sweet, Oz Fox, Perry Richardson, and Robert Sweet.

"Hey, let's dress like bumble bees and make metal music about the least metal thing possible"

10 FireHouse
The Contenders
11 W.A.S.P. W.A.S.P. is an American heavy metal band formed in 1982 by Blackie Lawless, who is the only remaining original member of the band.
12 Motley Crue Mötley Crüe is an American metal band formed in Los Angeles, California on January 17, 1981. The group was founded by bassist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee, lead vocalist Vince Neil and lead guitarist Mick Mars.

Tommy is an overrated, gimmick drummer compared to most other serious metal drummers. Vince’s voice is annoying at many points in their songs. MM is talented, but the combination of everything just screams cheese and lacks any depth.

Every time I hear one of their songs play, I am glad this era in music is over. Goofy...

13 Def Leppard Def Leppard are an English hard rock band formed in 1977 in Sheffield as part of the new wave of British heavy metal movement.
