Top 10 Worst Officiating Calls In the NFL

Things that were completely wrong and should have been the other way around.
The Top Ten
1 The Tuck Rule - 2002

To this day I feel bad for the raiders about how they used this rule.

2 The Fail Mary - 2012

The replacement officials costed them the game. It was clearly an interception.

This is what started the whole bandwagon fans jumping shift to seattle.

The replacement officials didn't know the professional rules.

3 Mike Renfro's ''Non-Catch'' - 1980

This guy made an amazing catch and somehow ruled him out of bounds.

4 The Calvin Johnson Catch - 2010

The season opener against Bears and how in the hell is that not a TD. It looked more like a TD than in 5 years later with Golden Tate who looked like he didn't have maintained it properly.

The Dez one had higher stakes though lets be honest.

On replay, it is a clean catch, period!

5 Golden Tate's ''Fumbledown'' - 2015
6 The Catch II - 1999

So jerry Rice had appearently fumbled, but was ruled incomplete although he looked he pooped it out, and yet they ended up winning with T.O getting the TD.

7 Holy Roller - 1978

It was meant to be Forward pass but wasn't called and the raiders ended up winning the game.

8 Jay Cutler's Non-fumble - 2008

In what way is this an incomplete pass.

9 The Coin Flip - 1998

Game was between the Steelers and the Lions it went into overtime. Bettis calls tails but the ref says heads but doesn't realize it was actually tails.

10 Jesse James Survive The Ground Rule 2017

It was clearly a catch the refs rig everything for the Patriots

The Contenders
11 Missed Pass Interference on the Rams - 2019 AFC Championship
12 Dez Bryant's Almost Catch - 2015

Dallas would've beaten Seattle. The question is would they beat New England. They could if their defense plays a great game.

This call really really pisses me off. It was clearly a CATCH!

13 Bottlegate - 2001
14 Sugar Bear Hamilton Roughing Ken Stabler
