What is the #1 WORST search engine of time?! You vote!Okay, I've seen bad search engine, but this is a virus. Just a virus. I got it while searching "good and bad search engines" then got - THIS VIRUS. I had to reboot my computer and corrupted some of my files. This is bad. Bad.
Instead of seeing the actual search engine, I instead saw a lot of ways to uninstall Start MySearch Dial. That should say how bad of a virus it is.

Yeah, this doesn't exist. All it says is "Remove from Chrome" or "Remove from" whatever. That's all I need to know.

I searched this topic on PCHSearch&Win just because I could not believe how bad this search engine was, and Lo and Behold, what search engine is at number 5 of the worst search engines? PCHSearch&Win. Yep, that says it all.
Tried to get me to search and win or I would, "Lose out on oppurtunity to win monies." That spelling is exactly what it said.
Takes you to a few, mostly unrelated sites - seldom what you are looking for.
Brings up useless information, sometimes not even close to the keywords.
DDG isn't so much a search engine a a compilation of other search engines (Wolfram is awesome, for Bing see above). Their own crawl index is weak at best. If it is fast it is because it really isn't finding anything. Quickly and reliably finding nothing useful, usually with their own horn tooting somewhere near the top of the returns.
DuckDuckGo is THE way to go if you don't want all your personal information sold to the highest bidder. It's safe, reliable and fast.
It is the best! It doesn't track you, unlike Google, which tracks everything you put in the search box. I have no idea why it is in this list.
I think it is too early to say that DuckDuckGo will kick Google's Bootay, People are talking about it, but you know Google is Google and period.
Bing has very limited and skewed search results that never take me where I want to go. Bing seems to have an agreement with Microsoft that makes it the default search engine on every new computer that I use which is very annoying. I understand how Google thinks and how Google searches, why would I want to use a less competent program that always seems to omit the particular search results that I am actually looking for.
This is all incorrect! Bing is AMAZING! In fact, I am using it right now! There is nothing google has that bing doesn't. I also like the feature where you can hide the news, and the background pictures everyday are amazing! Bing is a perfect website for someone who just needs to search the web.
Worst EVER! It never pulls anything close to what I want. I put the exact same thing in Google (best ever) and the thing I want is the first result on page 1.

It is a worse search engine. It is invasive to any computer with out knowing. I've difficult to get rid of this ass. It mess up with all my computer. I get rid off few time but again came back. Because of its invasive nature and worthless I don't recommend this to any body.

TERRIBLE GOOGLE coagulates garbage soup out of your key words so that only the 5HIT floats to the top of the list. Worst of all is the level of relevance has been down for years. It is so frustrating and "putting text in quotes to force a find" - does not work anymore. Also repeating words worked at one time to force relevance, but not anymore - Google sweeps together garbage soup - something has gone wrong. Try to buy a toy in the UK or US when in another country is impossible - it forces local region sales and ignores your UK or US options - A TOWER OF BUGS A MILE HIGH AND NO FEEDBACK TO LET THEM KNOW. Political correctness algorithms are kicking in and they are acting against both academic and scientific facts that are timeless and last forever - google is like a dead rat in your floorboards it stinks of PC without hope of recovery. The lack of feedback is equal to the arrogance of dead Roman emperors who thought they were gods.
Google has sucked for a very long time now. Everything you search brings up some a link to purchase something. Even if you already have the thing you're looking up. It doesn't search phrases any more just random words, like word soup, even if you put what you're searching for in quotations it still won't look up what your looking for. Google is a evil corporate sale out only interested in working with money grubbing corporations to sell you products that you don't want or don't need.
Google is the ONLY company who can introduce a "New and Improved" and take away features and remove usability at the same time. Only to reintroduce those features as new in the future because they have no genuine features. They 'reinvent" features that are 15 years old and market them as new. Google's search results SUCK. The use of punctuation to hone search results is NOW INEFFECTIVE.
I like answers for the fun articles but for actual answers, forget IT.

If you want to totally waste an entire day, try to contact "Yahoo Customer, We Don't Care! Department".
They put you in a circular loop sending you to the customer care site, then to the sign in site and then to the customer care site and give you a number to call, "We are experiencing long wait times, so depending on your age and health, you may want to hang up, give up and go to Google, or you can be redirected to customer Care online which will bring you right back here after about an hour, final solution, you can wait on hold, listening to our annoying Yahoo refrain over and over and over again for three or four hours"..
Today is Sunday the 16th. of November 11:27 AM, I have been on hold since 8:22 AM, after I was dropped twice after waiting and additional two hours.
I have been trying to reset my email password, that Yahoo dropped for some reason, and then locked my account.
To unlock the account they put you in the circle of Hell...

I have worked tirelessly to get SEO for my businesses website. Despite being #1 local on Google, #1 organic on Google, #1 organic on Bing.. my company is not even found hardly on Yahoo. I am outranked by a company 1/20 the size of my company who's website was done in like the 80's (Not Mobile Ready), I am outranked by a company that is no longer in business- In fact I purchased the majority of his inventory. To say Yahoo sucks would be giving them too much credit. They must have some of the worst SEO analysis people in history and thus is why they make ZERO money and are being crushed by Google!
My Chrome seems to be in love with this crappy search engine since it doesn't matter how many times I delete this sorry excuse for a search engine it always comes back...hell I can't even open up a new tab without it coming back...this search engine can be compared to a virus considering it doesn't go away no matter how hard you try...hell I had less trouble getting rid of Norton
Absolutely the worst I've ever come across. I went to download firefox and some adware site (like softonic for example) comes up BEFORE THE OFFICIAL SITE, and there's no way of telling them apart. Also, yahoo is powered by bing, so that should raise a red flag right there. Absolutely the worst search engine I've ever seen. I 100% recommend using anything BUT yahoo.
It sucks. I used it to get here and almost died from cancer.
HOLD IT, Yandex is terrible. The worst ever. Why does it get your results in different languages! I'm sure that the browser is a virus, it sound like Yontoo. This is bad. I hate it. MISERABLE.
