Top 10 Worst the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Items
The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time had a lot of really great items at your disposal but for then there are these items the ones that either are completely useless, have only one use, or are hardly worth the effort you go through to get them.
Thieu only purpose is to be uses to light unlit torches, they can be useed to attack but they break after just one hit you can increase the number of sticks you can carry but why would anyone want to carry more of these useless sticks.
The Goron merchant will sell you a Giant's knife for 200 rubees but it breaks after a certain number of hits or by hitting the wall 3 or more times when it breaks your left with just a tiny broken sword and its basically useless you could have the Goron merchant to fix it again for 200 rubees but its pointless instead work your way to unlocking the Biggoron's Sword though it's a long series of trades its well worth the efforts as it won't break.
What the hell it broke
A reward for clearing the Gerudo's Training Ground which can be used to freeze some enemies but for the most part its not really worth the effort and it's not necessary for completing the game unlike in Majora's Mask.
Only has one use for being able to get into Lord Jabu Jabu's Belly and rescue that brat Princess Ruto, though you can capture them and sell them to the guy at Hyrule Market and later in Kakariko Village for about 100 rubees
Can be captured and sold for a mere 10 rubees at the ghost shop you can drink them but you really don't want to as you'll slowly take damage.
Unless your after the Heart Piece in Lake Hylia Laboratory it's not really worth the time and effort to capture a huge fish as Adult Link.
You get it after giving the old hag the odd mushroom from the guy in the Lost Woods despite your efforts when you return to give it to him he's gone and a kokiri girl instead takes his place and asks you to return the potion to her in exchange for the poacher's saw.
I really hated the fishing mini-game in Ocarina of Time so most of the time I completely ignore it, the fishing rod is kind of a pain to use and it's really difficult realling in those big fishes necessary fot getting the heart piece and Golden Scale.
The Deku shield is the first shield you get as Young Link it does serve a purpose t defend against enemys and bounce off most projectiles however because it's made of wood if Link is attacked by a fire enemy it burns and you lose it an either have to look for a new one or buy another.
After selling the 4 regular masks and obtaining the Mask of Truth you have acess to use 3 other masks including The Goron, Zora and Gerudo masks however they really serve no purpose and unlike Majora's Mask they don't allow you to transform into a Goron or Zora and the Gerudo mask doesn't even allow you to pass through Gerudo Valley.
