Top Ten Worst Role Models for Kids

The Top Ten
1 Miley Cyrus Miley Ray Hemsworth (born Destiny Hope Cyrus), known as Miley Cyrus, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She was born on November 23, 1992, in Franklin, Tennessee, to Tish Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus. Her voice type is Mezzo-Soprano and has 4 octaves. She became a teen idol starring as the character Miley Stewart in the Disney Channel television series Hannah Montana in 2006. After that... read more

Look, no one expected Miley to stay a disney chick forever. Obviously she was going to perform more mature songs eventually. She was the most loved disney girl of all time. She was scared she would only be seen as Hannah, so she went totally overboard by losing her clothes, twerking, writing disgusting music, and doing drugs to say she was done with disney. There is such thing as growing up without losing yourself (and your clothes). Victoria justice is in her 20's and you don't see her acting sleazy. She is very disrespectful. She knew how big her kid fan base was but she still decided to just throw them to the side, leaving them out on the curb. She needs to check herself. I am NOT saying she should go back to disney music, but at least make appropriate music and get some damn clothes

This list is just another boring "hate celebrity" excuse. Really, this is actually getting old and extremely annoying. And the fact that Dora (a freaking cartoon character) is on the list is just showing that you guys have nothing better to do with your time.

2 Osama Bin Laden Osama Bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden was a Saudi Arabian-born stateless terrorist. He was a founder of al-Qaeda, the organization that claimed responsibility for the September 11 attacks on the United States, along with numerous other mass-casualty attacks against civilian and military targets worldwide.

He should be the #1. He ruined everything for my country. I hope Allah helps Iraq with the terrorism now.

So I guess Elmo is a worse role model then a notorious terrorist. Yep,yep, okay. The worlds people are not insane. Not at all.

Kids will learn about 9/11 in school and hate him, so at least there's that.

Elmo and Dora are much worse because the voters smoke crack on a daily basis

3 Adolf Hitler Adolf Hitler (April 20, 1889 - April 30, 1945) was a German politician of Austrian descent who served as the leader of the Nazi Party since 1921, Chancellor of Germany since 1933, and Führer of Nazi Germany since 1934. As dictator of Nazi Germany, he reversed the Treaty of Versailles, initiated World War II in Europe with the invasion of Poland in September 1939, and was a central figure of the Holocaust. He committed suicide two days before Soviet soldiers stormed his underground shelter in Berlin.

Hitler used to be a good person. Once, this child was crying because he bumped into a chair. Hitler then blew on the injured area, then hit himself with the chair. He only was bad because he went through a lot of difficult things in life. Though I still see why he is quite a preposterous being...

Yes he committed mass genocide on Jews. Look at the smaller details! He wanted to build a museum dedicated to Jews after they died, he had campaigns against smoking and poverty! Poverty and smoking are two of the biggest draw backs to society, and trying to stop them is a good thing.

Honestly just because he would make museums for jews doesn't mean he should kill them in the first place that would be unnecessary, why not just make the museum for them without going on a murder rampage?

He slaughtered millions of people because of reasons that should not have affected him, but it did!
He started war, which killed millions of people.
He was pure evil, pure, pure evil.

4 Justin Bieber Justin Drew Bieber (born March 1, 1994) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and record producer. He currently resides in Ontario, Canada and is Christian. He is the son of author Pattie Mallette.

Justin Bieber is best known for his songs "Baby" and "What Do You Mean". He currently has seven videos that exceed 1 billion views on YouTube, which are "Baby", "What Do You Mean?", "Sorry", "Love Yourself",... read more

No duh he's the worst role model! Horrible! He only got in because of his abs. His videos, songs, lyrics are disturbing and disgusting. He's a disgrace to men. Every song, he's ready for sex. He's mean to his fans, he spits on them. He's the anti-feminist. He treats women like sex toys. He has no respect for his body and he refuses to acknowledge his privilege. Along with chris brown, Orlando bloom, Ryan lochte, Kanye west, Eminem, drake, Robin thicke, etc he should not be considered a role model for boys. Daniel Radcliffe is a good role model, because he promotes LGBT and he's a strong feminist unlike these asses I mentioned earlier

He is a horrible singer, he treats horrible to all the journalists and the media like he's something special, he is not at all friendly with his fans and he looks like a 10 year old, grow up!

