Top Ten Worst Songs to Hear After a BreakupYou've broken up. Both gone separate ways and for a little while you feel numb then you think you can cope - that is...until a particular song plays on the radio and all your hard work of trying to forget is undone. Which songs breaks your heart all over again?
The Top Ten
Although Dolly Parton's version is a real heart-stabber. She whispers a lot and her voice holds so much more emotion than Whitney Houston's. - Britgirl
I agree completely, Beege . After all, Dolly wrote it, and she wrote it to be sung the way she sang it. At risk of angering Whitney fans, while she had a great instrument, she never learned, in my opinion, to use it with finesse. That's most apparent in her rendition of this otherwise beautiful song. Let the tomatoes fly, I'll just make salsa:).
Even now, as I type this, my heart aches. The lyrics are a killer. - Britgirl
"Nothing's the same without you. Another day goes passing by, I sit alone and wonder why. Sometimes it's hard, but I will try to live my life without you." - Metal_Treasure
To be honest, when I broke up with my girlfriend back in grade 9, turned on the radio and this song played. - Mumbizz01
"So long, it was so long ago but I've still got the blues for you. So many years since I've seen your face, here in my heart there's an empty space where you used to be". - Metal_Treasure
Oh...I knew I shouldn't have made this list... - Britgirl
This is a great List and This song by Foreigner is a great song but bad to hear after a break up! - Curti2594
I really wanted to add this, but I was afraid if it wasn't a heartbreak song. - Swellow
This song has claimed so many of my tears. - Britgirl
"You tell yourself that you'll be strong but your heart tells you this time you're wrong. You hope that she will change her mind but the days drift on and on... Empty rooms
where we learn to live without love." - Metal_Treasure
