Worst NFL Quarterbacks to Win a Super Bowl

The Top Ten

1 Trent Dilfer

This is a very good representation of the worse QBs to win a Super Bowl. There might be some different opinions that would shuffle the order around, but it's solid... I'm going with this guy because I think of all these guys, I think he had the least amount of skill to play the position. It's close because these top 3 had absolutely no chance of losing, their defenses were so dominant. - Ned964

2 Jim McMahon

He was erratic and played too wide open, but he did have a strong arm and could make some plays downfield. Had no chance to lose his Super Bowl, his defense, for one year anyway, was the best I've ever seen. The Bears got shutouts in both playoff games to get to the Bowl, and were up 46-3 in the Bowl. It's easy to put up a lot of points when you're starting all your drives at your own 35-45 yard line, or better. - Ned964

3 Brad Johnson

I watched Johnson for years at Minnesota, and he was never anything more than serviceable. That was the case in the Super Bowl as well, as his defense took care of Oakland handily - Ned964