I'm a belieber and I think his not that bad at all. There a lot more other bad role models like Kanye west. He donates and helps a few homeless people out. His not actually that bad.

5 Nicki Minaj Onika Tanya Maraj, known professionally as Nicki Minaj (born December 8, 1982) is a Trinidadian/American rapper / pop music artist. Minaj is most known for her songs such as "Anaconda", "Super Bass", "Starships" and her feature on "Bang Bang".

Despite her controversial songs, Brent Staples from "The New York Times" claimed her to be 'the most influential female rapper of all time', presumably... read more

In all honesty, I'd rather have George W. Bush [And I really hate him! ] as a role model than this disgrace to both music and women. All of these pop and rap artist that everyone listens too just makes me sick. Parents a low their children to listen to this crap, thus learning a whole bunch of disgusting things. She and other "musicians" of today are the main reasons why all of my peers are absolutely disgusting. Last year my school had fifty fights. Fifty. I wonder who may have influenced it...? Oh, I know! Today's crappy, mainstream "musicians."

Why are you blaming Nicki? She never said at any point that her music is specifically for kids. it's the parents fault's for allowing their children to listen to her in the first place. she's one of the only feminists I know of (today) who also doesn't body shame and promotes so much more great things. if she's on this list, Meghan Trainor should be too!

6 Britney Spears Britney Jean Spears, born on December 2, 1981, is an American former singer and actress. She was born in McComb, Mississippi, and raised in Kentwood, Louisiana. As a child, she performed acting roles in stage productions and television shows, such as "The Mickey Mouse Club," before signing with Jive Records in 1997... read more

Britney was a product from the very moment she signed on with her label. She could've been as good a vocalist as Christina Aguilera, if not better, but she gave up that incredible voice she had when she auditioned on Star Search, to that moany, nasally tone of hers.

I just don't like the way she you know, "strips" onstage. It's not for children really. by the way, what's wrong with Kirk Hammett? I don't find anything bad about him. He has own chidren and I think he quit with drugs and stuff a long time ago.

Marilyn Manson is one of the best role models around and this is coming from someone who isn't much of a fan of his music.

Kirk Hammett has no bad influence at all.

7 Joseph Stalin Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin was a Georgian dictator, and was the leader of the Soviet Union from the mid-1920s until his death in 1953. Holding the post of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, he was effectively the dictator of the state.

All the bad role models... and thinking of terrible role models, I basically focused on Stalin.

Betrayed the revolution for his own personal gain(Not that the other Bolsheviks were much better but still) and then ended up killing more people than Hitler.

He killed more than twice as many people than Hitler killed.

He killed many... need to say more?

8 George W Bush George Walker Bush is an American politician and businessman who was born in July 6, 1946. He served as the 43rd President of the United States from 2001 to 2009 and 46th Governor of Texas from 1995 to 2000. He is the eldest son of Barbara and George H. W.

How is Bush a bad influence? And why are people suddenly hating U.S. Presidents for no reason?

Kids, be smart, don't be like Bush.

For many bad reasons

Barack Obama has made George W. Bush look like Sir Winston Churchill.

9 Kanye West Ye (born Kanye Omari West; June 8, 1977) is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer and fashion designer. He is regarded as one of the most influential, as well as controversial, artists of the 21st century. ...read more.

He is a bad role model he thinks he is Jesus just like the Pope the 2 would make good friends because:
1. They both pretend to be God
2. They both say they are Jesus

Meh. Meghan Trainor makes him look self-hating. On another note some kids I meet already think they're the greatest thing created since the Sun.

I mean, some of the things people describe to be my best qualities were inspired by him.

Not true, he inspires lots of people with his amazing skills as a producer.

10 Paris Hilton Paris Whitney Hilton is an American businesswoman, socialite, television personality, model, actress, singer, DJ, and author.

Lots of people do drugs and drink, doesn't mean there not a good influence. Words speak influence not actions. Only thing is Paris does not speak well and her actions reflect worse on her. Terrible role model.

What else DOES Paris Hilton do apart from being beautiful?

Just watch the south park episode and you'll understand.

