Top 10 Worst Rock Song Covers of the 2000s and 2010s

Some rock song covers are good others are just really crappy. For this I'm only including the 2000s and 2010s decades.
The Top Ten
1 Bring Me to Life - Ariana Grande (Evanescence)

Have you even watched her video? I won't waste my time on that.

Does Ariana Grande have vocal skills like Amy Lee?

Not even close to the original song.

2 We Are The Champions - Green Day (Queen)

No offense, but Freddie Mercury had an awesome voice, while Billie doesn't have that kind of voice, especially since he can't hold notes. People say that he didn't take singing lessons in order to take guitar lessons. So yeah, my vote goes for this song.

I think Billie's a good singer and all, but he can't sing this song like Freddie Mercury can. He just doesn't have the charisma.

What was Green Day thinking, covering this song?

3 5 Seconds of Summer - American Idiot (Green Day)

The original American Idiot song by Green Day had great lyrics, a punk feel, and a cool music video. The 5 Seconds of Summer cover had no punk feel, boring singing, and a very shallow performance.

Billie doesn't have a good voice, but he has strong guitar skills, especially in punk rock. 5 Seconds doesn't have that.

The 5 Seconds of Summer version is good, but the Green Day version is better.

4 Bohemian Rhapsody - Panic! at the Disco (Queen)

Panic! At the Disco was okay as a rock band. They weren't terrible. But now that it's Brendon Urie's solo project, it's terrible.

Worst Queen cover I've ever heard.

5 Whole Lotta Rosie - Guns N Roses (AC/DC)

Just not even good. I prefer the original version because it sounded better.

6 Limp Bizkit - Welcome Home (Metallica)

Limp Bizkit cannot sing this song at all. The way it was performed was just plain terrible. It's a bad Metallica cover and possibly the worst rock song I've ever listened to.

7 Nutshell - Seether (Alice in Chains)

If you want a good Alice in Chains cover, listen to Three Days Grace's Rooster cover. It sounds better than this half-assed Seether cover of Nutshell.

8 Sad but True - Nickelback (Metallica)

No, this is a very good cover, and I am a die-hard Metallica fan. Chad Kroeger sounds exactly like James Hetfield and so on. Moreover, it was a cover played live. Please find on YouTube "Nickelback live singing Metallica's 'Sad But True'" at Rock Am Ring in Germany. After this, you may conclude that this is actually a great cover.

9 Another Brick in the Wall Pt. 2 - Korn (Pink Floyd)
10 My Hero - Paramore (Foo Fighters)

Hayley Williams is a good singer, but she just can't sing this song like Dave Grohl can.

The Contenders
11 Korn - One (Metallica)

Very crappy when you compare it to the original.

I like this. Not as good as the original, but I don't think it sucked.

12 The Sound of Silence - Nevermore (Simon & Garfunkel)

Never heard this cover, but I know that the Disturbed cover was awesome.

This song shouldn't be touched.

13 Africa - Weezer (Toto)
14 Gone Away - Five Finger Death Punch

Completely ruins the meaning of the original.

15 Baker Street - Foo Fighters (Gerry Rafferty)

Absolutely the worst song cover I've ever heard in my life. Don't get me wrong, I like the Foo Fighters. Baker Street should never be covered. It's too perfect of a song to be covered.

The sound mixing in the cover sucks, it's not played properly, and the Foo Fighters just don't mix well with the song.
