This is a young band like r5, but the reason why they are on the list is because I just can't stand them. At least they have a few catchy songs.

Kesha is an animal rights activist and she works for H.S.I. (Humane Society International). Kesha also stands up for L.G.B.T. rights in America The fact that Ke$ha cannot sing makes me really angry. Her songs at not bad, hell some of them are really enjoyable, but she just can't sing good. The only time she really sang good was with pit bull for timber. Besides that, she never really sang great on her tracks, but her ideas are good.
How is Ke$ha rock?! The very fact of calling her rock just makes me angry!

Maroon 5 is an American pop/pop rock band that originated in Los Angeles, California. Before the current group was established, the original four members, Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael Mickey Madden and Ryan Dusick, formed a band known as Kara's Flowers in 1994, while they were still in high school. This band is a total waste right now, and for some strange reason, people still like them. They were better in the past than they are now. They were never perfect, but at least they produced some decent songs between 2004 and 2010. After releasing the most overrated song I have ever heard in 2011, Moves Like Jagger, I stopped liking them.
When Payphone came out, I actually liked it. However, when they released One More Night, my opinion changed and I began to dislike them. Love Somebody and Daylight were not bad, but then came Maps. I couldn't stand this song at all because of its pop-oriented sound. I understand that they moved away from Pop Rock, but the chorus in this song was particularly annoying. After listening to the song a bit more, it improved in my eyes. The production was not bad. It was the lyrics that bothered me.
Animals was released afterward, and I completely hated it. Listening to it almost made me vomit once. Later, I realized that the production was the best part of the song, but the rest was garbage. The latest single from their newest album, V, is Sugar, a song I absolutely detest. Why even release this dance-pop, disco-pop song that makes no sense? It is both overplayed and overrated.
Another issue is that the band should really be renamed Adam Levine, as that's essentially what it has become. Adam probably wants to keep the current name because it's very popular. If you're a big fan of their new music, I don't hate you. I just think you should try listening to bands like OneRepublic, The Fray, Coldplay, Train, etc. Maroon 5 is highly overrated.

They are young and supposed to be stupid, but when you are young and trying to make songs out there that are just not catchy enough, A person like me will find this band very boring and lame. Yes they are talented, but the thing that gets me angry about this group is that they don't right their own songs. If You all are young teens and are putting out songs, at least put some effort to right the song. I know their are worse groups than this like BTR, but they are pop to me, other wise, BTR would be 2. You can't really put them in the "pop rock" category because they're songs aren't meant to be poppy and upbeat. They do make some upbeat songs but they try to appeal different genres, yet they never really dive into pop.
This duo is nothing good really. Their song are not so catchy, and they could have been number 2. But the thing about them is that they are not catchy.
I absolutely hated this band at first. The lyrics made no sense to me and it wasn't catchy. But slowly my taste in changed and I found tøp really catchy and the lyrics were suddenly so deep. Give tøp a try, and check out Vessel, one of their older albums. They don't disappoint.
