Worst Protagonist Cartoon Characters

I was inspired by the list RoseRedFlower made, so I made this
The Top Ten
1 Ben - Ben 10 Omniverse

Is he really that bad? I haven't watched Ben 10 for years now, but from what I remember he wasn't a very bad character.

2 Lloyd - Ninjago

What an annoying little crap. Makes you want to throw a brick at him.

Not annoying anymore, he's more mature now

3 Barney The Dinosaur Barney The Dinosaur is a purple dinosaur from the TV series "Barney and Friends", as well as the VHS series before that known as "Barney and the Backyard Gang". He was created by Sheryl Leach in 1987, to entertain her 2 year old son. He is infamously known for his "I Love You" song, and his TV series was hated by many people, and even voted by TV Guide as the 50th worst TV Show of all time.
4 Caillou - Caillou Caillou, which means "pebble" or "stone" in French, is the self-proclaimed "Prince of Imagination." He is a four-year-old boy who serves as the main protagonist of the TV series and books, both of which share his name. Caillou is bald and is usually seen wearing a yellow short-sleeved shirt with a blue cap.

I wanna throw a building at that brat..

5 Horrid Henry - Horrid Henry Horrid Henry is the main character in the British kids show based on the book series of the same name. He is shown to be horrid to most people, and gets sent to his room.

I liked the books, but the show is garbage

6 Sanjay - Sanjay and Craig
7 Lincoln Loud - The Loud House

I think I kinda hate The Loud House now

8 Dora - Dora the Explorer Dora is the main protagonist in the show "Dora the Explorer". Her main occupation is exploring with her monkey friend, Boots.

She's got to be the stupidest character ever created!

9 Makoto Itou - School Days Makoto Itou is a character from the visual novel and anime series "School Days." He initially comes across as a shy and average high school student but becomes infamously known for his morally questionable choices as the series progresses. His relationships with multiple characters grow increasingly complex and destructive, leading to a series of dramatic events. Makoto's actions and their consequences make him a highly controversial figure in the world of anime.

Stop adding anime characters on a list about cartoon characters

Self explanatory.

10 Eustace - Courage The Cowardly Dog

Except for when he blows up Di Lung's Corvette, at least

The Contenders
11 Madoka Kaname - Puella Magi Madoka Magica Madoka Kaname is the titular protagonist of the 2011 anime series Puella Magi Madoka Magica and its related media.
12 Ash Ketchum - Pokemon Ash Ketchum, known as Satoshi in Japan, is a fictional main character in the Pokémon franchise owned by Nintendo. Ash is training to be a Pokemon Master, with his buddy Pikachu. Ash tries to stop the evil Team Rocket from stealing his Pikachu.

Even with the misconception that Pokemon is a cartoon, Ash is an anime protagonist. Get him off here.

Why can't they make May or Dawn the protagonist?

Who added this here?

13 Pico - Boku no pico Pico is from the anime "Boku No Pico". Pico was produced by Natural High. Pico (ぴこ Piko) is a blonde boy who works part-time at Tamotsu's grandfather's bar in the summer. He's often shown swimming, usually naked or in a blue Speedo. He has worn girls' clothing ever since Tamotsu gave some to him as a gift. Later, hurt that Tamotsu wouldn't define their relationship, he rebels by cutting off some locks of his hair and runs away. The following summer, he spots Chico swimming nude in a stream while cycling by. He soon becomes friends with Chico, who calls him oniichan (big brother) and forms a sexual relationship with him. Pico and Chico then meet a young male named CoCo, and the series concludes ...read more.

I think this needs no explanation...

14 Kion - The Lion Guard Kion is the main protagonist of the 2016 Disney Junior The Lion King spin-off series "The Lion Guard". He is a lion cub who is the youngest child of Simba and Nala and is the younger brother of Kiara. He is the leader and fiercest member of the Lion Guard as well as prince of the Pride Lands. He is voiced by Max Charles. He has been described as "level-headed", "open-minded", and "heroic".

Doesn't the whole Lion Guard thing sound kinda fanfic-y in the first place? Granted that parts of Lion King II sound fanfic-y as well but at least they don't overdo it like Lion Guard does. It's like yeah remember when Scar was a Lion Guard leader? No. Or hey remember that time in Lion King II when Kiara had a brother? No. So many plot holes.

TLG is the worst show of this generation. We don't need another TLK spinoff.

15 Wally/Waldo - Where's Wally/Waldo?: The Animated Series

Silly cartoon.

16 Robin - Teen Titans Go! Robin, is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in association with the superhero Batman.

Introduced in Walt Disney Animation's 32nd animated feature film The Lion King (1994), the character subsequently appears in its sequels The Lion King II: Simba's Pride (1998) and The Lion King 1½ (2004).

Because he's a horrible brat and enforcer.
