Worst Quarterbacks of the 2018 NFL Season

The Top Ten
1 Blake Bortles Blake Bortles is an American football quarterback for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League.

So much for taking the next level huh Bortles. I fought he would get better after how he played down the stretch pretty good, but no his the same Blake Bortles we all know is average at best, but he has won two playoff games so that's something of importance right? Regardless he'll be dealt with by somebody whose desperate in taking him or they'll sacrifice the pay they just gave him boy Coughlin was a mistake that was.

2 Jameis Winston Jameis L. Winston is an American football quarterback for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League.

Ryan Fitzmagic at least had a great September start for the Bucs Winston has been very bad in his 4th season, and he'll be broomed out as a starter in the league which now look to not be the case. Crab legs is probably gonna backup somebody else in another city it ain't gonna be in Tampa.

Famous Jameis has not been doing so hot. FitzMagic at least had some swagger but Jameis hasn’t had that. His best bet is honestly being a backup

3 Nathan Peterman

When he was the starter in Buffalo he had a ratio of throwing more bad interceptions than touchdowns just not a starting NFL quarterback nor a solid backup. one thing I'll never understand is how much trust he got with McDermott is the biggest head scratcher in the first game he played he threw terribly, and he still never progressed well at all.

He was picked up by the Raiders. I thought they were going to start him to try and secure the first overall pick. Too late now

It seems like he gave the defenses of the NFL a treat as he’d throw an interception what felt like every other pass. I’m shocked that Oakland wants him. Why the hell would they bring him in? Just watch him take over the starting job as Derek Carr gets traded for another first round pick

4 Sam Bradford Samuel "Sam" Jacob Bradford is an American football quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. He was drafted by the St. Louis Rams with the first overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. He played college football at Oklahoma and as a redshirt sophomore Bradford became only the second sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy.

Again as a Viking fan I say thank you cardinals for getting this mediocre quarter back off our hands but the problem was we got another mediocre quarter back in Kirk Cousins

5 Josh Rosen

Between two similar rookies with bad first years I have not seen a game from Josh Rosen where he looked decent. Rosen has been overshadowed thanks to horrid coaches, and them not utilizing the offense correctly if you want this guy to look like the franchise guy I'd say broom up Wilks and his guys.

To be fair the Cardinals have a near lifeless offense. Who’s all left? Larry Fitzgerald and Who exactly? Obviously he has not performed well. However I still think he could be okay with some decent offensive weapons

6 Eli Manning Elisha Nelson "Eli" Manning is a former American football quarterback who played his entire career for the New York Giants of the National Football League. He is the younger brother of former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning.
7 Sam Darnold Samuel Richard Darnold is an American football quarterback for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League.

Darnold has been wildly inconsistent, but there is a sign he can get better, but not with Todd Bowles's in the way. He looked good the first game, look fairly well against the Colts other than that though its on and off bad awareness, and he even got hurt pretty good.

Darnold is too high in my opinion. He’s shown flashes of being a franchise quarterback despite the interceptions. He just has little talent around him, as the Jets are the least talented team in the NFL (even Oakland has more quality players).

8 Ryan Tannehill Ryan Timothy Tannehill III is an American football quarterback for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League. He previously played for the Miami Dolphins from 2012 to 2018.
9 C.J. Beathard

Like I said Beathard has only won once in his NFL career, and for a backup quarterback he played okay however once again like the previous season his not the winner you need sorry, but it's the truth. Nick Mullens won a game you might as well build on that or he pretty much C.J. Beathard 2.0 who knows. All I know is if I'm the 49ers next you would not want to see your backup QB come in due to Jimmy Garoppolo getting roughed up that'd be the worst case scenario than that will result in the head coach getting fired.

I think that he will either be traded or simply cut, because Nick Mullens has proved that he's a better quarterback that Beathard, who had two chances to prove that he's worth something, and has failed both times. He has just one win as a starter compared to Mullen who has several wins, with an equally weak supporting cast that was further depleted by injuries.

10 Joe Flacco Joseph Vincent Flacco is an American football quarterback for the New York Jets of the National Football League.
The Contenders
11 Matthew Stafford John Matthew Stafford is an American football quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League. The #1 overall pick in 2009 selected by The Detroit Lions, Stafford has a critical acclaim in his stats. Stafford is the fastest player in NFL history to reach 30,000 passing yards. In 2016, he also broke the record for most comebacks in a season with eight. Stafford maybe one of the better Lions Quarterbacks in recent memory, but his record on the road against winning teams may haunt him with the 5-46 record. He also one of two veteran active quarterbacks to have never won a playoff game the other being Andy Dalton. In 2021, he was traded to the Los Angeles Rams.

And now we come to the part where my head will explode talking about this guy Matthew Stafford. Got paid 127 million last year here he is year two of the million dollar gimmick and is stinking the joint,a and while you cold blame Jim Bob Cooter why not blame the guy who wanted him back in Stat padford. I would be stunned and happy if Stafford was traded seeing him play this season has been dreadful and its clear he does not like the Lion way being done in Detroit.

12 Case Keenum Casey Austin "Case" Keenum is an American football quarterback for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League.
13 Brock Osweiler Brock Alan Osweiler is an American football quarterback for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League.

He at least had a good game against a tough defense in Da Bears, but once that shipped sailed he got stale quickly, and Tannehill took back over from injury.

14 Derek Carr Derek Dallas Carr is an American football quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League.

While he isn't a bad quarterback he needs better weapons around him not aging players like Jordy Nelson it looks to be. Carr needs help, and if he is in the plans of Gruden than find what you can. The percentage number shave looked the worse though in his career so yeah his regressed a little bit.

If he wants to be able to rebound from his regression he either needs to A.) join another team
Or
B.) Get some weapons around him
Having a bunch of old past their prime veterans isn’t going to help matters.

15 Andy Dalton Andrew Gregory Dalton is an American football quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League.

The red Rifle is literally the same exact player as Stafford average at best the best years of his career are now behind him it's a matter of if this organization acres about change. Dalton and Marvin Lewis have reached their ceiling at this point.

16 Kirk Cousins Kirk Cousins is an American football quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League.
17 Lamar Jackson
18 Josh Allen
