Top Ten Worst Songs of 2016Ark-M
The Contenders: Page 15
This song is lyrically genius, in an Eminem sorta way. But the production is weird. I like the tight plucks of percussion, they have groove (this is a compliment in 2016), but it feels simultaneously too fast and too slow, and that stuttered travel vocal thing on the chorus isn't helping the awkward structure. Eh. 4/5 - WonkeyDude98
Why the hell is this on here? It's one of the best of the year! - Spark_Of_Life
This is a masterpiece. 7/5 - ProPanda
Great song of 2016 - Neonco31V 4 Comments
An even worse cover of a terrible song. - SwellowV 3 Comments
Sure, this wouldn't go down as one of the worst songs of 2016, but there was only one but massive problem. Sure, Tinashe played the somber sadness personality which came off pretty well done and the beat is actually relating to the song. The problem is, Chance The Rapper! Now his somber sadness personality only comes off as annoying nasal voice! And that ruined it for me. I am sorry guys, but not even the song's many strong points can fix what Chance The Rapper ruined, even if it tried. 0/5. - SelfDestruct
Tinashe nailed this perfect rewrite of "Here". Why it's doing here over one bloody rapper is just disappointing. - Swellow
This isn't that bad but it's not the best. I love Camila Cabello and I'm a diehard Camilizer, but MGK...when he "raps" it sounds like I don't know...a beached whale. And the lyrics...do you really want to hear a seven-year old singing "I ONLY WANNA DO BAD THINGS TO YOU! " Probably not. I have mixed feelings about this song. Partially I like it but partially it gives me the chills. It's like MGK WANTS people to be spooked out by his lyrics...he's really good at doing THAT job.
Camila Cabello is in it, enough said.
This song is only bad things. 0/5 - WonkeyDude98
You know what? Screw my previous comment. This is pop/hip-hop PERFECTION. MGK is a really good rapper, and Camila Cabello is the BEST singer ever. The lyrics aren't that bad, they are both good vocalists, and the music video was ART. It had a STORY. Overall 5/5.
Lukas' voice ruins this otherwise good song, 2/5 - ProPanda
If you've ever seen me comment on an anti-pop list, you'd think I like Justin Bieber. Well I don't, and song like THIS are the reason why. I mean, I already hated this song before I listened to it. 2016 Justin Bieber and diet 2016 Justin Bieber (Post Malone) is automatically a fail. But even with this horrendous combination, this is an ATROCITY, easily worse than White Iverson, maybe even worse than Go Flex.
Forget the fact that whatever vibes you could collect from this are swamped in reverb-y bass and thin trap percussion, and that both of these guys sound like they just woke up from a bad head cold, but the lyrics...man these guys are really trying to sell themselves as tools aren't they?
Forget the fact that Post Malone explicitly tells a girl who's leaving him to leave her...well...stuff at the door, and by that he means her underwear, and the way he phrases it automatically makes me think of brown stains, he says that he screws so many women that the one he's doing ...more - WonkeyDude98
Why the hell does this guy have a career again?
Well, Wonkey summed this up better than I could so, I'm just gonna leave with a a -1/5 - ProPanda
Man screw this garbage. This song is your average high song and bullsheet. Wonkey summed this better than I could but I would like to add some stuff.
HOW THE PHUCK IS IT RELATED TO DEJA VU STUPID TOAST MALONE. Screw you. Toast Malone. I mean Post Malone because I keep calling him Post Malone.
So I first heard about this douche when ProPanda PMed me and said he's his least favorite rapper and I wanted to check him out. I heard White Iverson before he told me and didn't like it. He says Deja Vu is much worse. I took one listen. BIG MISTAKE. I nearly fainted and collapsed when someone started playing Starboy which made me get better and shoot the radio that was playing phucking Deja Vu with a Nerf Gun.
So this summed up how crap this song is. Easily one of the worst. -500/5 - AlphaQ
Desiigner being a complete nonpresence (where in this song am I supposed to hear him? ), Gucci Mane being as annoying as ever, and Kanye West being arrogant ruins this potentially good song. the best I can give is a 2/5. Sorry. - SelfDestruct
Am I the only one who thinks this song isn't that bad?
The only thing that makes me want to puke more than Bebe's performance is that cancerous drop... - Spark_Of_Life
So overplayed and ANNOYING, the drop is even worse than the drop in Closer (and that's saying a lot), Bebe's voice is so irritating, screw this I Know What You Did Last Summer ripoff
This is the worst song I have ever heard. It gives me a headache every time I hear it.
This is I Know What You Did Last Summer if:
Shawn Mendes was replaced by a crappy DJ who is worse than David Guetta and the Chainsmokers combined.
The chemistry was completely eradicated.
And worst of all:
CAMILA CABELLO REPLACED WITH BEBE REXHA
Wanna know the worst thing about this song? This isn't even one of the absolute worst on the album. -1/5 - WonkeyDude98V 1 Comment
This is one of the worst songs I've ever heard. I hate the compression on Beck's voice, I hate the random nonsense lyrics, I hate the blocky, overly chunky 808s, I hate the bridge, I hate the guitar on the chorus, and most of all I hate the broken whistling synths, especially when it's converted into chiptune. And yet, I kinda love this for all that. It's the definition of "so bad it's good". But for an artist like Beck, that can only take you so far. 3/5 - WonkeyDude98
Didn't Beck lose her relevance more than a decade ago? - Swellow
"She got a body, and she's naughty." This has to be one of the most cringeworthy lyrics of the year. - NiktheWiz
