Saw the comment "I thought this is the #1 metal Christian band? Who posting these? It's completely false. This band is awesome. Probably a hater posted it" and decided to put my vote here.

I thought this is the #1 metal Christian band? Who posting these? It's completely false. This band is awesome. Probably a hater posted it

Its all the same. The singer can't sing or scream, the guitarist can't play to save his life and the bassist and drummer are boring. Terrible band.

Drummer with technical skills that could blow most metal drummers out of the water. It's not about mindless double-bass with these guys, but rather overall superior songwriting.

62 Diamond Head Diamond Head Diamond Head are an English heavy metal band formed in 1976 in Stourbridge, England. The band is recognised as one of the leading members of the new wave of British heavy metal and is acknowledged by thrash metal bands such as Metallica and Megadeth as an important early influence.

Um... this band was one of the biggest heavy metal names for awhile before Metallica and the whole slew of thrash. - Metalhead1997

What idiot put Diamond Head on this list? A stupid Metallica fanboy who likes their cover of Am I Evil better than the original?

63 Steel Panther Steel Panther Steel Panther is an American comedy glam metal band from Los Angeles, California, mostly known for their profane and humorous lyrics, as well as their exaggerated on-stage personae that parody the stereotypical 1980s "glam metal" lifestyle. V 3 Comments
64 Misericordiam
65 System Of A Down System Of A Down System of a Down formed in 1994 as an Armenian-American Nu Metal group from Glendale, California . The band name is sometimes shortened to System or SOAD. ...read more.

Whoever put System Of A Down on this list honestly needs to learn good music. They probably heard 2 seconds of Chop Suey and decided to put it on here. Listen to Prison Song, Aerials, Soil, Lost In Hollywood and Shimmy then tell me they are bad

Whoever put this on the list is hilariously autistic

Who put them on this list? Someone clearly hasn't heard the Self-Titled debut. - spiderskull98

System of a down is one the most creative and influential metal bands of the 2000s and are my favorite band I love the vocals and melding of genres with metal

Definitely do not belong on this list. Clean vocals are decent, and everything else about them is nothing short of amazing.

Yeah, listen to a band where the singer paid to have his wife killed. What a great band (! )

68 Dio Dio Dio was an American heavy metal band formed in 1982 and led by vocalist Ronnie James Dio, after he left Black Sabbath with intentions to form a new band with fellow former Black Sabbath member, drummer Vinny Appice.

How dare anyone put Dio on this list...

Maybe it's because they were painfully average, their rainbow shtick got old very quickly as did the formulaic approach of start-with-a-fast-song-then-the-title-track with every album.

You're not a metal fan if you voted Dio. He is legendary, along with Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, thrash metal's Big 4 (most of the time), Judas Priest, Pantera, and for me personally, Tool. Get off this list; you don't belong here. - MKBeast

Did is great get them off the list

Dio, seriously? I'm sure if he was still alive he would disapprove of this. - Metalhead1997

69 Tool Tool Tool is an American progressive metal/alternative metal band, that was formed in 1990. ...read more.

This is just ridiculous to consider tool as an option for this list. there are a lot of other great bands on this list as well. I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion, but good lord.

Tool is one of the best bands of all time, let alone one of the best metal bands. If you don't believe me, I'm sorry. Too bad you missed out, but hey; to each their own. - MKBeast

Tool are one of the most talented, innovative, and greatest metal bands ever! I don't know how someone can dislike them - ryanrimmel

71 Hammerfall Hammerfall HammerFall is a Swedish heavy metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden. The band was formed in 1993 by ex-Ceremonial Oath guitarist Oscar Dronjak.

What are they doing on here? They're an awesome band. They shouldn't be on here at all.

I agree with the first guy, the second guy's comment is wrong.

Okay, I am a huge Power Metal fan but Hammerfall really sucks.

72 Mayhem Mayhem Mayhem is a Norwegian black metal band formed in 1984 in Oslo, regarded as one of the pioneers of the Norwegian black metal scene.

Why is one of the earliest black metal bands on here? Mayhem is a great band, and this list is very biased. - Metalhead1997

They're satanic, they burned down churches, you overrate them, etc. - DCfnaf

73 Motley Crue Motley Crue Mötley Crüe was an American metal band formed in Los Angeles, California on January 17, 1981. The group was founded by bassist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee, lead vocalist Vince Neil and lead guitarist Mick Mars.

78 Gorgoroth Gorgoroth Gorgoroth is a Norwegian black metal band based in Bergen. Formed in 1992 by Infernus, the band is named after the dead plateau of evil and darkness in the land of Mordor.

Probably the most blatantly brutal insane band I've ever heard of. I mean hell the live shows have pools of blood, goat heads, and actual naked people tied to crosses. black metal as a whole is probably the most legitimately brutal sub genre there is

These guy are awesome black metal rules

An actual satanic band.

These guys, its just unexplainable

79 Anthrax Anthrax Anthrax is an American thrash metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker.

This is THE most underrated band of the Big Four. They're the nicest, way more talented than Metallica, and they never get the respect that they deserve. Listen to them, they kick your ass when you do, they're that good!

Metallica, slayer, megadeth and anthrax... All the big four are on the list... come on PEOPLE! THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST OF METAL!

See, this is why society sucks as a whole. Listen to Madhouse, I am the Law, or their cover of Antisocial, come back here, and say they're bad. I challenge you.

Anthrax? Why are they on here? - Metalhead1997

The music is fantastic, but the guy is NOT a cool dude. He killed a person you know.

Dude, he makes good music, except that Days of Yore album. - Metalhead1997

The music is not bad but I don't want to support varg

Antisemetic assclown. He should have stayed in prison. His music is only popular because of what he did. Disgusting.
