Worst Rock Bands in Kerrang!

Kerrang use to be pretty decent but there are so many awful bands that pop up in the mag now, it makes me furious. I get that they are for all rock, and so am I but some of these bands are so over rated I might just die.
The Top Ten
1 Black Veil Brides Black Veil Brides is an American rock band currently consisting of Andy Biersack (vocals), Jinxx (guitar), Jake Pitts (guitar), Christian Coma (drums) and Ashley Purdy (bass), that formed in 2006 in Ohio. In the beginning of their career, the band was heavily associated with the emo subculture, and had strong metalcore, screamo and alternative influences, however got more metal oriented over the years. Their songs usually carry a message of acceptance, believing in yourself and being individual and different. Among their most well known songs are "Knives and Pens", "Rebel Love Song", "In the End" and "Fallen Angels".

I hate these guys. I don't get them, and on top of that they are just ripping off nearly every riff, song and band from the 80s. Oh and making them worse of course.

In every single issue of the Kerrang magazine there is always a black veil brides poster and its really annoying

2 Paramore Paramore is an American rock band from Franklin, Tennessee, formed in 2004. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, guitarist Taylor York, and drummer Zac Farro.

I think most of the hype around this band is because of Haylee, the lead singer. Very average band, so boring to listen to!

3 Bring Me the Horizon Bring Me the Horizon is a British rock band from Sheffield, Yorkshire. Formed in 2004, the group currently consists of vocalist Oliver Sykes, guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Matt Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls, and keyboardist Jordan Fish. They are signed to RCA Records globally and Columbia Records exclusively in the US. The style of their early work, including their debut album Count Your Blessings, has primarily been described as deathcore, but they started to adopt a more eclectic style of metalcore on subsequent albums. Furthermore, their latest album That's the Spirit marked a shift in their sound to less aggressive rock music styles. ...read more.

Only good band played on Kerrang to be honest. Probably only band played on Kerrang with above a 70 on metacritic

Dear god Ollie is a winy little pric! Their music is OK but I cannot stand his voice.

4 Nickelback Nickelback is a Canadian post-grunge band formed in 1995 in Hanna, Alberta, Canada. The band is composed of guitarist and lead vocalist Chad Kroeger, guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocalist Ryan Peake, bassist Mike Kroeger, and drummer Daniel Adair.

These guys were alright when they started up, kinda grunge, but after How You Remind Me, they just kept releasing generic rock songs that all sound the bloody same!

5 Fall Out Boy Fall Out Boy is an American pop punk band formed in Wilmette, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, in 2001. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Patrick Stump, bassist Pete Wentz, guitarist Joe Trohman, and drummer Andy Hurley.

They're just jealous of Andy Biersack

6 30 Seconds to Mars Thirty Seconds to Mars (commonly stylized as 30 Seconds to Mars) is an American alternative rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1998. The band currently consists of brothers Jared and Shannon Leto.

Their music started off good but just got worse and worse. Their recent album again is just pop, I cannot actually hear any "rock" guitar riffs. Jared also loves himself and their "messages" in their songs are just pretentious.

7 Good Charlote

Another band that use to be good. Tried to go in a new "dark" direction which I kinda liked but ultimately never worked, so went back to their "old" ways but this time around they were just generic and boring.

8 All Time Low All Time Low is an American pop punk band from Towson, Maryland, a suburb of Baltimore, formed in 2003. The band currently consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Alex Gaskarth, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Jack Barakat, bassist and backing vocalist Zack Merrick and drummer Rian Dawson.

Just god awful. Enough said.

9 Steal Panthers
10 Avenge Sevenfold

Again another band I am put off by, because of the lead singer. (I don't even know his name) He is a moron, he thinks metal was invented in America to start of with, when it wasn't, you can thank Black Sabbath for that. Their music is just the same pumped out over and over again and sleezy with no feeling. Apart from maybe one or two songs. I can admit to liking one or two songs, only reason why they are number 10.
