Top 10 Worst Rock Song Covers of the 2000s and 2010s

Some rock song covers are good others are just really crappy. For this I'm only including the 2000s and 2010s decades.
The Top Ten
1 Limp Bizkit - Welcome Home (Metallica)

Limp Bizkit cannot sing this song at all. And the way it was performed was just plain s*****. It's a terrible Metallica cover and possibly the worst Rock song I've ever listened to.

2 Bohemian Rhapsody - Panic! at the Disco (Queen)

I'd say Kanye West's version is the worst.

Worst Queen cover I've ever heard.

3 Bring Me to Life - Ariana Grande (Evanescence)

You even watched her video?! I wont waste my time in that.

Does Ariana Grande have vocal skills like amy lee?

Not even close to the original song.

She doesn't even sing rock songs

4 5 Seconds of Summer - American Idiot (Green Day)

The original American Idiot song by Green Day had great lyrics, a punk feel and a cool music video. The 5 seconds of Summer cover had no punk feel, boring singing and a very shallow performance.

Billie doesn't have good voice but he has good guitar skills especially in punk rock,5 seconds haven't got that.

5 We Are The Champions - Green Day (Queen)

I think Billie's a good singer and all but he can't sing this song like Freddie Mercury can he just doesn't have the charisma.

What were Green Day thinking covering this song?

No offense but freddie mercury had an awesome voice but billie doesn't have that kind of voice, especially he can't hold notes.people say that he didn't take singing lessons in order to take guitar lessons.so yeah my vote goes for this song.

6 Whole Lotta Rosie - Guns N Roses (AC/DC)

Just not even good I prefer the original version cause it sounded better.

7 My Hero - Paramore (Foo Fighters)

Hayley Williams is a good singer but she just can't sing this song like Dave Grohl can.

8 Nutshell - Seether (Alice in Chains)

If you want a good Alice in Chains cover listen to Three Days Grace's Rooster cover it sounds better then this half-assed Seether cover of Nutshell.

9 Korn - One (Metallica)

I like this. Not as good as the original, but I don't think it sucked

Very crappy when you compare it to the original.

10 Sad but True - Nickelback (Metallica)

NO, this is a very good cover and I am a die hard Metallica fan - Chad Kroeger sounds exactly like James Hetfield and so on. Moreover, it was a cover played live. Please find on youtube "Nickelback live singing Metallica's Sad But True" at Rock Am Ring in Germany. After this you may conclude that this is actually a great cover.

You know a cover sucks when Chad Kroger's singing it.

That's why I hate assumptions - because they are often wrong. The cover is great. And Chad Kroger did NOT suck at all - he sounded exactly like James Hetfield.

The Contenders
11 Another Brick in the Wall Pt. 2 - Korn (Pink Floyd)
12 The Sound of Silence - Nevermore (Simon & Garfunkel)

Never heard this cover but I know that the Disturbed cover was awesome.

This song shouldn't be touched

Disturbed did it well. I don't think anyone should try the same, though, so I half agree.

13 Baker Street - Foo Fighters (Gerry Rafferty)

Absolutely the worst song cover I've ever heard in my life. Don't get me wrong, I like the foo fighters. Baker Street should never be covered. It's too perfect of a song to be covered. The sound mixing in the cover sucks, it's not played properly, and the foo fighters just don't mix well with the song.

14 Africa - Weezer (Toto)
