Top Ten Worst Moments In Simpsons Episodes
Chief Woggum has always hilariously failed at being a cop (taking cash bribes, wanting pretzels when the Simpson House exploded with beer, etc.) But Bart. A TEN YEAR OLD KID IS ABOUT TO ATTEMPT SUICIDE! CHIEF WIGGUM ENCOURAGES HIM! Stupid ass. At least Joe LaBoot tried.
At least LaBoot tried. By the way Boys of Bummer sucks so hard it made it more than once on the list.
My god I hate that Fat ass cop. he is a sad excuse for a cop!
The town hasn't been this horrible to Bart sine the time he fell down the well and they refused to get him out because of the trick he played on them.
This is like, the third time that a moment from this episode made it on this list. RALPH Wiggum would make a better cop.
Yeah, but the episode puts them in the wrong for it.
Diddles Ned, I thought you were a nice guy. Really uncool of you
You get mad over fictional bullying?
You are just as bay as your parents.
I don't get why this one is very low... This is the moment that the show got broken beyond repair. Maybe there are worse moments, but AT LEAST the majority of them you can ignore them and pretend they don't exist when you watch other episodes, but THIS MOMENT in particular if you don't like it you can't ignore it, because it affects EVERYTHING that happens later and leaves a permanent shadow on everything aired afterward. The funny Flanders and Homer dynamic that they had in classic years is forever shattered thanks to that garbage. Homer hated Flanders before because Ned was an object of envy, that's the thing that made his hate funny. The Flanders family were a lot funnier when she was alive because they were the opposite of the Simpsons family...
It doesn't help the fact that the reasoning of this moment is beyond stupid... The actress quit for a while, so they killed Maude, when the reality they could just leave her in the background easily without ...more
This episodes marks Ned Flanders' Villainous Ironic Breakdown.
This episode is still one of the best of the post-Millenniums, I mean, Jake Boyman is funny and all.
I'm not a huge fan of metal but even I don't see Judas Priest as death metal.
