Okay, everyone here is saying "Oh! He killed Moonflower! He sucks!" or "Oh! Medicine cats are supposed to heal, not kill!" But in truth, I actually like Hawkheart. Take a moment to come at me with your pitchforks and lit up torches or do whatever you want, I honestly don't care. If you hate him, fine, but don't hate me for liking him. Anyways, you're now probably wondering WHY I like him, right? Yes? Okay, I'll explain: He wasn't trying to kill Moonflower. He just wanted to injure her and make her leave his herbs alone. I don't even like Moonflower if I'm being honest... Anyways, take a walk in his paws! You're a medicine cat in the middle of a battle and some random cat comes into your den and starts trying to destroy your herb store, which you're going to need to help save your injured Clanmates. What would you do? Probably fight them, correct? Ya, exactly. So can you really blame Hawkheart? I mean, I guess you could hate him if Moonflower was your favourite character but that's your own problem, not Hawkheart's. He was loyal to his Clan, and him killing Moonflower was 100% an accident. He may not have shown any remorse or guilt, but he was probably upset about it, he just couldn't let his Clanmates see. I feel pity for Hawkheart, having to live with the fact that he killed a cat with six moon old kits. It's not his fault Moonflower tried to destroy his herb store! And if anything Goosefeather or Pinestar are the one's to blame. Sure, Hawkheart may have killed her, but Pinestar and Goosefeather sat by and did nothing to stop him. Moonflower is to blame, as she's the one who tried to ruin his herb store. Hawkheart was just defending his herbs and protecting his Clan, Moonflower was in the wrong, not Hawkheart! Cut him some slack! No one would be this upset if Jayfeather had've been the one to kill a cat! It's only because Hawkheart's personality wasn't the best so everyone hates him. Not fair... He's such a terrible medicine cat! For one, he wasn't even fully-trained but was still made a full medicine cat with no hesitation, and for two, he SUCKS! She was known for being the first medicine cat who did not believe in StarClan. I don't really care for her, but just because I don't really like her personality and her story is kind of vague as we already had Cloudtail who didn't believe in StarClan. What's wrong with Puddleshine? I'm currently only on Shattered Sky, so he might do some bad things later on, but he seems fine right now... I actually really like and I feel like he's super underrated. He's also not a Gary Stu, as people like to say. He only got 2 moons of training, so he may not be as skilled as other medicine cats.
