Top 10 Worst Performers from Week 1 of the NFL 2018 Regular Season

The Top Ten

1 Nathan Peterman

Oh like you weren't gonna see this coming but yeah hands down the most abominable performance goes to a player who shouldn't have started against Baltimore, and while he didn't humiliate himself as dumb founded like against the Chargers last year still no reason to consider having this guy nothing more than a backup QB, to maybe a 3rd stringer at best. - htoutlaws2012

Benched once again in favor of Josh Allen. He doesn’t have much potential. - PackFan2005

2 Marcus Mariota Marcus Ardel Tafuna Taulauniu Mariota is an American football quarterback for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League.

Okay I got two things that could be why this happened one I think Tennessee wanted to get outta Miami, and didn't really care to play, and two even if doing so what made this truly bad for the Titans is the amount of injuries piled up, but Mariota played intentionally bad, and also got hurt twice in the lighting game we actually would like replaced for a bye honestly. - htoutlaws2012

3 Joe Looney

Travis Frederick still dealing with that disease battle, and meanwhile Looney had to step in, and bot it shows Dallas's backups do not stand up to the challenge it seems like on that great wall when its all full force now out I would say about 60% rate. - htoutlaws2012

4 Cameron Jordan Cameron Tyler Jordan is an American football defensive end for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League.

To be honest I can almost pick anybody from Saints's defense they were atrocious out there no sack whatsoever which brings me to the sole leader being Jordan how does this D-line find a way to not get Fitzpatrick under pressure? - htoutlaws2012

Alvin Kamara said that the Saints would have kicked our asses in the NFC Championship game. That's cute. - phillysports

Yeah. I was thinking about me leaving this comment after the game. My bad. Still, this Saints' season doesn't mean anything if they don't do what we did last year. - phillysports

5 Doug Baldwin Douglas Dewayne Baldwin Jr. is an American football wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League.

First target out of the game just like that. Baldwin could of been the big difference from a loss to a win a bet you. - htoutlaws2012

The loss of Baldwin makes Seattle even worse. - PackFan2005

6 Alfred Morris Alfred Bruce Morris is an American football running back for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League.

Honestly I fought Morris would maybe put up a better effort than that, but fumbling the ball really put the running game of the 49ers in gut check hoping somehow Jimmy G could pull it out in a strange way which he failed to do so. - htoutlaws2012

7 Jack Doyle

Stats are not terrible, but when the game is on the line, and you pop out the ball with 2 minutes to go you are the sole reason for this tough loss that looked winnable. - htoutlaws2012

8 Germain Ifedi

Speaking a terrible lineman another first round pick Ifedi has a rough day trying his best to fend off against Von Miller who ate him up with ease. - htoutlaws2012

9 Devonta Freeman Devonta Freeman is an American football running back for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League.

Ugh... not terrible playing wise, but when he took himself outta the equation towards the end of the first game Philly ended up taking down Atlanta due to that missing go to piece in the endzone in the middle being Freeman. I wouldn't blame it on Ryan by any means, but more less what caused them to end up losing in the way the morale toll in this case. - htoutlaws2012

10 D. J. Humphries Dierrias J. Humphries, Jr. is an American football offensive tackle for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League.

I noticed how bad that left side of Arizona was struggling greatly, an why that offense got off as quick as it did because Humphries's

protection was shown to alert Bradford a little too much, and once Washington got their hands on it the game was over. - htoutlaws2012

The Contenders

11 Matthew Stafford John Matthew Stafford is an American football quarterback for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League. more.

Awe yes the most overrated Quarterback in modern history Matthew Stafford. To be fair this was not all his fault despite the evidence of throwing 4 really bad picks, and 5 if you include that rookie corner concentrating in the endzone. Running game non-existence well actually no they didn't try to run the football. The management was very bad on both sides of the football to me the real loser of this team is Matt Patricia looking all dumbfounded on the sideline, and his teammates are not having good chemistry this is gonna be a long season. - htoutlaws2012

I’m surprised he wasn’t on the initial list unless it was made before the Lions game. He had four picks, got injured twice, and one of those interceptions was a pick six. Horrendous game from the veteran. He’s better than this. - PackFan2005

12 Derek Carr Derek Dallas Carr is an American football quarterback for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League.

Well like Stafford I don't solely blame Derek Carr its on Jon Gruden to be honest coming back to reality you have no defense to stop a super power team like the Rams, and while he through 3 bad picks two of them in the final quarter. What happened to the Carr who was great in 2016? - htoutlaws2012