Worst role model ever

The Contenders
11 Stephen Paddock Stephen Craig Paddock (April 9, 1953 – October 1, 2017) was an American mass murderer who perpetrated the 2017 Las Vegas shooting. Paddock opened fire into a crowd of approximately 22,000 concert-goers attending a country music festival on the Las Vegas Strip, killing 60 people (including himself) ...read more.
12 Dora Dora is the main protagonist in the show "Dora the Explorer". Her main occupation is exploring with her monkey friend, Boots.

Dora is a character from a little kids show! She isn't that bad of an influence as people such as Nicki Minaj or Stalin, or Hitler.

She's a better role model than anyone on this list. Inspiring kids to get outdoors, and learn a new language!

She teaches little kids to go outside and start exploring by yourself. She dose not even have a brain

She has got some problems... Exploring at the age of 5 by yourself means she's been high or somthing

13 Caillou Caillou, which means "pebble" or "stone" in French, is the self-proclaimed "Prince of Imagination." He is a four-year-old boy who serves as the main protagonist of the TV series and books, both of which share his name. Caillou is bald and is usually seen wearing a yellow short-sleeved shirt with a blue cap.

I've talked about Caillou a lot but it is absolutely true thst he's a bad role model. The leader of all the spoiled brats in movies and T.V.. Think Massie Block from The Clique, led by Caillou with Diamond Tiara from MLP, Katsuma from Moshi Monsters Movie and Heather from Total Drama Island and some of the others... Caillou leds them all to throw a tantrum across the world... just kidding. But I like this story. Maybe there'll be a published novel someday.

If he doesn't get what he wants he throws a temper tantrum. I saw an episode when he thought he was going to the circus and his dad said that they are not going. He started to throw a temper tantrum. Why would they teach kids that throwing a temper tantrum can help you get what you want.

His parents are so patient

Caillou: Rosie got more ice cream! WAAA

Caillous Dad: Now Caillou, we ran out of Ice Cream

Caillous Mom: Now Caillou, everyone gets the same amount of Ice Cream

Why is Miley Cyrus number 1? Sure she twerks and sure she does drugs, but at least she isn't a whiny spoiled brat! I have to admit, he does have a good theme song

14 Adam Lanza Adam Peter Lanza (April 22, 1992 - December 14, 2012) was an American spree killer and mass murderer who shot his mother, Nancy Lanza, in the head at her home in Newtown, Connecticut, on December 14, 2012, before traveling to the nearby Sandy Hook Elementary School, where he shot and killed 20 students between the ages of 5 and 10, and six adult workers. He then committed suicide by shooting himself in the lower rear portion of his head with a Glock 20SF in classroom 10.

Why does he look so much like someone who has previously played in one of those really crappy live action Cartoon Network shows from the late 2000s?

He killed 20 children and 6 adults in Connecticut in 2012.

15 Vegeta Vegeta is an anime fictional character from the anime series, Dragon Ball Z, created by Akira Toriyama.

Great fighter but he should stop blaming everyone else, for the mistakes even he created.

Always blaming Goku for failures...

16 Eminem Eminem, born Marshall Bruce Mathers III, is an American rapper, actor and music producer born on October 17, 1972 in St. Joseph, Missouri. Eminem has sold over 300 million records making him the bestselling hip-hop artist of all time. In addition to his solo career, he is a member of D12 and (with Royce da 5'9") half of the hip-hop duo Bad Meets Evil... read more

Eminem may not be the best role model for kids because of all the bad words he uses in his songs but hey! Don't you think that all the rappers do that?
Spitting bad words is a part of rapping and besides Eminem is the best rapper I've known (after 2pac)
But still children shouldn't listen to his songs

I love Eminem... He is awesome... I would talk about that 2 if I was abused by my mom... He has his own way of communicating and it happens to be his music. He is a little strange but you just have to get used to it

He raps about drugs and killing people a lot. Not a good role model whatsoever. Kanye West is a great role model, raps about real life topics like consumerism and religion.

17 Jackie Evancho Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" Evancho is an American classical crossover singer who gained wide recognition at an early age. Since 2009, she has issued an EP and eight albums, including a platinum and gold album, and three Billboard 200 top 10 debuts. Evancho's latest album 'The Debut', was her eighth consecutive release to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Classical Albums chart... read more

Not a single person has actually voted to put Jackie Evancho on this list.
RickRossBiggestFan and SelfDestruct, who are both the same person have hacked the system and artificially placed her here.
A shame that the OP and Top Tens allow this.

