Worst Super Smash Bros 3DS/Wii U Newcomers

The game has been out for a year, but remember that time when you saw the newcomers and you were like "Oh my god, I can't wait to play as Mega Man" or something like that. But, some of them you were like "Is Sakurai trolling with us?" Today, I'll be listing the worst newcomers. I'll determine by, hype, usefulness, and how big the surprise. Please don't think I hate these characters. Enjoy!
The Top Ten
1 Dr. Mario Dr. Mario is the persona Mario takes in the Dr. Mario series. Under this identity, Mario dons a lab coat, a head mirror, and a stethoscope around his neck. He first appeared in his titular game, Dr. Mario.

I'm not even sure if I would consider him a newcomer! He's appeared in Melee, and he's a clone of Mario. I'm pretty nobody would've cared if he returned or not.

Next time, he should be a palette swap character of Mario with a different outfit & different move set.

It's ironic how Dr Mario is number one because he isn't a newcomer.

Dr. Mario was in Melee!

2 Wii Fit Trainer

Though on the bright side, if you actually play any WiiFit game and get annoyed with her/his constant "help", you can then beat the crap out of him/her in Smash.

You obviously saw this coming. To me, this was the weirdest choice to ever be included in Smash Bros.

She's the easiest character for me. Everyone hates her but I always win when I play as her

3 Lucina Lucina is one of the main characters in Fire Emblem Awakening, as well as a fighter in Super Smash Bros. Her most notable feature is her love for her father.
4 Dark Pit

Why is it that Pokken could have two Pikachus and two Mewtwos and have them all play almost completely differently from each other, but Smash couldn't do that with Pit and Dark Pit? Such a lame and biased choice.

I wouldn't consider clone newcomers to be considered actual newcomers, but at least he's more useful than #3 and #2.

5 Robin Robin is a character in Fire Emblem Awakening, which was developed by Intelligent Systems and Nintendo SPD and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS, and as one of three main protagonists of the game, serving as the deuteragonist.

Robin is one of those characters that everyone keeps forgetting that's in the roster. He's good, but underrated.

6 Corrin

This is the only character in this list, that I actually hate. He/She is being overused, and he/she is just in the roster for advertisement. Also, I'm pretty sure, no one knew who the heck he/she was when they were revealed.

It's a celebration of Nintendo, not Fire Emblem.

I knew who it was the instant I saw Ryoma.

7 Mii Brawler

It looked like a cool idea to have your Mii in the game, but they're just so useless. Maybe, if they had better movesets, they would be much better.

8 Pac-Man
9 Bayonetta

That stupid patch just to nerf her did nothing. Her players (read: anybody who plays online and doesn't use Cloud) just found new ways to spam you to death in the blink of an eye.

Why did all the perverts and feminists swarm the Smash ballot?

10 Bowser Jr. Bowser Jr., or sometimes simply Jr., is a video game character who appears in Nintendo's Mario franchise as the secondary antagonist. He is the youngest son of the series' primary antagonist, Bowser.

Bowser Jr. to me is fine, but why did they add the whole Koopalings? At least they don't actually have their own character slots, and they're just costume changes. (Unlike others)

The Contenders
11 Palutena Palutena is a character from Kid Icarus (1987), Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters (1991), and Kid Icarus: Uprising (2012). She is also a playable character in Super Smash Brothers for 3DS and WiiU (2014), and in Super Smash Brothers: Ultimate (2018). She is the goddess of light and ruler of Angel Land, and she sends the captain of her army Pit, to go and stop the forces of the Underworld.

"Anything an angel can do, a goddess can do better" Well Palutena, look at the tier list.

12 Cloud Cloud Strife, more commonly known as simply "Cloud", is a fictional video game character, the main protagonist of Square's video game Final Fantasy VII, which is a role playing game released in 1997. He also is the main protagonist of the high-definition version, as well as many of its sequels and spinoffs. ...read more.
13 Shulk Shulk is a fictional character and the protagonist from Monolith Soft's 2010 role-playing video game Xenoblade Chronicles, part of their overarching Xeno series of video games.

No one really knew Shulk (unless you played Xenoblade Chronicles) so some people were confuse, but he's a pretty good character. He's one of my secondaries.

14 Little Mac Little Mac is a fictional boxer and the main protagonist in Nintendo's Punch-Out!! series of video games. He first appeared in Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!. He is the smallest and youngest of all the boxers in the games, being only 17 years old across all Punch-Out!! games. His signature attack is the "Star Uppercut".

I was excited when he was revealed, but there's one problem, he's so darn cheap. What all Little Macs do, is they spam his smash attacks which is a counter, and makes him invisible.

15 Rosalina & Luma Rosalina, known as Rosetta in Japan, is a major character in the Mario Franchise created by Nintendo. She first appeared in the 2007 Mario Game, Super Mario Galaxy for the Nintendo Wii and later returned for the game's sequel in 2010. Since then, she has been featured in many main-series Mario Games and many spinoffs. She has appeared as a playable character in Super Mario 3D World for the Nintendo Wii U in 2013 and is a playable character in the Mario Kart series and Mario Party series. She also has come into Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS as a part of the large character roster.

I LOVE Rosalina, she's my main, but admittedly she's pretty undeserving to be in a game like Smash Bros.

She sucks shes my 1 worst

16 Duck Hunt Dog

The least expected newcomer of them all.

17 Peach

Everyone hates her. She doesn't deserve to be in this wonderful game.

Who added Peach? She's not a newcomer!
