Its not a good Pokemon game, but it's a good game in general. I would like it better if the battles were turn-based instead of tapping.
Well, it made other gen pokemon, unlike Pokemon Let's go Pikachu/Eevee. Besides, it encourages you to get out, unlike Minecraft.

This is very good and you just need to find friends who play and do raids with them, but if you’re alone well no reason why u hate the game.
Pretty crappy game. Hell, it makes the original Ruby and Sapphire look good.
Why is this a thing?
This game is actually average, I played this game, it's actually fun, not because I HAVE to watch the anime, there's a lot of entertaining stuff to do else than watching T.V., you actually buy merchandise from T.V., you can go outside and talk Pokemon for cards and other cool stuff and I prefer this game over Hey you, Pikachu!
To be honest this isn't really even a game. It's basically buying some episodes on which you can watch with your GameCube. Otherwise it's actually pretty nice.

WHY?!?!? This is an awesome game I got on my 10th birthday. The twist with munna and hydreigon still shocks me. Really fun game,and dungeons were hard ( had to try withered savanna 17 times

No no no no no no no! I hate this game. The difficulty spikes way too often, the music was so bad that I had to literally turn off the sounds. The post game was trash. And how about the Worldcore. I could not for the life of me get past this part of the game. I played this game after I played explorers of sky and this is what I got. Screw this game

I hate this game. Just Pokemon Go (At least you don't have to walk to random places) But just boring. They just forced the mascot into our faces again. They could have just made a game JUST featuring Eevee as your starter, and call it Pokemon Evolve or whatever, and the Eevee can evolve, but later then the original, (Like at level 23 or something) and depending on how. If it's holding a Fire/Water/Thunder stone, it evolves to a Flareon/Vaporeon/Jolteon, and it is holding a Leaf/Ice stone, it evolves to a Glaceon/Leafeon (They changed the evolution process) if you evolve it with friendship without a fairy type move depending on you leveling it up Day/Night, it evolves to a Espeon/Umbreon. And with friendship with a fairy type move, Sylveon. Imagine how much better THAT would've been.
Because Pikachu isn't already an overrated yellow rat! Great job guys, putting it in the spotlight YET AGAIN. Don't even get me started on Let's Go Eevee. Like, where is the logic behind having a starter that can evolve into 8 different - oh wait, it can't! Because we totally want to march over to the Elite Four and take them on with Sand Attack, Helping Hand, and Bite! Absolutely pathetic!
The capture mechanic in this game is pure trash. They better not use the same mechanic in sword and shield otherwise Pokemon will be ruined. Why you may ask? Well it's because apparently some kids think that the capture method in the oldest games is too hard. Seriously you must be retarded if you don't know how to lower a Pokemon health to capture it. And if you keep killing it: use a weaker Pokemon to catch it dumbass.

This is literally directed at 8-year-olds. Not that there's anything wrong with 8-years-olds playing Pokemon, but I could get through Pokemon Heart Gold (which was actually challenging at times) when I was 8. If I was 4 when these games came out, I could probably beat them in under a week. Yeah, I don't know, but everything about these games sucks. Black and White 2 were WAAY better sequels to their predecessors than these games were to theirs. Absolute garbage games, everything is basically spoon-fed to you. And no gyms? No, no, no, these games have ISLAND CHALLENGES. Whoopie.

Seriously, I felt ashamed that people does not save up for a Diamond and pearl or Platinum instead buying this crap at past years ago, clunky controls, confusing gameplay, like seriously, I don't recommend this game unless you like racing games.
Completely unplayeable. One of the first pokemon games on the ds, but they clearly didn't know how to manage the controls. The balloons especially are a pain in the ass and absolutely impossible to control in this already incomprehensible mess. Save your money!
Dull story mode which is a slog to get through. The story sucks and the trainers you have to fight are too common with bland Pokemon. Meaning you'll be battling way too many of the same weak Pokemon. Purifying Pokemon is a chore and it's rarely satisfying when you finally purify them after hours of samey battles.
Actually, this game was pretty good. Pokémon Snap should have made this list, honestly. After all, Pokémon Colosseum actually HAD a cool story, unlike Snap. There were only a few glitches in this game, unlike Snap, and Snap was just flat-out boring as all Hell.
I'm here not to vote but to comment. Sword and Shield is one of the core games that has received a lot of criticism (notoriously the Dexit case) and as a Pokemon fan, I understand all the flaws of SwSh. I'm not here to bash the creators but GameFreak can do better than that in the future. I hope they update the game or make a better Pokemon game in the future!
The Sword is for cutting content, and the Shield is for blocking criticism!
Say what you will to defend it, Dexit is an absolute dealbreaker for me. They left out great Pokémon like half the starters, Shaymin, Darkrai, Zangoose, Seviper, and Breloom in favor of garbage like Qwilfish, Seismetoad, and Garbodor.
Wow! Four comments on the subject and not one dives into the game's problems. Now look, I have nothing against this game. My problems is how I brought myself up playing the main series. I love Red and Blue for the gameplay and how it allows the player to travel openly without the need of backtracking or being unable to progress as the game spoon feeds forced exposition! Now if the game can get my attention in the story, character, or even the climax it's trying to present, it's doing something right. But if you mess up all three, YOU HAVE NO REASON TO EXIST! I love the new Pokemon, but I HATE Generation Six. I hate Kalos! I hate the characters! And I hate how easy the game is! And most of all, I. HATE. THE STORY! I haven't been this mad with a main series Pokemon game in my entire life!
This game may be too easy and has lame characters, but it's solid in its own right. Still weaker than most main series games.
