The Top Ten

1 Shane Ray Shane Ray Shane Ray is an American football outside linebacker for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League.

For first rounder linebacker from 2015 Shane Ray did make sense he go to Denver, but they didn't use him hardly, and look to dump him away as we speak. - htoutlaws2012

2 Brian Orakpo Brian Orakpo Brian Ndubisi Orakpo is an American football outside linebacker for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League.

Usually a great veteran for the most part, but this season they did the right thing in getting two young linebackers for the future in case his playing ability was gonna go down or he was gonna down in injury affairs. - htoutlaws2012

3 Preston Brown Preston Brown

Had a very bad year for a defense that shockingly finished last place in total because they couldn't stop the big plays of big chunks they gave up, and Brown as barely on the eye of the ball. Yep that's right you know your defense is atrocious when two linebacker have made the 10 yikes. - htoutlaws2012

4 K. J. Wright K. J. Wright

He has only played four games due to injury but they could use some help outta Wright very soon because Seahawks defense has been a big surprise for a team that looked to be rebuilding in the secondary. Linebacker though Bobby Wagner needs a solid #2 again looks like Bruce Irvin was a big loss after all. - htoutlaws2012

5 Dont'a Hightower Dont'a Hightower

Well looks like Belichick trade the wrong playmaker Chandler Jones is still solid in Arizona where as with Hightower something is going on and I'm not sure where it begins with him not doing much in a very also odd defensive scheme. - htoutlaws2012

6 Vontaze Burfict Vontaze Burfict Vontaze DeLeon Burfict, Jr. is an American football linebacker for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League.

Why is this guy still in the NFL we know what he does the direst player to play the game he should be suspended indefinitely never to return from the game. - htoutlaws2012

Well, he recently suffered his seventh career concussion, and now his career is on the line. He may as well just retire, for his and everyone else’s safety. - PackFan2005

7 Clay Matthews III Clay Matthews III William Clay Matthews III is an American football outside linebacker for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League.

Even despite getting screwed early his still dropping as the player he once started out as, and once the defense line got shook up that defense took a turn for the worst. - htoutlaws2012

An aging Clay will not help Green Bay anymore. Despite being a fan favorite, he needs to be let go after 2018 along with Randall Cobb. - PackFan2005

8 Sean Lee Sean Lee

Lee is the odd man out in Dallas, so he may be on his way out. Fortunately for him, some team will sign him somewhere. - PackFan2005

Jaylon Smith, and Vander Esch have been outstanding this season, Sean Lee is pretty much on his way at this point his too banged up, and even if they get that younger linebacker fill in those two are all over the ball like fly's one of Cowboys keys why they are good this season where as with again Lee there's really no option, but to just left em walk quietly. - htoutlaws2012

9 Christian Kirksey Christian Kirksey

After having a good year with an awful team, Kirksey took a step back strangely. Browns show great progression though, as they hope he can leap back into what he was in 2017 as one of the few to make the pro bowl that year doesn't do so this season. - htoutlaws2012

10 Kareem Martin Kareem Martin

Like said about Golden Martin still hasn't looked like what the Cardinals had hoped for. Just something about this defense just doesn't seem like they the right guys or that you have the most screwed scheme in football that won't win you that many games seriously heavy nickle dime which is a 2-5 type defense that's crazy. - htoutlaws2012

The Contenders

11 Nick Perry Nick Perry

I get Clay being on here, but Perry should be above him. We signed him to a huge deal after a double digit sack year in 2016, and his grand total of sacks in 2018 is 1.5. He has never started all 16 games in a season in his career, and is stopped easily when on the field. Perry is absolute garbage, and needs to be dumped after 2018, despite all the dead cap space that we will face in the aftermath. - PackFan2005
