I've only done one comparison list and it's kinda bad to be honest

It's not even far fetched like "Why Ebola is better than Justin Bieber", it's comparing 2 songs people don't think is country. It's still really bad and the worst list I made to date.

There are too many of them so I made a different type of list

"Why Adventure Time is better than ebola"...No, I'm not joking.

I had a good intent with these (I started the users being better than celebrities thing) but things didn't go as planned. (See comments below)

These lists are made by those who can't put their brains together for making better lists. Lists made only for the sake of making them.

It creates a positive vibe on users, especially on the most controversial ones!

They all exist because the list of reasons why that user is good was made.

These are an okay concept but 99% of the time they are executed poorly. They should be made at the END of the month instead of the beginning. And the creator ALWAYS puts their friends first because they’re nice instead of the users who have actually worked hard.

I'm so bloody sick of these. They're ALWAYS made at the start of the month, the ten items are ALWAYS the creator's friend, and the person first is ALWAYS first because they're nice.

They're always made at the start of the month for some reason. At least when I made my list Best Users of August 2014 I actually made it at the end of the month.

It could be good when the basis of choosing which users are the best is pretty accurate. And who makes such a list on a month that just started?

Best male user who were online on the 11th of July 2015 at 9:43 AM who's username begins with a "G" and has the colour black in their profile picture. One I can top!

I don't think there are many ridiculous user ranking lists. Only user ranking lists which are poorly made.

I don't think anyone understands. Mine was just a parody of Wildhawk's, wasn't trying to rip it off.

Positron's was first and PetSounds' was original, but all the others are just rip-offs.

Eh, I only see the problem with hate lists. Those who don't make hate lists just raid love lists. Just look up a list that panders towards a fanbase with a bad reputation.

I strongly regreted it when I created my interesting facts list. I shouldn't created it in the first place.

I've been thinking about making one, but at the same time I don't.

Nothing wrong with them

I do these lists a lot. But I make sure to listen to the entire album before making the lists, and judge which songs are truly the best from that album. Some of the others who do these kinds of lists should do that as well, not all of them do.

I think that these lists are fine, they are good for introducing people to new music, and are somewhat interesting if done well.

These aren't bad ideas for lists themselves (I have done a fair few), but very little thought goes into many of them.

For these to work they need to be descriptive. Someone like kempokid does these kinds of lists a lot and they're very well structured.

We already know you hate it. Stop trying to get some easy fame by pronouncing what is already known.

I tried making a list like this. I failed badly.

Better make a blog post about it instead.

I tried to do one but it failed. Now, I want someone else who really likes my lists enough to make that list. I also want someone who really hates my lists to make a list about that. It sounds weird to want a hate list, but maybe if people complain about my lists then people will check out how 'bad" they are.

I don't think I'll ever make this. Maybe I'll make a list of best blog posts by me, since I blog more.

All the items will be filled with people who were irrelevant in 2010.

We all know JB, Miley Cirus, and 1D are going to be at the top. You already forsee the future so I usually avoid these lists.

One user made a list about 9 times, and it was fine, because that signifies originality. Now others making ripoffs using other numbers in place of 9 is just annoying.

I'm pretty sure that DapperPickle made the first one, and now there's multiple lists relating to it. The others are just rip-offs.

Usually a hate list on anything that's popular. Just look at the list on PewDiePie.

Utterly pointless and vastly irritating. Whatever happened to quality content?

These lists always get ruined.

Why are there so many self-moderated lists this year? Users should have the right to add items.
