Worst Running Backs Entering the 2018 NFL Season

Imagine not having a good tail back to get the pressure off of you well this would be that case with these guys who are probably ones you want to avoid in fantasy as well while were at it.

The Top Ten

Marlon Mack

Colts don't look good on paper in the running game meaning that Luck is probably gonna be on his last leg unless somehow the protection is good enough to the point are we in for a shock in the AFC South. Or the Colts we knew all along pretenders on offense. Like the last running back Mack shows some flashes, but not on a 16 consistent level which is why honestly I could of put em #1 honestly, but I didn't. - htoutlaws2012

Indianapolis is in trouble at running back. - PackFan2005

Jonathan Stewart Jonathan Creon Stewart is an American football running back for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League.

Obviously be the #2 behind Saquon Barkley, and while I'm scared of the whole Penn State curse looming, Jonathan Stewart is not much better. Carolina was so bad enough they let him get more carries, and yards than
Christian McCaffrey that year who everybody fought would be great to see immediately that didn't happen due to the fact the offensive coordinator seemed to be wasting the talent than. - htoutlaws2012

Jamaal Williams

There have been times Green Bay could run the ball, and at other times they just could not. Not saying Williams is necessarily terrible in this case seeing that Green Bay is more on the passing offense than they were balanced which there not. Strangely though it works in the how screwy offensive scheme somehow. - htoutlaws2012

Rashaad Penny

Of all the rookies the one least likely to make an immediate impact I can safely go with Rashaad Penny who was a super reach in the draft a guy who wasn't even a top 5 prospect on the board is a late first round pick, and even worse your drafted to a team that has struggled running, and blocking for Russell Wilson how is this guy going to do that much I tell you? - htoutlaws2012

Carlos Hyde Carlos Hyde is an American football running back for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League.

There are few times he can be a nice player, but his inconsistencies have shown the past couples of times with the 49ers, now going to the Browns I can't see Hyde thrive there, nor even one of the top 100 best players is even more wrong seeing he has fumble issues in his career. I'm rooting for Nick Chubb to win that starting role by the time Regular seasonbegins put him and Tyrod on the same lineup the Browns have more chances to win games. - htoutlaws2012

Lamar Miller Lamar Miller is an American football running back for the Houston Texans of the National Football League.

I'm just not impressed the way Lamar Miller's running style turns out like its okay, but its not prolifically great by any means. I'm actually rooting for the guy who showed some flashes of becoming a good tail back in D'onta Foreman hopefully he can fill that spot that way Watson does have more room to do damage this season. - htoutlaws2012

Tevin Coleman Tevin Ford Coleman is an American football running back for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League.

He is there #2 option next to Devonta Freeman who is a very reliable guy to go to meanwhile Coleman while he can be decent is very hard to connect with seeing his deaf. - htoutlaws2012

Dion Lewis

Derrick should be a nice sleeper to have if you have nothing else to get in the later rounds where as with Lewis I use to think he was good at one point, but entering a new system I'm not sure if he'll thrive as there #2. - htoutlaws2012

Joe Mixon

While he may see more catches in his second year... don't count on much improvement consider Cincinnati has no O-line whatsoever his stock is not exactly moving up at the moment. - htoutlaws2012

Royce Freeman

I like that his on a team that needs a young back to get a go, but if he doesn't go well as I'm guessing he won't than that blows your back to square one at running back. - htoutlaws2012
