Top 10 Worst SpongeBob SquarePants SongsMcgillacuddy Well, not only can the modern writers of SpongeBob not make good episodes, but they also can't make good songs for the series anymore. In older episodes, songs in this series had that jingle and musical tone that made viewers love them, regardless if they were corny or not. They were meant to add to the fun of the series. Now, in later episodes, we only get a few hits here and there and most songs are just random words put together. So now, it's time to see what songs from SpongeBob SquarePants made us cringe the most...
The Top Ten
I tried making the number 1 choice "Every song from Atlantis SquarePantis" but TheTopTens wouldn't accept the item so I decided to just put the very first song in the episode that kicked it off, but I must get my point across that not only are all songs from Atlantis SquarePantis terrible, but the episode was pretty much the start of the declination of quality songs from the show. - Mcgillacuddy
I'm glad this song gets the hate it does. As far as I know, the bubble song only exists to make you feel sad.
Pretty much, the Encino song was the only guilty pleasure that I had from that stupid special. Every other song is pretty much pointless and nothing compared to previous songs from Pre-Movie episodes. - ModernSpongeBobSucks
Why isn't the Pizza song on this list?
Because lots of people love the Pizza song. That includes me as well. I'm sorry, but not everyone has the same opinion as you do. Some will agree with you, some won't agree with you. Enough said. - ModernSpongeBobSucks
"The Sponge Who Could Fly" was another take on common musicals, but I guess musicals are just not the writers' thing. This was probably the first bad episode of SpongeBob. - Mcgillacuddy
No I love this song
I know they were trying hard to make the song rhyme and be catchy, but it unfortunately just came off as annoying and stupid. - ModernSpongeBobSucks
Armpit farting? Just stop Modern Spongebob.
What I love this song
From the episode "To Love A Patty", an infamous gross-out episode with a ridiculous premise. SpongeBob fell in love with a Krabby Patty; what the hell? Just stop. If that wasn't awkward and out of context enough, SpongeBob also expresses his "love" through song, to a god damn sandwich. - Mcgillacuddy
Baby by Justin Beiber sounds like a Michael Jackson song compared to this poorly-written love song called Oh Baby! - ModernSpongeBobSucks
What were the writers thinking with this crap? No pun intended. - SwagFlicks

Oh gosh... not this song... I'd rather have a trash can thrown over my head, and have it repeatedly banged with a sledge hammer, then have to listen to this trash again! The first time they sang the song, it was annoying enough, but the second time just sent me over the edge.
The first road song was acceptable, but the writers of part 2 just killed it, and I don't mean that in a good way. It was cheesy as hell. - Mcgillacuddy
The on the road song was great but not this one
This on the road song was hilarious, but this one was just…no
That song really gets on my nerves! - ModernSpongeBobSucks
From the episode "Truth or Square", where music artist P! nk and a couple of other random guys sing a song about them having a damn disease with their teeth falling out and black spots on their backs and crap. P! nk, you're a good singer, but please don't ever do that again. Someone else could've sang this piece of crap song, like Justin Bieber. - Mcgillacuddy
Wait you want the pizza song in this list? That's songs hilarious, have you even listened to that song?
They put this song on the list but not the pizza song :@
I can see why Miss Gristle Puss was irritated by this song! I don't mind the episode, but the song really annoyed the hell out of me! I honestly don't know what's worse, I Love Krabby Patties or I Love You from Barney and Friends. Let's just say they both suck on equally abominable levels! - ModernSpongeBobSucks
From the episode "Banned in Bikini Bottom". No offense to the people who like this song, but to me, it was just another terrible attempt at a "fun" song. - Mcgillacuddy
I like Krabby Patties!
I think they're swell,
I like Krabby Patties,
Can you not tell?
They're so neat,
Sweet to eat,
Sweet to eat,
Treat that's neat,
Sweet treat, treat sweet, treat sweet, sweet to eat!
La la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la
Are you kidding! I love this song and the episode!
This song is overrated but I do not hate it - Spongehouse
Wow. Just wow. - PokemonRPGbroV 3 Comments
A soundtrack song from the Sponge Out of Water film sung by N*E*R*D. I thought Squeeze Me was a fine song for the film, but this one just felt... awkward. - Mcgillacuddy
I like every song on the list except for this one. Where's the Bossy Boot Song by the way? - RalphBob
The title of this song is "The King's Fool".
Don't tell me this will be really low in the list. This is just about Squidly wanting to abuse the king.
This song speaks for itself.
"MISTER SUN CAME UP AND HE SMILED AT ME! " Plus, this was when SpongeBob had that annoying voice, which combined with the extremely cheesy lyrics to make this a babyish song. How is this not #1!?
This song is a ripoff from F.U.N. and the lyrics makes no sense.
This song repeats a hundred times and it's annoying.
This song hurts my ears very much.
This song was weird...
THIS SONG IS HORRIBLE WITH NONSENSE LYRICS.
It's so boring, weird, and gay
This song is so annoying and Sandy's voice... UGH
This song is painful.
He's just teasing the jellyfish.
UGHHH! A BORING, STUPID, UNORIGINAL, UNINSPIRED, ANNOYING PIECE OF GARBAGE. ALL IT IS IS SOMETHING INSANELY EASY IN AN (look up)
Are you kidding? I love this! - PokemonRPGbro
You got an opinion, I know won’t you be my neighbor won’t be on this
