Top 10 Worst Hollow Knight Bosses

While there are a fair amount of great bosses in the game, but there are also some which are simply embarrassing in terms of just how poorly designed or stupid they are. This list will include any form of boss fight, but not the dream warriors, as they feel much more like minibosses than actual bosses.
The Top Ten
1 Flukemarm

I cannot think of a less appealing boss fight in a game. This combines so many terrible aspects of gaming that I just cannot understand why anyone thought it was a good idea to put it in. The design of it is absolutely abhorrent, and it has a single attack, which is to constantly spawn really obnoxious flying enemies. This boss is so easy to cheese in a wide variety of ways, yet still will be annoying due to how stupid the flying enemies are. Downright terrible boss in every regard.

2 Traitor Lord

While some other bosses may be worse in design and moveset, not to mention entertainment value, I find this boss to be incredibly lazy due to the fact that it literally just has the moveset of the mantis enemies that are fought all throughout the area. The fact that you can have Cloth fight by your side is also pretty cool, but does not save it from the fact that such an important boss is so lazily made.

3 Massive Moss Charger

The fact that this is even considered to be a boss is quite perplexing to me, since its pattern is nothing more than a normal moss charger, but with more health. I wasn't even aware that it was a boss until I checked the wiki for this list, so if that's not a testament to the lack of impact this boss had on me, I don't know what is.

4 God Tamer

I find this boss really annoying and janky to try dodging anything from, but that's not the reason I'm putting it on the list. I'm putting it on the list because despite the fact that I've never learned how to fight it, I've also never lost to it. Once you realise that all you need to do is tank any damage and then once you're low on health, simply sit back and heal, it's extremely easy and underwhelming. Then again, there's a case to be made that this is actually a good thing, since the trial of the fool is an absolute nightmare.

5 Vengefly King

There's just a lot of annoying waiting in this fight, with you only being able to attack when the boss decides to try swooping down and hitting you, which can take way longer than it should. Other than that, there really isn't much to say about it, as it's very unremarkable.

6 Uumuu

Just like the Vengefly King, this boss is a test of patience. The only reason I like this one more is because of how aesthetically interesting the boss arena is, making waiting slightly less tedious.

7 Nosk

A very tedious boss that more or less entirely consists of running from one side of the arena to the other, and very occasionally dodging ceiling projectiles. Really dull in general

8 Gruz Mother

This boss would be much worse to me if not for how early you fight it, making what could very possibly be an insultingly easy boss simply be a fairly unimpressive one. I do find its bouncing attack to be quite amusing though.

9 Absolute Radiance

This boss has the complete opposite problem of many bosses on the list, it's just way too difficult. WHile I love a good challenge, this boss is so fast and RNG dependant that the fun is taken away. It doesn't help in the slightest that you have to fight through such an intense trial to get to this point either.

10 Winged Nosk

There's really nothing to say about this boss, it's just that meh in every respect.
