Top 10 Worst Movies for Autistic People

I'm autistic myself (I have Asperger's Syndrome), but I don't have it worse than other people do. I know when to not take things too seriously, take a joke, and to not be overly sensitive to certain things. But I'am aware that there's autists out there who do have autism worse than I do so I just wanna let parents know about what types of films they should not show their autistic child depending on how severe his/her autism is. Feel free to add more.

This movie sucks

2 A Clockwork Orange

You do realize this movie was directed by an autistic person, right?

This is my favorite movie of all time (tied with 2001: A Space Odyssey) lol - ClimaxDome

3 Cannibal Holocaust

This film is filled with extreme violence, gore, and animal cruelty (and the most disturbing part is that real animals were killed off during the making of this film).

4 A Serbian Film

I think I would get traumatized from watching this

5 The Human Centipede

Those of you who've seen this movie will agree that a person getting his mouth sewed to another person's anus is absolutely disgusting (and what's worse is that certain things tend to gross autists out more than ever so you'd be pretty screwed up in the head to show an autists this).

Random note: I actually have this movie on my Netflix list and want to watch it. I'm really sorry list.

6 Saw

Extreme violence, blood, and gore is enough to scar most autists for life.

Love this one, too. Still on the spectrum.

7 The Emoji Movie

Yet they compare the movie to autism

Worst movie for anyone, period.

8 Ichi the Killer

9 The Exorcist

Said to be the scariest film ever made, it's about a little girl being possessed by a demon named Pazuzu. And she does all kinds of creepy acts like vomiting, spinning her head, and even masturbating with a crucifix.

10 Begotten

A disturbing film where it re-imagines the Book of Genesis, only to show God killing himself.

I have autism myself and, due to TLK's pro-prejudice message, I feel it is very offensive to autistics like me, even though not everyone has the same opinion, if you know what I mean.

12 Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom

Seriously, A Clockwork Orange is worse than this? Okay, A Clockwork Orange isn't for kids and it definitely has some nudity, and I'm not just saying this because A Clockwork Orange is tied for my favorite movie ever made but also because Salo is MUCH WORSE. Compare a rape scene to a movie where teenagers are literally brutalized and forced to face every torture method possible. - ClimaxDome
