Worst fanbase in metal. All they do is listen to holy wars on repeat for 5 hours, talk smack on other big four bands, mostly metallica, and worship dave mustaine like a god (even though he kinda is).

Megadeth doesn't deserve an obnoxious fan base. Sadly, they have one. Although, don't let their obnoxious fans stop you from listening to their music, because overall their music is great if you ask me. - Metarock

Their fans never stop thinking about talking trash on Metallica. They are very delusional too. - Sabbath

All we do is talk trash about Metallica, eh? Stop making pathetic assumptions and generalising and entire group of fans. - gemcloben

Shut the hell up. The majority of your fanbase is cancerous. You may be an exception, but I doubt it. - SoldierOfFortune

The only times CC fans annoy me is when they say they're the best death metal band. That crown belongs to Death. - IronSabbathPriest

I'm voting for Death fans being the most annoying because this comment. - Cucrapok

Why does this band exist? Same with Blood On The Dance Floor. - RiverClanRocks

Riverclanrocks, don't comment on something you don't have a clue about. Take your childish closed minded views elsewhere. - gemcloben

I do know about this band. And I don't like them. I can have my own opinion, thank you very much. - RiverClanRocks

They're really nasty only time I really listen to em is on Halloween. Anything rape type from this band makes me sick

5 Overkill Overkill is an American thrash metal band, formed in 1980 in New Jersey. They have gone through many line-up changes, with singer Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth and bassist D.D.

They're one of the most underrated thrash band what the hell

Overkill? You complain about true hardcore thrash metalheads, and you also complain about posers? Make your mind up. - gemcloben

Overkill gets way too much respect in the metal community. Their vocals are trash, they use an insane amount of treble, their drummer constantly uses a trigger, and their lyrics are cheesy - Sabbath

I like slipknot, does that make me a poser? No. Stop talking rubbish. So stop calling other people posers to make yourself feel special or superior. - gemcloben

Maybe not you but from what I saw back when Slipknot was popular how the kids dressed and acted I'm sure they weren't the only kids in the world acting like that. Those kids used to laugh at me because I liked bands like Black Sabbath and Judas Priest over Slipknot - Sabbath

They are also another poser fan base just like Korn. Slipknot fans used to wear paintball masks to school with Slipknot shirts along with a chain wallet. It cracked me up. - Sabbath

I love slipknots music ( not the mask ) and if anybody has a problem with it they can suck it.

Slipknot’s fans just don’t stick right with me- they often call other metal fans posers and are sometimes pretty sexist to female fans. They think Slipknot is the greatest band ever and hate on great bands like Judas Priest and Black Sabbath because they aren’t “metal enough”. Don’t get me wrong, Slipknot is a good band, but the fans are terrible.

7 Korn Korn is an American Nu-Metal band from Bakersfield, California, formed in 1993. The band's current lineup includes founding members Jonathan Davis, James "Munky" Shaffer, Brian "Head" Welch, and Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu, with the addition of Ray Luzier, who replaced the band's original member, David more.

Korn fans are just a bunch of wanna bees and they think music with bad language is awesome. Korn fans used to go out and buy Adidas clothes just because Jon Davis did. That's called being a poser. - Sabbath

I love korns debut so don't call me stupid

Honestly I think that the concept of all DT fans being snobs is kind of outdated now. You're more likely to find prog snobs in the Opeth and Steven Wilson fanbase. Shame really as they're like my two favourite bands. - IronSabbathPriest

This shouldn't be here dt fans are nice

"Look at me, long songs with technicality, I'm better than you." This only applies to Opeth and Tool, Not DT - SoldierOfFortune

More annoying within the fanbase; the groups are the Tobias Forgers (ONes who stand behind him because he wrote all the music) Nameless Ghoulees (ones who stand behind them because they didn't get paid.) The Opus Eponymousers (People who want then to recreate the first album over and over again.) The Posers, and the Fangirls. - SoldierOfFortune

The hardcore base tends to be really childish, these are grown ass adults by the way. I feel like they are more into the gimmick than the music itself. I was at the 10/26/15 show where they film “The Devils Hands” I was in front of the line with the most annoying people I have ever meet. Just watch the mini documentary and you’ll know what fans I’m talking about.