Its great that Jackie Evancho's name is up near the top, as a perfect example of someone who is a GREAT role model for kids.

She always dresses well, does not do drugs, does not smoke [anything], gets along well with her family, and always performs beautifully.

A troll [like the two who commented here] has artificially placed her name at the top of this list, but he should be thanked, because calling attention to her in that way really illustrates what a good example Jackie Evancho is for kids and adults alike.

Her trash is nonsense.

18 Kim Jong-un Kim Jong-un (born 8 January 1983) is a North Korean politician who has been Supreme Leader of North Korea since 2011 and the leader of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) since 2012. He is a son of Kim Jong-il, who was North Korea's second supreme leader from 1994 to 2011, and Ko Yong-hui. He is a grandson of Kim Il-sung (who was the founder and first supreme leader of North Korea from its establishment in 1948 until his death in 1994) and the first leader of North Korea to have been born in the country after its founding in 1948.

I have watched a video about a 9 year old starting a communist musical party, her name is Narde and she supports north korea, she convinces people to worship kim jong un. North Korea is full of dangerous laws, hard labour, slavery, tortures, and dumbest ways to get arrested. Kim Jong un is fat and he makes the strictest laws ever and he does not want people to have access to internet.

19 Adam Sandler Adam Richard Sandler is an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, and film producer. After becoming a Saturday Night Live cast member, Sandler went on to star in many Hollywood feature films that combined have grossed over $2 billion at the box office.

How could adam sandler be in this list.

He should be higher.

He is a great man

20 Marilyn Manson Brian Hugh Warner, better known by his stage name Marilyn Manson, is an American musician, songwriter, actor, painter, multimedia artist, author, and former music journalist.

What? What brain-cell/personality deprived mushroom who lived all his life under the umbrella of boring put this on here? More like fantastic role-model. Yes he HAS done drugs and other questionable things, but he has amazing philosopher about the world and who knows, a hundred years from now he may be history.

Yeah, yeah Christians say he's the Antichrist, others say he's done drugs so he's immediately bad and so on! But they fail to look into the finer details. Those details being his song lyrics and his general personality. Why judge a book by its cover, you could miss out something you will love?

Come on people! Stop giving him so much crap. He's grown up now. He's pretty tamed now. I wish you people for once would just stop judging by appearances and try to understand people a little more better.

I bet a soccer mom put this guy on this list. Just because he's Goth doesn't make him a bad role model. If you actually read into some of his interviews, then you would realize he's better than you think.

21 Lady Gaga Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, known professionally as Lady Gaga, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress.

On the start of her career, she performed at an event called the Lollapalooza Festival during 2007 whereby a record label company Interscope found her due to her performance being “amusing” to watch. Most of her songs were deep unreleased cuts, due to her having more than 30 songs and 17 were picked. ...read more.

I have no idea what your talking about she is a really great inspiration. She has taght people not only to be yourself but that its okay to be weird and not the smartest or best because you were born this way. Ohh and to the person that said you will eat her she will eat your heart and brain before you even try...

I think Lady Gaga is a great role model for young girls! Her song born this way is all about loving yourself and loving other people for who they are! She also has a foundation called the Born this Way foundation and it is about being kind.

She is crazy! If you don't believe me just look what she wears a MEAT DRESS! They say she is satanic and look at those prosthetic horns. A very good singer but she is just crazy!

She is awesome, weird list. She is awesome, and a you hate her for her meat dress, like, really? People are messed up these days..

24 Elmo Elmo is a Muppet character on the children's television show Sesame Street. He is a furry red monster with a falsetto voice, who hosts the last full fifteen-minute segment on Sesame Street, "Elmo's World", which is aimed at toddlers.

So Your saying Adolf Hitler is a better role model than Elmo..I really hope you people don't have kids.

Elmo's not a bad role model! He's for little kids! Grow up people!

Elmo is here? Well then why isn't Friday the 13th rated G?

25 Lloyd Irving

Oh yeah, it's this guy from Tales of Symphonia that Justin Bieber can beat up (I hate Justin Bieber but I hate Lloyd Irving more).
