Worst Slapstick CartoonsSlapstick cartoons, for the most part, are really fun to watch. Cartoons like Ed, Edd n Eddy, Rocko's Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, Dave the Barbarian, etc. are fine examples of good slapstick cartoons. However, not all slapstick cartoons are fun to watch. There are ones that took their slapstick too far, that it just ends up being loud, obnoxious, and annoying.

Okay, I will admit, I don't hate Christy Karacas as a whole. He's okay as a person, and he's alright as a musician and actor. Ballmastrz: 9009, which I thought was gonna be too gory, was just boring, but at least not as bad as THIS one. Superjail! is the definition of bad slapstick cartoons AND bad adult cartoons. Now, I'm not saying slapstick cartoons are not a bad choice for adult animation, as there are good slapstick shows for adults, like Ren & Stimpy, and the Brak Show. However, Superjail! is what happens when you take the Wacky World of Tex Avery, and turn it into a mixture of Ren & Stimpy "Adult Party Cartoon", SpongeBob SquarePants and Happy Tree Friends. As 1997DeviantIvan said: When I watched Superjail!, it made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Superjail! looks like as if it was made by a person who escaped an insane asylum, then took a bunch of weed, cocaine, LSD and all sorts of drugs. This show feels like a bad drug trip. And I can't believe that Jackson Publick (Chris ...more - SpaceGoofsGeekerBoy
It's Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi if there was ZERO effort whatsoever. - SpaceGoofsGeekerBoy
And people say Teen Titans Go! was trash. Hey, at least that show was INTENTIONALLY different from the original show. THIS one makes Teen Titans Go! look like the ORIGINAL Teen Titans series.
I don't know why I said I used to like DiC as a kid. I love Tex Avery's work, don't get me wrong, but THIS is just insulting. - SpaceGoofsGeekerBoy
Basically Nickelodeon's answer to the Wacky World of Tex Avery. - SpaceGoofsGeekerBoy
While Cartoon Network does an amazing job with their slapstick shows, personally, this one would be the network's worst slapstick cartoon, that is FULLY animated. - SpaceGoofsGeekerBoy
Why, Warner Bros.? Why do you gotta make a bad slapstick cartoon? - SpaceGoofsGeekerBoy
This show is just utter trash. - SpaceGoofsGeekerBoy
Both the movies were awesome and I agree that the franchise needed a T.V. show. However, this is not the way to do it. For starters, they made the show take place BEFORE Flint made food fall from the sky, which was the whole point of the first movie and what made it so interesting. The show shouldn't even be called "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs: The Series" if you ask me. Instead, it should be called "Flint and Sam Go on Stupid Adventures." Also, don't the people behind this show know that Flint and Sam didn't officially meet until Flint made it rain food? Not to mention, Sam didn't get her glasses and scrunchie until she and Flint met. It's like the creators never saw the movie. - regularponyfan09
This show is just as bad as the movie, again. - SpaceGoofsGeekerBoy
This show is just as bad as the movie. - SpaceGoofsGeekerBoy
The worst of Tom Ruegger's Warner Bros. cartoons. - SpaceGoofsGeekerBoy
This show looks like if Superjail! was animated by DiC! - SpaceGoofsGeekerBoy
