I made a list of the worst clone characters in Mario, now I will make a list about the worst non-clone mario characters.
Toad, known in Japan as Kinopio, is a major character in the Mario Bros. franchise. He assists Princess Peach in the Mushroom Kingdom and will do whatever it takes to help her. He first appeared in the classic game, Super Mario Bros. after being kidnapped by Bowser and his minions. Since then he has been a reappearing character in the Mario Bros. series as a playable character in the New Super Mario Bros. series, Super Mario 3D World, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Super Mario Run, and many other games. Toad, man do I hate this character. So at first he was a decent character. Then thanks to some annoying user on this site I started hate him. So let's see what this character is. First off, he's not a TOAD! He's a radom mushroom guy who has the same annoying voice as every other "toad". Second off, he doesn't even have a nose! And his special abilities are boring to use! Out of all characters in Super Mario Bros. 2, Toad is the most annoying to use, he runs like super fast and he jumps super bad! I would rather play as a character that jumps higher than a character who jumps like crap and runs too fast. Also, did I mention his annoying voice? It sounds like a kid that screams but is yet happy. Ugh, I hate Toad! I used to think he was ok, but thanks to this user I seriously despise him.
Cheep Cheeps are a species of fish that are common recurring enemies in the Mario franchise that are found mostly in the water but can jump out of the water as well. Cheep Cheep, the most generic mario enemy of them all! I'ts just a FISH! A
FISH THAT SWIMS AROUND, THAT'S ALL IT IS! He's no challenge! He's just FILLER! And way more filller that a certain Mario character that hasn't appeareed in a main game, yeah, you name it. But seriously, Cheep Cheep is so horrible! At least Goomba has an awesomne design, this has none.
Bloopers (Often Referred To Bloobers Until Paper Mario, Though Blooper was in use beforehand) are Squid-Like creatures that are found in the ocean. They made their first appearance in Super Mario Bros., and various kinds of them have appeared in the Mario games since, normally as enemies. Mario Party 8 was the first game to feature blooper as a playable character. Bloopers come in different sizes and colors, though the original variety shown in super Mario Bros is white. Blooper, Blooper. Blooper is so annoying! He will always swim to you in the most annoying way ever! And in Mario Kart, he will ink your screen!

Lakitu, known in Japan as Jugem, is a fictional flying character in the Mario franchise. Created by Shigeru Miyamoto, it first appeared in the Nintendo Entertainment System video game Super Mario Bros., where it dropped enemies called Spinies on the stage. Lakitu, the one guy you have to look out below. He throws a bunch of babies out of his cloud and they will attack Mario. Ugh.
His main role is to throw a bunch of spiney guys at you. In Mario Kart he takes FOREVER to save you in every single game except Mario Kart 8 and deluxe. Then he was playable? Even though he was the referee he’s still playable? That makes zero sense!
If you have played Super Mario Odyssey you know how annoying they can get. They will always come after you, and you can't jump on them because of their spikes, and you can't neither capture it. They get so obnoxious in certain games.
Princess Daisy is a fictional character in the Mario series of video games, in which she is the princess of the fictional region of Sarasaland. Before you go all crazy at me, let me tell you why I dislike Daisy in general. First off, she's really bland, she was in ONE main game only, ONE GAME! And she felt like a Peach clone in that game. And yes, I know she has a different personality than Peach, and I know she's not a Peach clone anymore. But I feel like she mostly exists for filler for spin-off games. Add her in a main game and give her a backstory, I would respect her a bit more, and YES, I know Waluigi is pretty much the same, but Waluigi in my opinion is way more iconic and funnier and that's why I like Waluigi more.
I love Daisy, her personality is way different than a stereotypical girly princess which I enjoy. Just wish Nintendo would put her in more games
Roy Koopa is one of the seven Koopalings. In the DIC cartoons Roy is called Bully Koopa. Roy has a tough guy demeanor, but wears pink which is most likely a reference to real men wear pink. Roy also wears hot pink sunglasses and from an angle it looks like he has no eyes. Roy Koopa is my least favourite Koopaling due to how bland he is. He's basicilly Morton, but worse. He's a thug who goes around bullying people and screaming "REAL MEN WEAR PINK! ". Morton had a way more clear personality. Roy has the same personality but he's smarter which kinda sums up the whole thing as a brawler.
Come at me, PhantomStrider haters! Sticker Star gets way too much defenders and one of the main reasons why is Princess Peach for STILL being prissy AND completely dependent ONCE AGAIN (including her crown Kertsi for being aggressively mean-spirited. I guess that is why she never appeared in a plural amount of video games, which she could if she were far more well-developed).
Kamek is a common enemy in the Mario Bros. Franchise. He usually appears in New Super Mario Bros. Games, Super Mario Bros. Games, or other similar games. He also appears in spinoff titles, like Mario Party, in which he is not a playable character but creates an obstacle for the players on their way to winning, like mixing up their orbs. In Super Mario World he will ALWAYS shoot a bunch of random pixels at me! And it's not a fun challenge. It's ANNOYING! He also has an annoying voice! The only reason he isn't higher is because he looks AWESOMNE so I will rank him lower.
I really hate the koopalings.
