Worst Second Installments In Movie Franchises
Movie sequels are usually worse than its originals. Although people usually hate third and fourth installments, second installments can be quite horrible too! Here are the worst onesHow is this not on the list?
Alvin & the Chipmunks are among the worst live-action cgi movies ever created in my opinion. They are disgusting, unfunny and overall boring. will admit liking the third one though, that one was pretty good. Even the first one is somewhat enjoyable. However, this one is truly the worst of the franchise. Not only did I hate the new characters introduced, the story is very bad and tries to be hip and cool for kids. So basically Dave goes to hospital and dumb teenager Toby must take care of the chipmunks and the chipmunks go to school, and that's where the wrst part comes, the school. It's so horrible and the characters there are unlikable jerks. One of the worst movies ever!
Ah, yes, the infamous Bayformers series. The ones with no story, no character development, barely any transformers and overuse of CGI. I will admit the first and fourth ones are way worse. But this one's also very bad! So while this one kinda has a story it's not very memorable, so Sam Nitwit (pun intended) goes to college and does something I don't remember. It's pretty bad. I don't even remember much from this movie, but I also hated the oversexualized women characters. This movie is just horrible!
I actually liked this movie.
You said you like this movie. I can think other 83822828282828282828 movies to make the entire list as there is a lot like the Neverending Story II
This movie is really only filler for the list, but people hate it so I had it here too
I haven't seen this movie but since I often run out of items for lists and this movie is super hated I decided I should put this here too.
If you have not seen a movie, you cannot put it on a worst list.
Alright, how is Star Wars The Last Jedi worse than this?
How is Last Jedi worse than this?
As a guy who has seen both the original and this sequel, I can say that they're not bad movies. However they are definitely a big let-down from the Raimi movies. Especially this one. It's very messed up and it overuses a bunch of CGI and Green Goblin was wasted in the movie. However, Electro was a very good villian and I feel bad for him, overall, not a bad movie but a forgettable one.
This movie was really bad!
I haven't seen it but judging from what B1ueNew said about this movie it sounds like a Zootopia sequel in terms of politics
This movie's great in my opinion.
I watched one of the High School Musical movies because I was forced to. I think it was this one...? Anyways, I did not like it all. It was awful.
Here is the question does Empire strike back count has the second installment since it was the 2nd movie made of the Franchise even though it is episode 5 or does Attack of the Clones count as the second installment because it is the 2nd episode of the Star Wars story?
Some people may say this shouldn't be on the list, but I consider it to be a second installment, in the sequel trilogy, I mean if The Empire Strikes Back counts as a second installment the nthis does too. I think everyone already knows how I feel about the movie so I won't explain about the movoe
Empire Strikes Back counts as it was the second Star Wars movie to come out
You mean technically ninth. Okay then.
Here we have a Blue Sky animated movie. Rio 2, I wil admit it's snot really that bad. However compared to the original this is just one massive dissapointment! The first one is really memorable and fun and I consider it to be one of Blue Sky's best movies! However the sequel does't win the same title. I will admit I love the jungle enviroment but the rest is forgettable, I hate how mean-spirited this movie is, Blu is treated like crap constantly in this movie and the new characters are horrible. I also don't see the point of Nigel returning since this movie already has villians and he's only for filler! However I won't complain since the movie lacked tons of cool characters so it's kinda understandable why they brought back the excellent main antagonist from the original
This movie is really good, however it's a bit dissapointing and it kinda rehashes the original.
Dear the Lego group
please don't make a movie franchise like the MCU. I enjoyed your toys like 3 years ago, Now you just make these movies and T.V. shows and games for cash.
Not out yet. But It's probably going to suck because it's basically a cash grab.
Not out yet but I'm not interested in it
In my honest opinion I preffered the original and third one over this one. It's enjoyable but this movie only takes place at home in the beggining of the movie! Most of the movie takes place it New York! It's good but the title is misleading!
Yeah lemme hate a movie for taking too much place in New York! Despite it SAYING New york in the title! WHY? I wanted it to take place in Tennesese or London in a movie called "Lost in New York"
It says "Lost in New York" and has the Empire State Building on the poster. You should have been expecting it. Also, if you cannot come up with movies, research.
I loved this one, actually.
There's a sequel for this?!
I might be on the other side because I thought this was a good movie.
What? This was great!
This movie is bad from the critical and no bat nipples rule stand point from an entertainment stand point is was quite good, if you watch a movie just for a good time you don't care about bad acting, weird plot, and dad jokes it is really fun movies
You mean 4th but alright then.
I heard it was really bad
And you have not seen it
Oh you have got to be kidding. Have any of these other movies completely went against what the original movie was? And I don't mean that as in "morals", I mean this completely threw away everything stated in the first Highlander movie. Troll 2 would sort of count for this but that was never a sequel, it was completely unrelated.
(Random fun fact: Neither Star Wars movie on this list is a second installment. Last Jedi was the eighth and Attack of the Clones was the fifth. The actual second installment was The Empire Strikes Back, which was very good.)
This movie is just atrocious, the whole story is just confusing
It's good to look at, but the plot is not so great.
Not really a second installment unless you count Jurassic World as a seperate duology
5th installment
If the Last Jedi counts this crappy overrated movie should too.
I thought this movie was great, but the worst of the real six
