Worst Nickelodeon Moments and Controversies

Yes, there already is a list of the worst Nickelodeon moments, but what about the worst Nickelodeon moments WITH/AND/OR controversies?
The Top Ten
1 The $1 billion lawsuit of Nickelodeon and Viacom removing videos on YouTube

We know we don't own anything Viacom owns, why does Viacom have to constantly take down YouTube videos with their content?

2 Not greenlighting Constant Payne by Micah Wright

Seriously, Nickelodeon? I love Avatar, but you can't greenlight Constant Payne?!

3 Worldwide Day of Play

I understand Nickelodeon wanted to encourage kids to save power, but do they really need to sign off every Fall? Worldwide Day of Play, I'm gonna go outside and play with this constantly looping video...Nope. *changes channel* Cartoon Network, the Best Place for Cartoons.

4 Fred Figglehorn getting a series
5 Nick Studio 10 Nick Studio 10 was a programming block on Nickelodeon which debuted on February 18, 2013 and ended on June 17 of the same year, never returning from a planned hiatus after one additional Labor Day special. It aired weekday afternoons during the traditional school year from the network's headquarters building in Times Square in Manhattan, New York, and was presented live for viewers in the Eastern and Central time zones. ...read more.

It's like Incredible Crew on Cartoon Network, except it was on Nickelodeon, as a block, and constantly interrupts shows on Nickelodeon with an "epic random thing".

6 Nick News

Nick News was very lame, thank God it ended after 23 years.

7 Over Saturation of SpongeBob

Once again, what my username says. But it is better to show old reruns of classic SpongeBob says rather than the new ones. However, I think shows like TMNT 2012 or Legend of Korra deserve more screen time.

I have a love/hate interest in SpongeBob, but come on, Nick, do you really need to air constant reruns of SpongeBob?

8 Korra Mistreatment

So much sexists nowadays, we can watch a female hero show whatever we want. The Nickelodeon company are full of scumbags.

I can't believe Nickelodeon had to take the Legend of Korra off the air.

9 Nick at Nite's "adult programming" issues

Admittedly, Nick at Nite is a good block, but the thing is, wasn't Nickelodeon supposed to be a 24-hour kids' network?

10 The Naked Lady Picture in Oggy and the Cockroaches

It was a duck, and it was just so shocking they would put that on a Nickelodeon kids show, Nickelodeon is so perverted nowadays.

The Contenders
11 Closing Monkey Quest
12 Canceling Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie
13 The Shut Up Incident - the Angry Beavers

It's like if the word "shut" sounded like the bad s-word. Also, Bye Bye Beavers was never greenlit.

14 Not picking up Adventure Time

I hate both Adventure Time and Fanboy and Chum Chum.

15 Canceling Blue's Clues

Hey! THIS was one of Nickelodeon's best decisions.

My childhood

16 Hiring Chris Savino, the man who ruined Dexter's Laboratory and the Powerpuff Girls, to create a show of his own: the Loud House

Um, he sexually harassed women.

17 Adam Sandler Guest Staring at the 2010 Kids' Choice Awards

Adam Sandler is a disaster

18 Mr. Meaty
19 Planet Sheen Planet Sheen is an American CGI animated television series. It is a spinoff series in the Jimmy Neutron franchise, focusing on the show's comic relief, Sheen Estevez, as he gets stranded on another planet. The show was hated by critics and fans for not using any of the original cast (besides the obvious), making Sheen dumber and more annoying than he was in the old show, and for the CGI being worse. It was cancelled after one season.

Good idea, Nick. Give Sheen, the comic relief, his own show.

20 Firing John Kricfalusi from his own show "Ren & Stimpy"

I don't mind if Nickelodeon bans the episode "Man's Best Friend", because of the oar scene. Banning that episode is what I'm fine with Nickelodeon doing, but seriously? To all the people at Nickelodeon, YOU HAD TO FIRE JOHN KRICFALUSI FROM A CARTOON HE PITCHED TO YOU?! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! I know Bob Camp was season 3's showrunner and Jim Gomez was seasons 4 to 5's showrunner, but seriously? Thanks to you, Nickelodeon, John Kricfalusi revived his Nicktoon into an Adult Party Cartoon on Spike T.V.! Shame on you, Nickelodeon.

This could've aired on Nick @ Nite, to be honest. That would've solved the whole issue.

21 Cancelling Harvey Beaks
22 Cancelling Making Fiends
23 Greenliting Dora The Explorer
24 Giving Neopets to JumpStart
