Worst Running Backs of the 2018 NFL Season

The Top Ten
1 LeSean McCoy LeSean Kamel McCoy also known as "Shady" is an American football running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League.

In terms of the starting running backs I wouldn't be surprised if they abandon Shady McCoy after this season. The age is catching up to him, and the O-line is so bad he either needs new scenery, or this could be the end for him.

2 Devontae Booker

Okay let's think about this because he was the initial starter for Denver, and eventually the 3rd strong back known as Philip Lindsay took over, and this guy was not ready for the starting role as he reminds me in a lot of ways like Montee Ball only difference here is a pretty bad 4th round pick from 2016.

3 Chris Thompson

After having a fairly decent season lasts season his carries and production dropped significantly. AP cam back strong, and Thompson was left out the dusk of a pretty below average offense this team surely did miss Derrius Guice after all.

4 Carlos Hyde Carlos Hyde is an American football running back for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League.

Sadly his best game was against the lowly Jets, and he hasn't had a good game since than and his production dropped as he was traded in desperation tot he Jags boy how genius do the Browns look getting rid of a washed up former 2nd round pick who still has fumble issues?

5 Alfred Morris Alfred Bruce Morris is an American football running back for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League.

The former Redskin has unfortunately fallen from grace since his back to back 1,000 yard seasons as a leading back you would believe he could shine in an offense like the niners, but that never happened instead Matt Brieda is the one to take that role from him which is pretty surprising seeing who was Brieda last season when Carlos Hyde was starting?

6 Leonard Fournette Leonard Joseph Fournette III is an American football running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League.

Of the second year tail backs nobody had a strong hit of a sophomore slump than Leonard Fournette who had trouble staying healthy, and even when he came in the lineup it was too late for any push of a comeback because his team was an utter disappointment.

7 Corey Clement

With the Philly RB'S all hurt for the most part losing Jay Ajayi

somebody had to step up, and it hasn't been Clement instead its been Josh Adams the unknown.

8 Dalvin Cook

Cook has been the staring guy for 3 months, and in doing so his production is not what everybody expected to turn for the worst, and while his playing better now than what he was given still big disappointment seeing half his yards are not what they should be from an inconsistent offense. Cook also has only two touchdowns something is wrong here when you don't have that finisher back in there right?

Cooks hype far exceeds his actual football abilities. He will likely not be in the league for very long.

At least with a new, balanced offensive coordinator, Cook will actually get carries, unlike under John DeFelippo.

9 Doug Martin Douglas Matthew Baranco Martin is an American football running back for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League.

As Beast mode gets hurt for the year the Raiders rushing attacks is gone for the most part, and we go to a washed up player from Tampa who ended up falling from grace trading pirate teams pretty much.

10 Dion Lewis

I'm not saying his bad he has done what he could for the Titans, but for a former Patriot you would think now he can transition to being his own guy right? Well Derrick Henry in the 1st half didn't do anything here he is running like O.J. Simpson with smashmouth juice thrown to opposing defenses meanwhile Dion Lewis is more of a passing tail back more than anything.

The Contenders
11 Ronald Jones II

Tamp Bay's running game isn't that good, but Peyton Barber at least showed some action, and got the starting job his okay. 2nd rookie Ronald Jones on the other hand shown sign of not staying healthy, and signs of fumble issues definitely took the worst of the running backs of 2018 class.

12 Rashaad Penny

He's so overrated
